We hired Katie as our doula and unfortunately, although she was supposed to be on call for us starting at 36 weeks, when I actually went into labor (past my due date), she did not answer her phone. We tried repeatedly to contact her via text and phone for over 3 hours. At that point, she finally answered her phone and we asked her to come out to assist us. She said she would be there in about an hour but didn't show up until 2 hours later with no text or call to let us know she was running behind. She missed the entirety of our labor and the birth of our child, thoroughly defeating the purpose of having a birth doula. To her credit, she did provide a partial refund for the services she did not provide, but we felt that the refund should have been in full since she didn't provide the services we had agreed upon. I made several attempts to reach out to her regarding my dissatisfaction but she refused to respond to me. Overall, we were incredibly disappointed by this experience and we would not be able to recommend Katie to anyone. This might have been a one off goof on her part, but I would have expected her to make more an effort to fix things on the back end. After all, everyone makes mistakes, and if it had been my mistake and I was supposed to be on call and didn't hold up my end of the bargain, I would have been mortified enough to provide a full refund to my disappointed customer.

They are knowledgeable, emotionally supportive, and genuinely caring. They made me feel safe and respected the entire time. They have solutions for everything and did so well educating me on health, nutrition, my body, pregnancy, and the delivery process. Every part of my experience with them felt intentional and thoughtful, from the amazing childbirth classes with Brooke, to their newborn specialist Diana who was such a huge support after delivery. Anita was always so helpful and kind as well. I always felt listened to, never rushed, and like I mattered to them. They went above and beyond for me in ways I'll never forget, and because of them I had not just one, but two of the most beautiful birth experiences I could have EVER imagined. I've never felt as safe and loved as I did here. I truly don't know how I would've survived without them. I feel beyond blessed to have found this birth center. They changed my life and I will forever be grateful.

It was the best decision we made for us and our baby. My labor and delivery ended up being the total opposite of what we had wanted/planned and Kaitlyn was the absolute best coach and comfort during the whole experience. Not only did she educate us on what to expect, but she made us feel confident as decision makers and parents - before our girl was even here! My birth experience was intense and I cannot imagine going through it without Kaitlyn by my side. There truly isn't a better advocate for mom and baby than a doula. We learned that the hospital and staff (while they were great) just aren't as invested in you as a family. Kaitlyn helped us see a tongue tie issuse as well which after we got corrected literally changed our breastfeeding experience when it was looking impossible. I was initially introduced to her through a friend, but I strongly believe God also aligned us in perfect harmony. We began our journey with a great consultation. Then, there were home visits where Ebon'Nae thoroughly explained the birthing process to my husband and me -- patiently answering any and all questions we had. She also took time to come to an important midwife appointment with me where we discussed my desired birth plan. Throughout my experience, Ebon'Nae offered everything from tools and advice to prayers which really helped me to move through my pregnancy with a sense of ease leading up to the birth. For the actual birth, she was right there by my side physically and mentally coaching me through every moment while going the extra mile to visually capture some of the best moments as well. Mayte provided me with unbiased information i needed to make informed decisions on certain things during my pregnancy that could have harmed me or my baby. The night i went into labor we messaged back and forth- and called a few times. We weren't sure if i was in actual labor but we knew something was going on so we met at the hospital. Right away she could tell that my baby was not in the right position so she used rebozo techniques on me. Multiple times, because the baby kept turning. She also helped me keep calm or return to calmness during contractions- reminding me why i didnt want the epidural and that i could keep laboring. I was almost there. After my boy was born she also stayed to make sure i could latch him on.  She did an amazing job in helping me achieve the birthing experience i wanted. I am very satisfied with my birth in regards to Mayte and her help as a doula, and a friend.
