Three years ago, my regular cleaners told me that they could no longer work with me (moving out of town). I interviewed a few companies, but Angie really impressed me because I could tell she was organized and committed to providing a top notch service. At the same time, however, I had a friend who cleaned homes and was in need of a job, so I alternated between her and Angie's crew. Angie always could help me out in a pinch and her cleaners are super fast but very thorough (the benefit of having a team of cleaners rather than one person of course). I used her services sporadically throughout the past three years and she always came through for me, even tried her best when she was completely booked. This is crucial when you are relying on income from a STR and need last minute reservations when they come through. When my friend gave her notice this past spring, I actually felt like it was going to be ok, because I had a company that had proven themselves to be dependable and loyal to their customers. I did not appreciate get bad mouthed by them. At times, they were very rude. They did not know this, but due to a chronic illness, I can't manage to keep my apartment clean on my own. Their rudeness truly rubbed me the wrong way. I did not call to follow up with bi- monthly cleanings, and they did not contact me.

I made the appointment a month in advance over the phone. When the day came, my cleaner did not. I called a few times with no response, after checking their facebook and twitter accounts, I learned that they were closed that day (election day) but I did have an appointment. I was contacted back after messaging them on twitter and Facebook and after apologies about the mix-up and a promise of a free hour of cleaning, they arrived the next morning before all my guests arrived. They arrived without cleaning products (which they then left to buy at a nearby store) and were a few minutes late (which when you are at the start of wedding festivities can be quite stressful). Cleaning took about 2 hours and he did a wonderful job and was very friendly. The actual cleanliness of the house was 5 star. The cleaner did a very thorough job and even wiped off baseboards and windowsills, things I usually forget. The ceiling fans were dusted and the floors mopped. I would use this company again and hope that the appointment process will be smoother next time, and that they arrive with supplies ready to go.

I was very clear up front--I told them how many windows I had and that my house is raised five feet. They quoted me $200, which felt fair for a full, detailed job. I agreed. They showed up on time and said the job would take about an hour and a half. But 45 minutes later, the technician rang the doorbell to say he was finished. That already seemed too quick to have cleaned all the windows and scrubbed the frames of a raised house with around 18 windows--but I was on a work call, so I said I'd check the work when I was done. When I finally walked around to inspect everything, I saw that while the window panes looked okay, the frames were still visibly dirty. I asked him to come back out and showed him several areas that hadn't been cleaned. That's when he told me he had only cleaned the middle of the windows. I reminded him that one of the main reasons I hired him was because he explicitly said he cleans the frames too. His response? "Do you want me to do all of them?" I was floored. Of course I do--that's literally what I hired him for. He got back to work, and as I watched from inside, I realized he didn't have a ladder. My house is raised, and some of the windows are 12 feet off the ground--there's just no way you can scrub those frames from the ground. When he finished again, I invited him in and asked him to open a few windows so we could both look at the still-dirty frames. I asked him directly if he had a ladder. He said yes. I asked again if he had used one. He finally admitted he hadn't. At that point, I was too frustrated to keep going back and forth. I told him I'd pay him half and let it go. To his credit, he was respectful and receptive when I gave him feedback. But that doesn't change the fact that I didn't get the service I was promised. Hopefully it was a good lesson learned for him going toward with his new business.

I'm a neglectful housekeeper and I knew this job was bigger than me. I called on a Saturday and had Kenia here on a Sunday ON HER DAY OFF!! She did an amazing job. Dusted, vacuumed, mopped, cleaned surfaces and appliances(outer surfaces), cleaned sinks and shower, dusted baseboards and organized. She was here for 7 hrs ! I only have a 1B/B 800 sf shotgun. The cost for a deep clean was $140 which is very reasonable and the cheapest of the 4 comparisons I made. As a side note the owner, Halfi, did an excellent job of arranging this in short order time. Definitely worth the 5 star review!
