Fire who ever bought these cabs, getting into them is like a lab crawling into a station wagon.

My driver was Taylor her cab was neat and clean had relaxing music on the radio somehow she made it from moorehead to stamart then to my house without having to stop at any lights she seemed very comfortable driving on snow covered roads which made me feel comfortable was very satisfied with the fee i had to pay taylor was kind respectful and patient i couldnt have asked for a better experience my only regret is not having a bit more cash cause she deffinatly deserved more then the tip i was able to provide appreciate you taylor and thanks again!! read more

Every time myself or somebody in my family has driven with Doyle's they felt like they were lucky to make it to their destination alive! The drivers drive too fast. They're very reckless and they don't obey the laws of the road. It's just scary. read more

I was picked up at 2510 n Broadway on Monday Jan 27 between 7:37pm and 8:10 pm by taxi driver 84 . he called in my card # because the card reader wasn't working. I was charged 20.80 for a 8.00 ride after reporting it I only got 8.00 credit back on my card . so the driver gave himself a 5 tip . guess steeling from customers is acceptable from there country. That extra money was going to be for part of a mortgage payment. The first time I called they saw the 20.40 charge and said they would take care of it . the second time they couldn't find it . how convenient. Hope that driver enjoyed it. The cab #19 we just took smelled so BADLY of Cigarettes that we smell now and that's unexceptionable. The driver was rude and the smoke clearly exited the cab when the ​ was open. The driver had her window cracked the entire ride. Don't ever send this cab to pick us up again. read more

Very poor service. Drivers are very careless of the rules of the road, safety of their passenger and safety of surrounding drivers. This taxi service is not a friendly one either. Drivers often engage in road rage regardless of passenger on board or not. Extremely unprofessional call center as well. If you call to complain about a Doyle's cab driver they in-fact insult you in whatever way they can. Note next time you see a Doyle's cab the cab will have some sort of damage to it. This is not due to surrounding drivers but rather the cab drivers themselves, highly recommend avoid Doyle's cabs if you see one. They will not take responsibility for their own actions. read more

Frequent traveler. Called the night before to arrange 5am ride to airport from South Fargo. Call answered right away and courteously. Received a confirmation text the next morning confirming my reservation and that a taxi was dispatched. Received a link via text a moment later allowing me to track taxi location via map and providing the ETA. Driver arrived 5-min early. Received another text confirming the taxis arrival. Taxi was clean and pleasant. Driver was quiet but nice. Quick drive, reasonable price ($21) and pleasant experience. I recommend and would use Doyle again w/o hesitation. read more

Doyle's must have new owners or are just hiring better people. I have mostly used their female drivers who are clean and talkative. My driver asked that I review HER to the company and cares how I enjoyed my ride asking if I had any music I wanted to listen to or if the temperature of the cab was ok. We've used Doyle a number of times in the past. They must have some new rule where they will not touch your luggage or even get out of the car to adjust the seats for larger bags. They left my 79 year old mother to fend for herself returning from a cruise with large bags. The same thing happened to me however I'm able to handle the bags. Don't recommend if you're expecting any kind of assistance with your bags. Also the driver for my mom would not turn down the radio when she asked. Huge disappointment. read more

Pre-booked a ride 9 hours in advance. When it was time for our ride no one ever showed. The app said they could not find a driver. Trying to call to talk with an operator is a joke. No one answers! As we walked the 4+ miles to our hotel with kids. We saw 4 of these cabs! Will never recommend. One star is too good. read more

This was the only cab that answered my call at 3 in the morning when I came to Fargo to visit family! They came quickly and when it was time for my return trip, again they came promptly even though it was early in the morning. And the best part is they offered and waited with me until the Amtrak station opened so I would be safe. Great customer service like this is hard to find! read more

I needed a ride you are this week. The cab driver did not wear a mask. When asked to he declared he was sitting behind a barrier. The barrier had multiple places where air could leak through. Plus, he had been sitting in that van with the windows closed and the barrier open when he picked us up. so, go complete vehicle was infused with his breath If you still wear a mask. The back windows could not be opened for air circulation. I was in desperate need for a ride to the ER or I would have rejected the ride. Horrible customer service during the pandemic. read more

I only give it ONE star because the drivers, in my experience, have been decent. The dispatch people are extrememly rude, even on a good day. They mumble and talk really fast, then get irritated when you can't understand them. I'm sorry, I don't speak Taxi, please slow down and speak up so I can understand you. They aslo hang up on you mid-sentence, once they know the address where you are. It's bizarre they run their business like this. I've not found ONE 'good' review about this company, and all the complaints are the same. I feel like they know that the people who call them are down-and-out and are calling out of desperation/lack of choice. They take advantage of this and treat their customers like crap. IDK. It's crazy, can't wait until I get a vehicle so I don't have to gravel at their rude/unempathetic/impatient/disrespectful feet. read more

I changed lanes in traffic one day, and the Doyle Checker Cab behind me didn't like that I was in front of him. I looked in my rearview mirror to see the driver giving me the finger. The light turned green and the guy passed me and gave me the finger again. He happened to turn the same direction I was going and pulled into a parking lot. I pulled in beside him so I could get the phone number off the side of the cab. Then a customer got out of the van and tried to pick a fight with me. While that was going on, the cab driver called back to the office and told them his version of the story. So when I finally did call the office, a woman picked up the phone and shouted at me for cutting off her driver, would not give me her name or the name of the General Manager, and hung up on me. By coincidence, the same guy in the same cab takes a little nap in his cab every morning about 10:15 in a parking lot right down the street from where I work. He frequently leaves one bare foot sticking out of the window. I wish I could upload photos, because I have dozens. Calling Doyle is like asking the dregs of society to give you a ride. We are in the cab right now. We specifically said to go through town he decides that we don't know what we are talking about and tries to get us on the highway. We had to yell at him to take us through town. This isn't even the worst ride I've ever had but this was the final straw when it came to not putting in my review. I am sick and tired of not going the way I want to go. It's the midd of winter and icy the highway isn't the safest place to be on and I know for a fact that it is actually cheaper to get to my place going through town. Was. immediately called back by employee and told he didn't appreciate being hung up on (which was not the case) and told us our cab was canceled. He was beyond rude. We reached the front of the building but the driver got lost and could not locate its back! ! Hi. My husband was being discharged from Roger Maris Cancer Center earlier this month after his regular 5 day chemo infusion. It happened to be the day of the blizzard conditions. He was picked up at the hospital around 5 p.m. He received no help from the driver with luggage or belongings. He uses a cane to help with walking and balance. This was his 6th round of chemo. When he arrived home at 6 p.m. he had no help getting out of the cab or with luggage. I ran out and assisted him with his belongings and closing the doors on the van. The driver made no effort at all to help. My husband is 75 and chemo is no walk in the park. Maybe the drivers need a lesson in common courtesy. read more

Called last night for a cab, guy showed up and couldn't find the place and I missed the phone call. My buddy called wondering where our cab was and the lady on the phone goes "Ummmm who are you and what is your address"? Responded with "who are you and why does it matter who I am", "She responded with "Well who are you?" like she was five years old and he responded "wow, typical Doyle's customer service huh?", then she hung up on him. Doyle's current reputation as a company in the FM area is that its customer service is extremely rude, and that the only reason people still call is because there is a shortage of cabs in the area and a lot of times they are the only ones who's lines aren't busy..... Plus at about 2am in the middle of winter in downtown Fargo, you are pretty much desperate for a ride. If there was another company that could sport the same number of taxis as Doyle's, with average customer service, it would literally put Doyle's out of business in a year. read more

I have used this company off and on for years the drivers I have had have been great and gone out of their way for me 5 stars for me !

The bad reviews on Yahoo deterred me from trying out this place first, but the other cab company's phone number went to a full mailbox. I was about to call Doyle's, when I saw one of their cabs going by. Waved it down and got in. It's a cab company. They got me where I was going without any detours, and I was still alive at the end of the ride. But...what's with the New York prices? $4.50 to get in the cab???
