Regardless, I came up here on Record Store Day (today) a little after 11am and there was still a little bit of a line. After a quick 5 minute wait and a wonderful greeting I was in! First time there and certainly not the last. Found the other albums I was looking for and then some. I liked that they separate albums/artists by genre and it makes for super easy finds! Imagine finding Metallica sitting next to Metallica...that's a no from me dawg. (a'la Randy Jackson) Everyone was super helpful and the entire uplifting vibe was great! When we finally played one, it was noticeably warped to the point of skipping and was completely unplayable. The other record was perfect. When we returned to the store, we explained the situation showed the staff a video clearly demonstrating the issue. The employee's tone noticeably shifted when he saw how bad it was, but he still told us they don't accept returns, his only advice was to try home remedies or pay someone to flatten it. For a brand-new purchase, that's unacceptable. We've shopped here on occasion, but after this experience, my wife refuses to buy from them again, worried we might end up with another defective record and no way to exchange it. A good record shop should stand behind what they sell. If anything they should provide the service to flatten vinyls themselves.

This shop means a lot to me and has created great memories for me growing up and even today as an adult. Bringing my kids here is kinda surreal because it feels like I've gone full circle haha anyways. The owners are awesome people and have always treated me with great respect and helped me with anything I was looking for and they rarely don't have MTG singles I'm looking for, ide say they generally have what I'm looking for 85% of the time. And if they don't have it they are always willing to order cards in for me! Their prices are very fair and I love coming here for events I always feel welcomed and never excluded from anything. I also love that they always make sure the kids are included and treat my daughters kindly even sometimes giving gifts like little penny cost Pokemon cards which might not seem like a lot but it's so big to them and that's those kind of things that leave good memories in little children's heads. Thank you Heroes and Horrors for bringing such fun into my life and may it continue to bring joy to my children :)
