Included in the planning stage was a re-schedule due to COVID. They were completely understanding and so easy to work with during that difficult time in planning our new date. Andrew was so responsive with all of our emails and phone calls. As for the reception, all went without a hitch! Andrew came to us as soon as we got there to confirm the order of events and pretty much guided us through the whole reception on what will work well. We had a same day edit to show from our videography and they coordinated perfectly together to get that played. Andrew asked us for our song preference and we pretty much told him to take the ball and run with it, and that's exactly the what happened. It was a great mix to get everyone of all ages up and dancing. The best part...we were able to talk to each other and hear over the music, we did not have to scream which was a huge concern. I needed to update professional headshots and got the package with makeup (well-worth it and a must-have I think) with Janelle as the make-up artist and Samantha as the photographer- a superstar team. It's tough to come up with a 40th birthday gift for an estranged spouse. These days, the only thing we have in common is our children, so it seemed fitting to include them somehow. In a rare moment of clarity, I found a way to get this done, give business to a worthy photographer ( ahem, and friend) at the same time. I posed the idea to Tom, to do a photo shoot of my kids as a present for my wife and his energy and enthusiasm made me immediately think I made the right choice. We discussed locations and concepts based on what I had seen of his work. Tom had some fantastic ideas and was very receptive to my own ideas. Tom feels that the comfort of the subjects is important, so we decided to do an outdoor shoot at the park in the neighborhood where they grew up. The day came and although Tom had nothing to do with the weather, I couldn't help but feel that with the most beautiful fall day I'd ever seen, Tom has an in with Mother Nature. The shoot went flawlessly. He worked great with usually difficult kids and I could tell they felt at ease. My kids are into cosplay, where they like to dress up as their favorite characters. They loved that Tom incorporated their costumes into the shoot and couldn't wait for the pictures. And what pictures they were. I've never seen my kids look so good. The shots were classy, true and fun. I am more than pleased with the results and they were a big hit with everyone who got one. Tom uses an easy method for getting you your pics. He sets up a web page where you can view all shots and order them however you wish ( mugs, cards, photos, digital, etc) . With one click, a picture will be in your hands within hours. The overall experience with Tom, was one that I can't say enough good things about. If you have the need for such services and you are in the greater Philadelphia and South Jersey area ( or even beyond- it's worth it) make sure you check Tom out. He even made me look good...and that's saying something.

All I can say is wow. Just wow. As many brides can attest, planning a wedding makes you realize…read morethat you have opinions on things that you never thought you'd have an opinion on. For me, that was wedding photos. There are a lot of photographers who produce highly stylized - and to be clear, very beautiful - photos. Some give off a dark, glamorous vibe; and others use a sort of tan/whitewashing filter. While I really like those looks, for my wedding, I wanted a photographer whose photos looked less stylized, and more like really good quality, truer-to-life pictures. When I saw Sweetwater's pics, I knew I'd found my photographer...and that was reaffirmed after I chatted with Dutch, and after he helped my husband and me make decisions about where to take photos, what we wanted to capture, etc. On the day of the wedding, Dutch and his team were AWESOME. They were organized, attentive, and kept everyone on track. They were also so fun to work with, and they more than played along with the very goofy sense of humor that my husband and I have. Everyone in my wedding party was talking about them, saying how great they were, and for good reason. They killed it. As for the photos themselves, I've gotten so many compliments since posting them. As self-conscious as I am, they made me feel so beautiful, and I cannot recommend booking them enough. Dutch and his team at Sweetwater are true professionals who know what they're doing and know how to herd tough wedding parties with a firm, yet warm approach.
