The goal in dropping my puppy off at the daycare was training + help my dog with separation anxiety. My dog has only been to the daycare , 3 Wednesdays, February 07th, 14th and 21st. On Wednesday, February 21st, As per Ez dog's owner, Farrell Augustin, the dogs were drinking water when a fight started between the dogs and one of the dogs pushed my dog with his paw in my puppy's right eye. The dog's claw went inside the right eye of my dog. Since then, My puppy went through eye surgery, he has been taking medication daily + visiting vet every time. The day that the accident happened, Ez dog owner had 10 dogs in his daycare: 2 small size dogs including my puppy, and the rest were medium and big size. The owner didn't even know which dog had attacked my puppy because he said that he turned his back to take his cellphone to capture a picture of the dog's drinking water when everything had happened. I asked the owner if another staff member was with him when the accident had happened and the owner said that the person who works with him at that moment could not handle the situation and he/she has left the daycare to get some fresh air. I never saw this Ez dog's staff at the daycare except the owner. I am addressing the following questions to Ez dog's owner: - How could he accept 10 dogs at his daycare with only one person looking after all the dogs? - How could he train my puppy watching 10 dogs playing at the same time? - How could he do the grooming at the same time of the daycare? - Why don't he separate small breeds from medium and big breeds to guarantee the safety of the dogs?My dog is a 5-month-old Shih Tzu mixed poodle. - How could he have only 1 or 2 staff looking after all the 10 dogs? - Why don't you have a camera monitoring your place? - Where was this second person looking after the dogs that I have never seen? - Why don't he separate dogs by size while offering water? - Do you have insurance if an accident happens? If yes, what your insurance says about the accident with my dog? - When accepting a dog at the daycare, at least observe the dog's behaviour 3 times before giving the dog full access to the daycare. Only 1 day to evaluate a dog for being ready for the daycare is not enough. Imagine if this would happen on the first evaluation day of the daycare? Farrell, you need to create ideas / strategies to build a safe place for the dogs.I can be responsible for my dog, however, you are responsible for building a safe place for the dogs as everyone wants to drop off and pick up their dogs healthy and happy.

He was 6mo old at the time and had been trimmed successfully, no problems by myself 3 X prior to this appointment, with scissors and electric clippers. I thought it was time for him have professional groom. He is the sweetist, trusting, a bit timid but 100% well adjusted puppy - he loves people and dogs alike. Something went very wrong- his ear was nicked in the center w the clippers and the outside of his nose to eyebrows were razored to the skin. The groomer apologized about the nick to his ear which was still bleeding when he was picked up; that took the immediate focus away from the eyes. His eyelashes were gone too, as well as his beard whiskers, which dogs use as sensors. The doggy was traumatized. He came home, curled into a ball and didn't eat a bite for 2 full days.He wasn't right for a week - it took a full 2 weeks for him to be back to his old self. Why am I writing this review now ? I have since taken him to to be groomed and he is terrified of the scissors - its taken patience and baby steps to get him to a point of letting anyone come near him for a grooming. It's been a huge and costly set back - he still cowers if anyone approaches from the from the front to give him a little pat. This may have been a one-off situation; I hope so for the sake of other pups. This experience needed to be shared. This shouldn't happen even once. Had a good chat with the owner Barash; he has a long history in the hospitality business so that assured me he'd look after our dog well. We also were very impressed at the limit on the dog numbers found at WAGSVILLE. He outlined the dogs' daily routine for us - they get an excellent amount of outdoors time whatever the weather, just modified when it's snowy or rainy or hot. We will take our dog over for a stay about once a month and then leave him there for our next big trip in November. He's going to love it there. Nice big kennels in a clean, secure, well heated building - and of course , enough space for dogs to run. Senior citizens and small dogs have their own exercise area, safe from larger more boisterous dogs. Easy to get to on Bowen Island, and the island's veterinarian is close by.

I have had Kaori groom my standard poodle for 13 years and was always grateful that she had a very…read morenice and long term relationship with Kaori. Kaori eventually transferred to BabyD's to groom...and my groom cost DOUBLED with that owner, "the lovely" David. Don't expect good service from him, his lack of Customer Service skills speaks to his priorities...clearly not there to care for dogs, just make money and be nasty when he can. During her last groom with Kaori, I was horrified to get her home and she the extensive damage to her paw in the photo - the black padding was shaved off on one part of her left back paw pad; a huge hunk of tissue was gouged out; and the swollen, painful burned areas around her paw that were puffy they were so inflamed...it was shocking. I texted Kaori the photo and said I understand accidents happen...she just ignored my text and the gruesome photo. But in speaking again with the vet and my breeder, they insisted that was unprofessional and that she should compensate me in some way for the vet bill and a free groom. So I wrote her again asked her to compensate me and expressed that I was not too happy she just ignored my text. She's groomed Annabelle for 13 years...you treat a good client like that? So then I get a call from "the lovely" David and he simply tells me never to come back to their salon...period, end of story. They took no responsibility, denied their responsibility, and had no remorse for all the pain and suffering they caused my dog. Sometimes it takes a long time to find out who you are really dealing with and unfortunately trusting your precious pets with people that don't really care. There is no excuse for bad grooming that inflicts this kind of damage on a dog nor this unkind and unprofessional behaviour when you call them on it. They didn't even care that Annabelle is at the end of her life soon and to change her grooming and relationships at this point is heartbreaking. She such a sweet girl and to see her try to lick her paw so incessantly for weeks is also heartbreaking. Conclusion: don't recommend this business if you don't want nasty surprises. Such a disappointment.

I have always found Elene's team of groomers to be professional and to listen to any directions I have had about my dog's cuts. I am to the point where now I just drop my dog off and hardly say a word as they know based on the season what cut to give him. When I got my new puppy I took him in to make an appointment to get his nails done and to have a bath. Elena asked if I would mind having Barkley come by for a short photo shoot. I agreed. The picture Elena took were simply amazing. So much so that I booked Barkley for another appointment to get a series of photos done since the ladies at work liked them so much.
