I had a great experience bringing in my 2013 Subaru Forester. The dealership had told me in connection with an oil change that the CV joint was bad and needed replacement. There had been oil spots underneath the car. I brought the car to DPG and they diagnosed it properly. It was not the CV joint leaking but a slow transmission leak through a loose clamp! I am glad to have found a reliable, honest, and knowledgeable garage and will be using this for the repairs of my car going forward. read more

Daniel Goss is an honest dealer and extremely helpful. I bought a Subaru from him and he fixed everything on the vehicle before giving it to me (timing belt, head gasket, throw bearing, etc.). The day after I bought it, he asked me to bring the car in so he could take it for a drive to make sure everything was still running alright. That day, his technicians noticed that a sensor in one of my tires was dead and they replaced it for no fee even though the sale had already been completed the day before and could have charged me extra for it. He even got all my in-transit paperwork filled out and completed as I was taking the car out of state. He begged me to check the oil on my way cross country and to let him know that I made it safely. Daniel made my first vehicle purchase very smooth and comfortable. He stated a price that seemed very fair when I first inquired about the vehicle and let me take it on multiple test drives. He answered all of my questions thoroughly and even gave me tips on finding a good Subaru when I was originally just passing through on my way to another dealer. He was friendly and patient despite all the questions I asked as someone who knows little about cars. He takes his business personally and ensures that every car that leaves his lot is functioning correctly. I've had the car for 5 months now and haven't had any non-routine maintenance issues. Finally, I registered the car in a state with a lower sales tax rate and received a check in the mail from DPG refunding me the difference. I'm sure they're required to do this by law but it was another sign that DPG knows what they're doing and is an honest business. -- Addendum: I see a review on here saying that Dan is rude and would like to add that that's just him being very straightforward and honest. He is very blunt and to the point, which I appreciated. He just says it like it is and if his personality rubs you the wrong way, just know that he's an honest businessman and isn't going to rip you off. read more

I have brought my Subaru in for brake work, high idle issues, and an oil change here. Each and every time the owner and his staff have been courteous, knowledgeable of the issues the car had, and took care of the problems and charged me a reasonable rate. I also was told my 178,000 mile Subaru Brighton had one of the best Subaru engines Subaru ever built, and that this car is a keeper. Chatty and very knowledgeable of Subaru's, these guys are the best in my book! I recommended them to a friend of mine and he bought a Forester which he is very happy with. Consummate used car salesman. He actually seems to believe the lies he tells you. Told me, "A car you drive away from my lot will have no problems!" It's on me that that wasn't the first red flag of which I should have taken note. Cue three visits for replacement parts during the month warranty period and the last part he replaced failing just after the warranty ended. It would be insulting his intelligence and experience to assume that he didn't know that would happen, but he claims to be surprised at ever false turn of the cars he sells. Stay far away, because he'll take you for the bull ride of your life. He doesn't touch the crap cars he vouches for, leaves that to his inexperienced technicians who literally break more parts than they set out to fix. Will be reporting this place to the Better Business Bureau. read more

Brought my 91 volvo to them when I purchased it in december. Great car they said. They did some work, new tires $1200... no problem. A few weeks ago my exhaust was very loud. I brought it to them again and was told "it's not worth it, get rid of the car. Your manifold exhaust is spent, we can replace it for $500 parts $300 labor. UGH. Went home & first thing we noticed was the hose was no longer connected and hanging off, so my bf took the thing apart, yes it was pretty easy and the GASKET was worn out completely. we ordered one on amazon for $10. Replaced it in less then an hour. It's running great. They DID NOT even take the time to look at obviously. Stay away. read more
