Our experience with DTBP was okay. We were married at the Agave in may 2026. Our DJ spoke with us on the phone 2 or 3 times. I spent about four hours choosing music for the wedding in their portal and don't feel like any of it was really played, including my special request songs. With the 10 hours of music that I chose, it could easily have filled up the entire reception. My main qualm is that I chose the song "where the hell is my husband" for our grand entrance and it began playing in the middle of the song. The beginning is the most important part & that was underwhelming / awkward. Good lighting though and a decent price as far as I know! The DJ was friendly as well. read more

Downtown Browne Productions was one of my favorite vendors to work with while wedding planning! They are very communicative, friendly and organized. What more could a person planning a wedding want? They have an online portal system which made it very easy to let the DJ know what you would like him to do/say/play on your wedding. The DJ assigned to my wedding was DJ Fred and he was awesome!! On the day of my wedding, he did everything as we discussed- played all of the correct songs, didn't mess up names... the best part though was how he 'vibed' with my wedding guests and played what he thought people wanted to dance to (I told him to 'vibe' it) which was SPOT ON. From the very beginning, DTB was INCREDIBLE! They were so responsive and helpful, that made working with them a dream - especially for a postponed/covid wedding. We had Elijah as our DJ and he was incredibly sweet, fun and literally played exactly what we wanted. We had a pre-event call with him to go over the portal to go over our song selections for specific parts of our wedding (ceremony, dances etc) and to go over other music we wanted to hear and how we wanted our event to go. Elijah killed it! I had some specific requests (a song to start playing at a 0:44 seconds, etc) and he nailed it. He made our event so much fun, people had a blast and are still talking about it. Awesome to work with, took great care in valuing our input on genres and style to set the mood just right throughout the evening. True master of ceremonies, 10/10 would recommend. From the moment we booked with them, they were present and consultative, making sure we could bring our wedding ceremony and reception vision to life. They had a great online platform that allowed us to update and customize our timeline and musical playlists for every section of the night. I can't begin to explain how amazing this company is! From day one, they put us first. They have this amazing online portal that allows you to listen and request music, make a timeline, and Gabriel works with you to find the PERFECT DJ that will match your personality, venue, entertainment style, and ultimately whose your DJ soul mate. We had Stephen, and let me tell you, he was beyond amazing. He came to our rehearsal, made a personal effort to get to know all 8 of our parents, our vendors, and our wedding party. He assured every step of the wedding was going according to plan. We wanted someone out going, who was going to make guests feel comfortable on the dance floor, and he exceeded all of our expectations. I felt like I could go to Stephen at any point of the night and he would either answer my question, get me what I needed, and make sure I was 100% happy. Stephen felt like a second wedding planner and it was just amazing to have him there. Our wedding was exceptional and Stephen was one of the main reasons. Gabriel and his team go above and beyond for their clients and you would be so lucky if they were your entertainment company for your next event. 10 stars. Highly recommend. This group was fun to work with and our DJ, Dom, was perfect for our daughter's wedding. He carved out time to meet face to face and over the phone as the wedding grew closer. He quickly responded to emails with requests and surprise song choices to fit with special moments at the reception. Being much more than a DJ resource, this company provides all the production components. No matter what, I highly suggest the uplighting for whatever venue you choose and the color lighting for the floor when the party officially starts. It was so cool and much smaller revolving dots of color than at a dance club. The effect was awesome! With my love for all genres of music, we absolutely loved the portal to create your song selections. We had so much fun finding a song then clicking it to play the video (if one was ever produced). I would recommend Downtown Browne Productions if you want a DJ for your wedding. Gabriel is awesome. He really gets to know you and makes you feel like you're in good hands when you work with him. However, I offer the following bit of advice: if you're unsure about the DJ they match you with, speak up! My husband and I didn't want to offend Gabriel our our prospective DJ, so we didn't say anything even though we didn't think he'd be the best fit. I take full responsibility for that, but I wish I'd said something. Our DJ was very nice and entertaining, but he was not a good listener, and he was not good at following the plan. As my new husband put it, he was good at doing ALMOST what we asked of him. But he started several things early, and created a lot of stress for us the day of our wedding. To explain with examples: -He started the music for the processional early, and my husband had to rush down the aisle to get to his spot in time. -He also tried to start the music for the grand entrance early- while I was in another room getting my dress bustled- so our groomsmen had to run over to him and tell him to stop, because the bride wasn't there. -Towards the end of the night, we told him that we had to go take a few more pictures, and we'd let him know when we were back. We asked him to please wait before he started the music for the last dance. Less than three minutes later, he started the last dance anyway- without us. And he told all our guests to light their sparklers, which we had told him were supposed to be for the sparkler exit. So we missed most of our last chance to dance with our guests, and we had no sparklers for our sparkler exit. And it was entirely unnecessary for him to rush the end of the wedding like that- when we got in our getaway car and drove off, we realized he had ended our reception a full ten minutes early. So he made sure he had time to corner us with a video camera and ask us to describe how great our experience with him was (which was super awkward because we felt like we HAD to say something nice since we were on the spot and right in front of him), but he didn't have time to wait for us to take a few pictures so we didn't miss the last dance. All in all, these are little things, and we still had a lovely wedding. And our guests were definitely entertained, which we're very thankful to our DJ for. But the few things that were stressful or upsetting on our wedding day were all thanks to our DJ, which makes our impression of him an overall disappointed one. read more

We just got married at Agave of Sedona on 6/2/18 and it was amazing. A big part of this was Downtown Browne and the DJ services/music provided by Gabriel and DJ Douglas. Multiple of our other vendors told us to go with Gabriel and his team and we are super glad we did! Our guests said that our wedding was one of the funnest they have been to and the music was a big highlight of the night. Douglas kept the party going and our guests really enjoyed his entertainment. The website and pre-wedding form was easy to use and updated automatically. They were able to accommodate some custom music during our ceremony. All of our requests were played and we were able to tailor our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception to our tastes. Our timeline was off due to us taking sunset photos but Douglas kept it moving and our guests entertained when we were gone. From the beginning, everything was so detailed. We had phone conversations immediately that were focused on who my husband and I were as people and what kind of wedding we would hope to have. Gabriel was so friendly and so professional, we instantly trusted him and his services with our big day. It was so easy to work with him! The online tool for planning was so user friendly and to the point, everything I needed was there! The quality of the entire service provided from start of planning to end of wedding day was outstanding. I never had to reach out to Gabriel searching for questions because everything I needed was sent to me in e-mails or phone conversations. I was never left in the dark on any of the planning, and was informed of any changes that were made as we progressed further along in our planning. Gabriel valued us as people, not just as customers.
