Yikes. I can't believe I haven't already reviewed my wonderful dentist. Did she say "wonderful dentist"? YES! I've had a lot of experience with dentists, and Dr. Kenna is the only one that (I've learned) I don't have to be afraid of. I know whatever happens he's going to be kind, gentle, and he won't gouge my wallet. His hygienists and dental assistants are equally as gentle. I've been a patient since he first opened this office and I've never been disappointed with the care. His practice has grown leaps and bounds since that time because more and more people have discovered the same thing. Highly recommend! read more

I love my dentist. He doesn't take advantage of me, and when I had my child, he had his practice send flowers! More people need to learn from people like him. His staff is also really friendly. I also have a small jaw and very sensitive teeth, and am currently in a LOT of pain so he's doing my 1st surgery (of 2) next Tuesday. For me to be sedated, is the much better option for everyone, and he made me feel extremely at ease the first time I had it done. Plus, he's going to clean my teeth while I'm under. I'm sure my jaw will hurt for a few days because it is so small, but last time he gave me something and I was back to normal fairly quickly. Definitely recommend him, and his practice! read more

I have been to many dentists in the world having lived in five countries and I am always nervous when I have to go see a new one. Recently I needed a crown and decided to visit Downtown Dental because of the numerous excellent reviews they have received. I was NOT disappointed! From the very first phone call to make an appointment to my last visit for the crown fitting, every one was very friendly and helpful and the service was highly professional. I have had numerous crowns fitted at dentists in other US locations, but the service at DD was by far the best I have experienced anywhere. I'm so happy that I found this conveniently located dentistry! I had my first cleaning today and was pleasantly surprised to find tvs in the rooms with the option to watch Netflix. I chose an interesting show and laid back for my cleaning! They had another tv on the ceiling! What a wonderful idea! Dr. Kenna and Carrie and Eva are amazing. I would never recommend anyone else but them! From the time I walk into there office it's relaxing. I have PTSD with extremely ANXIETY and since moving to Dr. Kenna and Eva he has helped me cope with that and has always taken amazing care of my dental needs. He explains what's he doing he takes his time and also asks if your okay during any treatment. He stands by his word. Eva is such a sweetheart! Love her she understand us moms with busy life's and not enough time in the day. Carrie is amazing at the front desk she is always so sweet and makes she she can help in any way I truly can't not say one bad thing about them. Do you fear the dentist like I do? I know I need a cleaning, but I would rather go a month without chocolate then go to the dentist. Well...listen up...it's because I had yet to discover Downtown Dental. What used to be in my opinion, a trip to hell and back, has now turned into a wonderful situation. Let me just tell you, the waiting area and patient rooms are nicely decorated, and comfy. Televisions are in the patient rooms to distract you from the sounds that would otherwise be like nails on a chalkboard. The staff and dentists are truly pleasant, honest, warm and welcoming. You don't wait too long, appointments are not hard to schedule. Also, I'm gonna be honest...I thought for sure when I drove by this swanky dentist office...I was assured it was going to cost me a fortune. Not true, in fact, they charged me less for the same exact treatment than another dentist out on the fringe of town. So don't be like me, don't avoid your cleanings or dental work, just find the right dentist and place...and you are welcome...this is your place! read more

My first cleaning and check up went well, and the hygienist was very professional and informative. I advised her that I am a nervous dental patient and asked if they offered nitrous, and she said yes. I told her that I would definitely need it when I came to have any fillings and she said that it wouldn't be a problem. When the dentist came to look check my teeth, he informed me that I had 5 cavities that needed repaired and they created a dental plan. I set up my first visit to have my cavities filled. I told the assistant that I needed the nitrous because I get so nervous during the filling part. She informed me that it would cost an additional $76 dollars out of pocket. I was instantly upset because I wasn't informed of the extra cost when I told the hygienist during my first visit. Bait and switch. I was happy with the services and the dentist ended up not charging me for the nitrous that visit. 4/5 because the hygienist wasn't transparent about the hidden costs. I will be finding another practice that offers nitrous at no cost like my previous practice. Great staff and friendly but wasn't pleased with the way that first experience went. read more

If you are only looking for a kind staff, then this is the Dentist for you. However, if you have a lot of dental problems and need extensive care that comes with a lot of pain, you may want to go elsewhere. Dental pain is horrific and a dentist should realize this. Unfortunately, this Dentist is not willing to give pain management that lasts longer then a few days. And unfortunately dental pain after procedures can have you in pain for weeks depending on the person. I am not fearful of the dentist. I am fearful of the pain caused after dental care is done and not having proper pain management. Avoid at all cost if you have extensive pain after dental precedures!! read more
