For some unexplained reason a 5lbs mini yorkie was put in the same play kennel as all the other large bread dogs with apparently no supervision. They were told that they thought he'd been stepped on and had broken ribs, but according to the vet he was covered in dog slobber and suffered a broken neck. Conveniently their security cameras happened to be broken that very day of the incident. Needless to say I will never take our pets there for anything nor will I ever recommend anyone else to.

Unfortunately, I had to make the extremely difficult choice to euthanize both of my cats in the past year. Both were patients of Cinder Rock. I had the opportunity to interact with almost all of the vets on staff throughout this very painful period. They always advocated for my cat first and told me what I needed to know in the most compassionate and caring way. One cat was on fluids for a year, and Cinder Rock was always ready with supplies, even when I had to have them mailed. Once, when I thought it was time to say goodbye, the vet walked me through giving my cat more time with quality of life. When it was time to let them both go, the team at Cinder Rock was there in the most loving and beautiful way. A team came to our home and helped us let go and send our beloved animal family members to their next adventure in the best and most loving and supportive experience. The cremation services from Annie's Healing Hearts, who works with Cinder Rock, were just incredible. The cards and other items we received from both of them after the deaths were so touching and lovely. While it could never be easy to travel the final months and weeks with our beloved animal family members I can think of no better veterinary team members to support you and your family. You will hear the truth, with no apparent thought of profit-making, and you will be supported in all of your animal's health care needs, from birth to death. I paid for the "happy texts" and everything seemed good. I picked my dogs up yesterday and my normally healthy/athletic lab came home emaciated with her ribs visibly protruding. Both dogs have been so stressed and not themselves but most concerning is my dog lost so much weight so fast and not one single person notified me. I've been in touch with their manager and I'm getting a lot of "we're sorry" or "I understand" but it doesn't change my dog lost so much weight in a week and nobody informed me, I paid a lot of $ for people to look after my babies and since talking about it with locals I've heard worse experiences and I'm grateful that my girl came home to me.
