The office staff are also clueless and someone with half a brain with no experience could have handled my situation better. The last two times I received dental treatment at Apple Seed Family Dentistry, I experienced significant problems afterward that required me to seek care elsewhere. The first time, I had a cavity filled, but the filling affected my bite. My bite did not feel right afterward, and I ultimately had to go to another dental office to have the problem corrected. The second experience was much more concerning. I received a dental injection, and afterward I developed severe difficulty opening my mouth--essentially a locked jaw--that lasted for about a month. Unfortunately, my jaw and mouth have not felt the same since. I have had to seek care elsewhere to have this continued issue get resolved. I understand that complications can happen with dental procedures, but having two separate experiences where I ultimately needed treatment elsewhere has seriously affected my confidence in this practice. I'm posting this review because I think patients deserve to know about my experience and to make informed decisions about where they receive their dental care. Ultimately, I have canceled appointments for my entire family and will not go back to this practice.

The person who answered the phone talked for a good 45 minutes, charged $50 for registration (First time in thirty years, someone at a dental office charged money to make an appointment. I was told that it would apply to any services that are not covered by insurance and will be credited). They kept insisting that I get a CT scan of my mouth and did not address the filling I had gone for. Wasted two hours of my time the first time around and brought me back for the filling and then proceeded to tell me that I will have to pay a little more than a third of the filling cost.
