Furniture is a little dated but to be expected being an older hotel. The staff that I have interacted with have been nothing but helpful! The only negative that I can say is the parking lot. It's a very dark on the south side. Seems like there are people living somewhere behind the building. The toolbox on my truck was broken into. I had some tools and fuel stolen. Thankfully they never got my dirt bike but tried. Aside from the issues with the parking lot I would definitely stay here again because of how wonderful the on-site team has been.

Husband put on the emergency brake when I went in and to get to our site, it WAS REALLY STEEP down the hill. At the bottom of the HILL you needed to make a sharp turn into your row. Sites are close together when you get to your space, no picnic benches, no pool/hot tub, okay laundry room and the bathroom/showers were dirty. No road noise just sirens. Lots of long term RV's staying at the park. Absolutely NO BIKE RIDING...... People not from the park are walking on the riverfront walkway which is separated by a two foot fence.(They can just hop over that short wood fence! I realize that this park is in the "Portland/Metro area BUT this park was the most expensive park so far on this 2025 trip with no amenities. The road up the hill to get out of the park is steep and you can only turn right (we needed to go left) so we needed to go right about 2 miles before we could make make a U-TURN! Staff very friendly but I will never return because of the reasons listed.

On…read morethe way we were searching a bunch of RV site apps for a good spot that would have an opening that evening. Slim pickings. I turned to my trusty Yelp and found Roamer's Rest RV Park. They had "one spot left" so we took it. It was about 20 min away from my Nephew's house in Beaverton, but we needed a spot and it was late and Yelp reviews were positive. We had no expectations so when we arrived (late), we were pleased by the nice touches at the managers office. Flowers, clear signage, and our packet on the door. Our pull through site was easy to find and easy to access. We were under a big light which provided great light for our domino game. But we did have to cover up our ceiling vents at night to sleep. It wasn't too big a deal. Since we were an end unit we had a bit more lawn to relax on. Rather than moving closer to my nephews house for night 2 we asked to extend here for a second night. They made the accommodation for us by redirecting the next nights guest to a different slip. Very kind. We met some of the neighbors. And we took advantage of the washers and dryers and showers. We were able to show up at my nephews house all clean for his family. I asked the "manager" at the office if the "owner" owned multiple RV parks. Turns out she was the owner's wife. This was their only RV Park. They started it from scratch. Her husband bought an old defunct place on the river and over time turned it into a super clean, very well run RV park. The Stalls look a little close in pictures but there was plenty of room and everyone gets lawn. And, they're on the Tualatin River. I was told that "Tualatin" means "slow moving water" or something close in the Native American language. Overall a great stay. Loved the husband - wife ownership. And the fact they have had the same maintenance and groundskeeper since the beginning. That shows "good people". Definitely Recommended.

( honestly this place could be so romantic for a couple or a girls trip or a family reunion or a holiday) We enjoyed the property so much they had the best music piped into the lobby , there's a small gym. there's a tasting room that is gorgeous(by appointment only) The sweetest little box every single morning delivered to your room, fresh orange juice, pastries, yogurt, fresh fruit . Just wonderful.. This particular property is centrally located to so many of the Willamette wineries. You will not have to go far at all. Lovely! Delightful!…read more Charming Rooms! Welcoming Hosts! Gorgeous Grounds! I could go on and on about this sweet B&B that is in Milwaukie (just Southeast of Portland). Totally has spoiled us for future B&Bs. Terry and Al are amazing! My mom and I were lucky enough to have the whole place to ourselves for 2 whole days! So, we had Terry and Al's undivided attention. We visited with them in the mornings which made the experience so much more personal and inviting. They have a sign on the door that says something like... Enter as Guest, Leave as Friends. So True! Now... this B&B isn't hard to find but you could easily drive right by it in the dark because the house itself sits up on a little hill with several acres of around it. It's nestled into what would seem its own little piece of heaven surrounded by big trees, lush lawns and beautiful landscape complete with a little bridge. (I think I have pictures... I'll dig them up and post them too.) The house has several entrances (exits), but go ahead and enter at any one of them. The main one is at the front of the house which you can drive to... just follow the little road to the right as you go up the hill. (We didn't.... I saw the parking lot up on the left and just parked.) But you can drive to the front, unload and then drive around to the parking area. Anyways... Terry greeted us and showed us around the house. The house is HUGE! So many rooms and they've done a great job decorating it! Antiques mixed in with comfy sofas and chairs. It's a 3 story house... the main floor has the kitchen, porch, parlor and dining room (as well as Terry and Al's living quarters).... the upper floor has the bedrooms... I think I counted 4.... the bottom floor has the Theater... Yes... a Theater with a gi-normous screen and lots of movies to pick from. They even have a popcorn maker down there. But if you want to do it the quick and easy way... they also have microwave popcorn. The Theater has lounger chairs and throw blankets to get all comfy in as you watch your movies. (Mom and I were bummed that we were so busy and so tired each night that we didn't get to have a movie night. Next time...) The guest room floor had a mini bar area that had a coffee maker and tea available all day long. As well as a mini fridge stocked with water and sodas. So nice to have this! Plus they had wine glasses and a wine opener in case you brought your own and wanted to enjoy a glass out on the porch. Oh... the Porch! This is where Mom and I would enjoy our morning cup of Joe. It was so peaceful and relaxing to slowly wake up, sit on the porch and listen to the birds while sipping coffee and reading our books. So Relaxing! (Note... the house sits up off the street so there isn't any street noise and it's surrounded by a wooded area so it feels like you're "getting back to nature".) And then there was Breakfast... Terry really outdoes herself. You have a starter like fruit or parfait and then you have the main course... possibly mini german pancakes or an egg dish. All of it was D-LISH! And the presentation! She really knows how to plate a lovely breakfast. She took breakfast to another level in my book. (BTW... I love breakfast, so I was taking mental notes on how I should present and prepare my own special breakfasts at home.) The Bed.... the comfiest bed I've ever slept in. Even more comfortable than my own at home. The sheets were so soft! I wanted to stay in bed all day. But alas... there were sights to see, family to visit... But I did take a picture of the tag on the sheets so I can try to find the same brand and type at home. I can go on and on... but I won't. If you want to know something specific or more, message me. The facilities were spotless, and the property itself was beautifully maintained. But what really stood out was the amazing customer service. The woman at check-in was incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel so welcome right from the start. Later that evening, we stopped by to buy ice cream and coffee cups and ended up having a lovely conversation with her. We truly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back again soon!

Saw her talking with lot renters. Some friendly and some appeared to be curt with her. Maybe they were in a bad mood. She has a very pleasant demeanor. It does seem like a family oriented community. They have a coffee bar in the office, clean showers, ample washer/dryers and some exercise equipment in the building. I have a few more options to look at but I think I will like it here.

The park is located next to a large shopping mall that is within easy walking distance. Near the entrance are several restaurants, gas stations & fast food places. Both the cable TV & the wi-fi are decent. With very nice laundry & restroom/shower areas. They do have a pool too, but it was closed during our stay. There are two fenced areas for your doggie family members. If you're staying for a long period of time, the office accepts mail & packages from UPS & others. Moving onto the bad. The lots are on the small side, especially for those large rigs with the side patios. They'll still fit, but it's close. We've been here twice before & it seems the park isn't as green, lush & pretty as it was in the past. Quite a few "full-timers" on site. (Maintenance crew?) Their RV areas are cluttered & appear unkempt. A real distraction to the park. As I said earlier the pool was closed, but we saw two dead rodents at the bottom of the pool. I guess they didn't heed the "..No Lifeguard On Duty.." warning signs. Seems to me, even if it's closed, they should do checks on the pool. Maybe twice a day or so. I will say they are head & shoulders above the other RV parks found in the area. When we come back this way again, I'm sure we'll stay here.
