    BUYER BEWARE! I…read morebooked a trip for our anniversary and Debbie was helpful to give me some insight and recommendations. Everything was set but we had to cancel about 6 months before our trip as we relocated for work and couldn't make the trip. I called Debbie to cancel or reschedule but couldn't get a hold of her after multiple calls. I sent her a few emails requesting her help and finally got a response after she said it went to her spam folder. It took her over a month to confirm that the trip had been cancelled after "waiting for credit from the hotel". I did receive confirmation that the trip had been cancelled and to let her know what date to reschedule to. I have since tried to contact her via phone, email and Facebook messenger (also Facebook messenger her employees/associates) but I haven't received any response from Debbie. I did receive a response from one of her associates that they would pass along my message but I am still waiting for a reply. My trip has not been rebooked and I am out over $2500. I have read some other reviews and I have emails, documentation and phone records to back up my claims. All I want is to rebook my trip so that I get what I paid for and not get cheated out of money and a great trip. If Debbie reads this, please contact me . . . You have my information!!! I hope you make this right.

    Booked a trip with Debbie to the Dominican Republic (which was through Vacation Express). Due to…read morethe COVID19 issues, when the trip date drew closer (May 28 fly-out) we were given the option to continue with the trip, reschedule, or cancel and receive travel vouchers for the amount paid plus $50 per person. We opted to cancel and take the vouchers. It is not almost a full month later and we still have not received the vouchers - and to make it worse Debbie does not respond to calls, texts, or emails. Which leaves us wondering what is really going on. I don't know how you can run a Travel Agency if you can even respond to your customers. I would strongly advise looking elsewhere for a travel agent - unless you are okay with being ignored and having all of your concerns go completely unanswered. I am not sure how to describe my experience but unprofessional would be too gracious. We are still out all of the $ paid for the trip and have not gotten the travel vouchers promised to us when we canceled. We even tried to dispute the charges on our credit card but that was denied because they came back with documentation stating that it was non-refundable. Stay as far away as you can!

    I very rarely take time to write reviews…read more But, being a lifelong resident of Pittsburgh, I am aware of the difficulties in finding reliable and affordable transportation to and from the airport. I was in dire straits when my brother informed me he needed a last minute, late night ride from the PGH airport to my mom's house for the holiday. I was under the weather, and he could not secure a confirmed ride from the typical ride share companies due to the last minute and after midnight arrival. I was thrilled when my search for last minute airport transportation connected me to Reliant. Not only was George, my contact who answered a direct dial available, but also he was knowledgeable, professional, friendly and funny. I was able to secure the ride for my brother immediately, and the fare was remarkably fair! I received updates on the pickup and delivery of my sibling and feel confident that Reliant has a solid service for typical and unique transportation needs. My brother, who is a world traveler, said that George has a clean car, was on time, didn't fall asleep at the wheel, knew shortcuts, engaged in yinzer babble, and declined an additional tip as I had already settled the bill. Reliant was one of those companies. The first company (Integrity) responded within an hour of the request being made on 20 July. Waited a few days and received no response from Reliant for a quote. Booked Integrity and was very happy that I did. Much to my surprise on 2 August I receive a response from George. Hi, Thank you for inquiring about Reliant. We were unavailable. Oh to have a 100% response rate on yelp is the only thing that I could surmise. Honestly, if it takes a couple of weeks to inform someone that your service is not available even after that request was driven through yelp, then perhaps you should consider deactivating the "Request A Quote" feature on Yelp. If I wanted to talk to someone to book a service, I would go back to 1985, locate a White Pages phone book, and a push button landline phone and waste a few hours.

When we pulled up to the hotel, we parked in an area that the front desk later confirmed was not valet parking and that we were fully permitted to use. Despite this, a man wearing a plain black shirt with no name tag, hotel logo, or other identification immediately approached us and aggressively demanded, "You need to give me your keys now." He never introduced himself, never identified himself as a hotel employee or valet attendant, and never welcomed us to the hotel. Instead, he immediately became confrontational. When I explained that I was not comfortable handing my vehicle keys to an unidentified stranger, he escalated the situation by repeatedly yelling, "Bro, bro, you're not going to disrespect me." We attempted to walk away and continue with check-in, but the harassment did not stop. After checking in, we returned outside to unload our luggage, and he immediately confronted us again. This time, he threatened that if I did not hand over my keys, "there would be consequences." No guest should ever be threatened simply for asking reasonable questions or wanting to verify the identity of someone requesting possession of their vehicle. The front desk staff later confirmed that we had parked in the correct location and acknowledged that this employee's behavior was inappropriate. While I appreciated their honesty, that did not change what had already occurred or the fact that the individual continued to work the front entrance. Unfortunately, the situation only worsened throughout the remainder of our stay. Every time we entered or exited the hotel, this valet employee continued making comments about my group to his coworkers. He would smirk, laugh, and make remarks within earshot of us, often in front of the front desk staff. Rather than feeling welcomed as paying guests, we felt uncomfortable and uneasy every time we walked through the lobby. The hostility that began upon our arrival never truly ended. As an IHG One Rewards Diamond Elite member who spends more than 200 nights each year almost exclusively at IHG properties, I have always chosen IHG because of the professionalism, hospitality, and consistency I have experienced across its brands. Unfortunately, this stay was unlike anything I have ever encountered. In all my years of traveling, I have never felt so disrespected, singled out, isolated, or unwelcome at a hotel. IHG promotes its hotels as places where every guest should feel safe, respected, and valued. That was not my experience at this property. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, I felt that our concerns were dismissed, and the behavior of this employee created an environment where we no longer felt comfortable. This was, without question, the worst hotel experience I have ever had. It has caused me to seriously reconsider my loyalty to IHG after spending hundreds of nights each year with the brand. I hope hotel management and IHG Corporate conduct a thorough investigation into this incident, address the conduct of the employee involved, and ensure that no future guest has to experience the same treatment we did.

The vehicles used by the service are high quality, including BMW 7 series and luxury SUV's. The vehicles are impeccably maintained and are always sparkling clean, inside and out. The drivers are friendly, professional, and skilled at driving whatever route in Pittsburgh and beyond. I recommend this business without hesitation, whether it is for airport transportation, a special occasion, or general transportation needs. This is a VIP car service, and whether you are a VIP or not, they will treat you like one.

I was immediately blown away with the foyer! At check in, there is fruit infused water to quench your thirst. Make sure you keep your room key in hand because you will need it to operate the elevator (once in, hold it against the black box until light turns green and quickly select your floor). The hallways were incredible! And still had their old charm! I even picked up the old fashioned telephone and it rings the front desk! You can use it shall you need something ... if for some reason you cannot enter your room, just pick up the black phone in the hallway and they will come to you (this didn't happen to me, but just a tip if it does). I stayed in room 1470 and absolutely love my view of the gothic architecture of the Union Trust. I looked out my window a million times! The size of my room was huge! I could have done cartwheels all over the place! The WiFi is complimentary for guests. There's cable TV. Maybe other options too but I didn't have my tv on much to know. The water pressure deserves its own special shout out! Holy moly it was heaven! And the brand of washes they had was nice! Usually the conditioner isn't good enough in hotels for my hair but this was just fine! And there's a good blow dryer on the back of the door (I still used my own because I have a lot of hair and it's long BUT had I forgotten it, their hair dryer would have been just fine at 1875 watts. There's a tag on your door that you can hang if you'd like to skip housekeeping for a day and the hotel will donate a meal for doing so .. check out the tag for more info! There's also cards you can put on your bed if you want your bedding changed. I was never bothered in my room by housekeeping. I was never bothered by noise. I never experienced a phony phantom call to my room. (All things I've experienced at other places). You will get a free drink at checkout you can get a beer at the tap room or a coffee at Mellon Square (on site). It is not good for the speakeasy ... and yes, it's a real speakeasy that existed in the 1920s you could access thru tunnels under the city! So cool! On checkout day, the event I attended was going to start early and finish after checkout time. Since I was up late the night before, the front desk said I was welcome to bring my bags down now for bellhop to hold, but they also put me for a late checkout at 1pm so I could come down late the next day too. So partway thru the event just before 1pm I brought down my bags and they held them for the next 90 mins I was there. I parked across the street at the Mellon square parking garage ... Apple GPS marks the garage in the wrong place FYI ... it marks it about a block away but it is directly across the street from the hotel, with the entrance to it being on the cross street. I paid $44 to park there from Thursday around 5pm to Sunday around 3pm. Not bad. They do have valet parking at the hotel too but that is $55 per day I believe. Leaving was sad. I would have liked more time to enjoy this place. I would love to come back sometime! I have nothing bad to say about this place. Wonderful staff and incredible hotel! Thank you for this amazing stay!
