Since I moved to Fargo about 8 months back, FM is the only service I've used and I never regret any of my trips. Drivers are very friendly. Being a frequent occupier of their passenger seat, I even know most of them by name. Only on the rarest of rare cases I've had to wait for few minutes but I don't hold it against them. Fargo, being a fast growing city, is very demanding and they've recently boosted their fleet to match the demand. Barry, their boss, is a very nice guy and has provided nothing but top service to me. I will continue using them until I get myself a car. I recommend anyone visiting or in Fargo to make use of them. read more

I resisted signing up for Uber for a long time because I have a lot of objections to their business practices. Last night there was a blizzard, my car got stuck in my driveway, and I had to get to work. I called Doyle's and they told me they were booked and to try again in half an hour. I called FM and they told me they'd be there in 20 minutes and call me when they got there. Half an hour later, nothing. I tried calling them and it went to voicemail twice. Broke down and downloaded Uber, the Uber was there in 5 minutes. FM never did show up. And this is why Uber is putting taxi companies out of business. read more

The wait time was longer than expected however the driver "maho" (I'm taking a wild guess on spelling here) called me and was very communicated with me throughout the entire time. Worst taxi experience in my life! I called and the driver said he is coming in 10 minutes. He waited me for 40 minutes, and didn't show minimum courtesy of receiving multiple calls from me during that waiting period. Nope! Never ever I am going to use this taxi service. read more

I would give a negative review if possible. I called for cab about 3pm they said it would be ab 10-15 minutes. I waited for 45 minutes, I finally had someone pick me up. They never did show up as far I know. read more

Do you trust a cheating taxi driver? I was cheated by a FM Taxi driver on the early of May. I need to have a taxi to airport, So reserved a FM taxi. The driver with a minivan came 20 minutes later tha the time I booked. After a few minutes, the driver ( he said he came from Houston, TX) said his taxi meter was not working. He then restarted it and manually inputed 26 miles after he pretended checked the distance from his phone. He then changed the miles to 23 (yried to do me a favor?) and asked $34. I paied it with a tip ($40). AFter I was waiting in airport, I checked the distance, too. The real distance is 11 miles! I felt I was cheated. I guarantee I will never call this Taxi company again. i wish you will do the same thing to protect yourself. This is not Fargo style of doing business. Fargo is still a clean city so far. read more

Horrible service. Their suggested app said someone would be there to pick me up in 13 minutes. 10 minutes passed and I got a call saying it would be 5 minutes. 30 minutes later I called and was told the car was almost there. Another 20 minutes later I got a ride from someone else and cancelled my request. Will not bother to call again. read more

This place is whack. We called for a taxi that never showed up, but walked a few blocks away & flagged one down. We had 2 stops, which I know is inconvenient to them, but we leave big tips. Before the 2nd stop, they stop at a gas station. huh...not that big of a deal I guess. I'll go with it. On the way to our 2nd stop, the drivers phone rings for a ride request & he hands it to me & says "You answer it." Is this even a real taxi service? I think the driver used UBER to scope me out, picked me up, canceled my UBER ride (5$) then asked for my taxi fare afterwards. The driver refused to give me the company number afterwards. read more

AWFUL!!! I scheduled a pickup for 4:45 am, he got here at 4:20 and when I told him I wasn't ready he gave me attitude and insisted I said 4:30 when I called (which I can assure you I didn't). So I rushed to get ready and when I went outside he wasn't there so I called someone else. Then the FM guy called me back and asked where I was, apparently he had gone to the wrong door, anyway when I told him I had another taxi he cursed me out. Flew into the Fargo airport. Had to choose a taxi service, there were 2 gentlemen w/ taxi signs both from different companies. I went to check my luggage first then went back to find that there was 1 guy left, FM. His sign said he took credit card. As I approached him I asked specifically if he did and he said yes! He said he would grad the taxi pull it up while I grabbed my bags. I went out to meet and as I loaded my bags in the trunk he closed the trunk and said to me. Can you go back in and use the ATM to get cash my system is broken! First off I was not going to leave my luggage and also I clarified before I committed! So I looked past him at the next cab co. He saw me contemplating and he said never mind get in. I said are you sure and knew he was trying to scam! I was ready to defend myself if there was risky business here! I am still pretty paturbed that he did a sly move, but I paid by credit, he had an iPhone credit card swiped and it worked! read more

Update to my previous post -- the owner of FM Taxi just contacted me from Milan (he was on vacation) with a sincere apology. I was touched by his dedication to customer service and am willing to try again. Other drivers were excellent, so I can only hope that he finds more employees who meet his standards. Original post- I gave FM Taxi another chance after I mistyped my address on my last trip and--despite dispatch calling me to confirm--updated information never made it to my driver, causing me to have to arrange an alternate ride to the airport because the cab was so late. Unfortunately, my hope that they would rise to the occasion was dashed when the driver of my pre-arranged taxi for 3:45 am was 10 min late AND insulted me when I entered the taxi. I was not charged for the ride, but on a business trip, I would pay a premium to know that my taxi would show up on time and would treat me with a basic level of respect. Some of the drivers are good, and of course some are not. One girl answered the phone and was so rude she hung up the phone in the middle of the conversation. Then I got picked up by her and saw not only was she ugly on the in inside but outside as well. I get on here and see that she posted a positive comment as a customer and said how amazing the company was....SHM. I met this one driver and he told me he was the owner, and I should tell him what I thought about the company. After I explained to him about the girl he said I wasn't the only one who complained about her. I later realized this guy was lying about owning the company and that he was just another driver. Stay far away from this company. I called, gave them the address I was at, was told I would get a call in 15 minutes. I called at 1:15am. I waited until 1:45am and called back with no answer. I walked quite a distance to a gas station, called Doyles cab service and they were there in 5 minutes. Very nice conversation, just a nice experience from Doyle as this was my first cab ride. I will recommend Doyle to all my friends from now on and tell them to stay far far away from this fm taxi service. read more

Only as a last resort. A 7 ish minute ride from the Swanson Health Products campus to my house near K-Mart cost 20 dollars. Keep your company credit. The driver was blaring talk radio the entire time, which made asking him what the hell he was doing damn near impossible. Read the reviews. Believe them. read more

Choose this taxi services if you do not have anything else to turned in to. Most of the drivers are immigrants mostly from Somalia I think. They will try to scam you by choosing a long route. From Hector Airport to my apartment, taking the the shortest route will cost me around 13$ when I used some independent taxi service with a American driver. But when I used FM taxi one time I had to pay 25$. Even after I said to him what route to take. They will act as they do not understand. The other thing that they will do is not having change. So for a 12-13$ trip you will end up paying 20$. And the customer service is horrible. After I said some driver charge me more they promised me a refund which I still didn't got. read more

i am a part of the management team at a local motel here and called for a guest, the guy was rude on the phone and told me if the guest was not ready and in lobby ready he would not wait. i called him again and told him that the guest was now in the lobby, he was rude again. guest gone out to the cab cam back in and said he was pissy at her as well and refused his service. the driver call back to me at the motel and told me not to call them again for he was not going to waste his time.... i said no problem and now refuse to ever call them again. i have never been treated so rude.... they are no worthy of any stars but negitives read more
