This is the second type. They had normal license plates for $15 and "old" ones (1980) for over $150. That was just the tip of the iceberg. They have a card that they stamp so many times depending on the amount of your purchase. If you guess the trivia question that's listed at the register you get an extra stamp. So when you make purchases the money goes to help kids and families in the community.

When we arrived she didn't do as much as a friendly greeting. We also found it odd that there is no signage for this place. We also had an elderly person in our group that urgently needed to use the restroom. She refused to allow us to use the one onsite. Final straw...we took our business elsewhere!

I brought this concern to a volunteer while in the thrift shop, and she said, "We don't have anyone who can help with that, SWEETIE." I asked her to call me ma'am, but she doubled down and called me another patronizing name. Why are they there if they don't want to respect disabled people in all aspects? Isn't Hope Hospice about caring? Maybe the facility itself is, with its paid staff, but the volunteer-powered store is sorely lacking. The population is getting older and less able bodied; and damnit, we deserve some support and respect!

What started off as a great day on a hunt for croc charms quickly turned into shock and tears…read more As most of you know by now Gaven loves sports especially The Buffalo Bills. So his excitement was real when he found a store dedicated to just sports. Gaven quickly hopped the curb and made his way inside taking it all in. What started as excitement ended in being discriminated in and kicked out of the store. That man you see told my child he wasn't welcome in is store because he's in a wheelchair. When my fierce mama emotions kicked in and I went back to tell him, I hope he sleeps well at night after making a child cry. He proceeded to tell me he didn't care and it's not like he would fit in any of his clothing. Gaven is distraught as he's never experienced anything like this and especially by an adult. I truly hate that he had to experience this, it doesn't matter how many times you tell him, some ppl are just bad and uneducated. It doesn't make the hurt any less. Moral of the story just be kind and think before you speak.
