Our dog itched like crazy after the last two times because they apparently dont rinse him off well. the last time--and this will be the last time I take our dog there--they barely washed him. They didn't wash his head at all--there was still dirty in his white beard. They didn't even trim up his head--nothing--even tho I asked them to trim his head. Didn't trim his tail like I asked. Basically washed his body, shaved his body and that was it. i'm done with them. Our doesnt mind being groomed, so not sure why they didn't trim him. Horrible. Absolutely horrible. Its like they don't even pay attention to details.

I have had six or more Great Pyrenees (Pyr) dogs (I know the pros and cons). I have one now and we would like to add another to our family. I saw that The Sheboygan Humane Society had a Pyr that was up for adoption, so I spent the hour filling out their on line application. No one contacted me. So we went to the Sheboygan Humane Society to see the dog. I brought the family and our dog. We met the dog. Loved the dog. It's a Pyr. We asked if we could have our dog meet the shelter dog to make sure that they interacted well. They indicated that it would have to get approved and they would call us to set up a day and time. OK???? So.... we waited 4 days and no called us back. I left messages and finally they called me back and said that they would NOT allow the dog to go to a home that had other pets. This dog had been placed by the Humane Society four time and was returned by each family. The complaints of the previous owners were : Apparently, the dog does not like to be caged for 8 hours a day. It does not like cats and I don't like cats (smart dog). It barks. Pyrs Bark. It likes to stay outside (vs 8 hours in a cage). Seems one person, who has not met me, can determine I am not qualified. Is this the same person who place the dog in 4 homes of unqualified individuals?

I picked up my puppy from petsmart last week and he just was not acting right. I thought he was…read morejust worn out, but when we got home, I noticed that he could not open his eyes. My father is a doctor so he came over and it turns out he had a horrible chemical conjunctivitis. Vet visit and $200 later I was told the same. I called Petsmart. They claim that absolutely nothing happened and they did not notice anything at all. Won't accept any sort of responsibility. If they didn't notice anything then it's straight up negligence.
