Because before the vacation, we needed a cab ride to the airport and I looked at reviews that others had written about various cab companies in the area. Many of them got some negative reviews - including Lucky 7 Taxi. Consequently, I booked a cab to the airport from a cab company other than Lucky 7 Taxi. That cab ride was OK - not outstanding and not terrible - just OK. As the plane was landing in Fargo, I was thinking about calling the same cab company for our ride back home. However, as I rode down the escalator to claim my baggage, there were a couple of guys standing at the bottom, advertising their Taxi services. One of them was Steve who was working for Lucky 7. I don't remember what the other cab company was because I decided to give Lucky 7 a try myself and see if I agreed with the negative reviews that others had written three weeks earlier. I'm very glad I did so! Steve made arrangements to get his cab as close to the baggage claim door as possible and helped us get our 3 big suitcases and 4 carry-ons loaded into the cab. The cab was a full size Lincoln with very clean leather interior. The interior of the cab was very nice and warm which was important to us because it was -20 F outside. Steve was pleasant to visit with but didn't wear out our ear-drums. He was familiar with the Fargo/Moorhead area and was able to fill us in on what had been going on during our vacation. When we arrived at our destination, he helped me get our luggage from the cab to the front door. I gave him a well-deserved good tip and made note of his name so I could include it in this review. ANDREW, you're awesome! Super helpful and really understanding! I needed route information for a family member who was stuck at the hospital and needed to get back to their hotel. They were from out-of-town and so am I, but I was able to give ANDREW the starting/ending addresses and he gave me detailed info for bus routes/times/fares that my family member could use. Sadly, she found alternate transportation so I have no idea how good MATBUS actually is, but A+ on the dispatch side. FYI, if you're from out-of-town, don't bother with trying to decipher the maps that MATBUS provides on their website. Even knowing exactly where my family member was going, I totally couldn't understand which lines she needed to take so calling dispatch was my only option, but like I said SUPER HELPFUL people!

Being a frequent occupier of their passenger seat, I even know most of them by name. Only on the rarest of rare cases I've had to wait for few minutes but I don't hold it against them. Fargo, being a fast growing city, is very demanding and they've recently boosted their fleet to match the demand. Barry, their boss, is a very nice guy and has provided nothing but top service to me. I will continue using them until I get myself a car. I recommend anyone visiting or in Fargo to make use of them.

I called FM and they told me they'd be there in 20 minutes and call me when they got there. Half an hour later, nothing. I tried calling them and it went to voicemail twice. Broke down and downloaded Uber, the Uber was there in 5 minutes. FM never did show up. And this is why Uber is putting taxi companies out of business.

We went with the room category down, which still has a separate whirlpool that's not in the restroom though it doesn't have a TV & fireplace specifically for said whirlpool. A fair sacrifice for a quiet room. The room was clean and spacious, with woodland creature adornments (moosetrack room). Breakfast was not worth stopping for. One pan of hot items, apples, and sweet stuff - even the blueberries were sweetened. (If you're there for the evening reception, that's definitely worth attending.) There were ample towels & outlets. I wish I had that fitness room and sauna room at my house lol. The front desk staff were also really very kind and nice. I liked there was a bar/restaurant on the main floor right by check in too. And they had a pool table on the main floor too!! So much to do, the space was utilized perfectly. Fair pricing and so clean and airy. I'll be back when I'm in Fargo again.

This past winter, I had knee surgery and wasn't able to drive for more than two months. But, I had Physical Therapy scheduled three times a week and needed reliable transportation. I'd call Lucky 7 Taxi to schedule my pick up times, they were easy to work with, always on time and were very helpful with me and my walker. They helped me with doors and if parking lots or sidewalks were icy, they helped me to make sure that I safely got where I was going without slipping or falling. All of the drivers were pleasant. Some liked to chat, some were quiet. But all were polite and helpful. Julie was especially helpful and I appreciated the special help she gave me at the beginning when I really needed it. She really spoiled me! I felt as if the Town Cars were all in pretty good condition and usually clean. Julie's car's were always the cleanest! I'm driving again, but if I ever need a taxi, I will definitely use Lucky 7 and I will recommend them to my friends. read more

I haven't seen one of of their Lincoln Clown Cars cruising around Fargo for years now, and I sincerely hope this means that they went out of business. Horrible outfit. Back in 2015, one of their drivers ran a red light & destroyed the front of my car. My insurance company (Progressive) had a very difficult time getting Lucky 7 to provide their insurance info. The driver who destroyed my car had numerous traffic violations on his record already. Why did you even hire him, Lucky 7? I should have sued you. What a slimy company. read more

BEST TAXI IN FARGO!! They picked me up after having horrible service with another company. Fair rate, car clean and smelled nice and the driver was nice and made my ride amazing and would use them every time and refer them to anyone who use taxi service. read more
