Me and my husband went there to see a used car but we end up buying new car .At 1st we thought of getting in lease but next day I changed my mind to set my lease to finance, in which they helped me to change my lease contract. Then ,I wanted to finance it for 4 years with less interest so I didnt had to pay higher interest but wasn't possible I had to finance for 5 years 3 month despite of saying I want it for just 4 years so just that case not satisfied over all everyone was helpful especially Tim Debraski was there entire time being!! Once the sale was final on the new SUV I purchased here, Sawyer Chevrolet provided absolutely NO customer support for it whatsoever. I grappled with them for months over the vehicle's many issues, yet they refused to acknowledge that they sold me a lemon, despite its numerous problems. As if it wasn't bad enough that they refused to handle any of these issues, their misogynistic service staff would routinely give me the "dopey woman treatment", using the term "calm down" and dismissively implying that the issues were all in my head. Immediately after I posted a negative review elsewhere warning others about the treatment I was receiving here at Sawyer Chevrolet, their service manager discovered it and went ballistic!  He called me up on the phone screaming, telling me to not "bother" him anymore, and to "go somewhere else" to have the car I purchased here serviced!  Well, I gladly ac​qui​esced, and now take my car to a different Chevrolet dealership where I am always treated with dignity and respect. I've read reviews from other women - and heard numerous reports from locals - that the sexist jerks at this dealership have treated them in similar fashion. Shortly after my scathing review posted, one woman told me they tried to bribe her with a price-cut if she agreed to write a positive review! The service department is a real joke. They advertise $5 inspections but never want to actually book an appointment. They told me it would take an hour, yes an entire hour, to complete the inspection on my vehicle. The woman on the phone was so unpleasant I didn't even bother completing the appointment. Price are up on used cars and trucks as we all know, I came in to look at a used truck and wanted to negotiate price, our sales person called the used car manager to discuss price the manager told the sales person that we can pay sticker price or next time we come in it would be $1,000 more. I laughed said good luck selling it for $1,000 more cause there won't be a next time, thanked our sales person who was great and walked out. It's one thing to say that the price is not negotiable our explain why you won't budge on price it's another thing entirely to be a dick about. y'all just lost another customer to Carvana. read more

Although the sales department is ok, I have to give a bad review due to their service department. My 2013 Malibu is having an engine noise so I set up an appointment. They told me noon, and I questioned isn't that lunch time? They said they work during lunch time. I sat in the waiting room for 50 minutes and went wandering. My car didn't move! I asked the guy at the desk and he replied they're at lunch??!! I said WHAT?? He said oh we'll get your car in next. I politely said I have to be at work in 2 hours and he grabbed my keys and stuck them in my face!!!! I said OK then can I please set up another appointment? He replied that he was too busy and to call to reschedule. They made me feel as though their time was more important than mine and I was bothering them. great experience buying a 2020 equinox. i dealt with barry lang in sales. he was very knowledgeable and would verify technical questions i had to make certain the car would do what i needed it to do. I went to Sawyers to get an inspection on my new truck, and there was employees sitting around doing nothing, so I asked them, and they said "Fuck Off were to busy for that shit" That kind of service is just ridiculous. The absolute worst experience I have ever had!!! I needed to bring our brand new Chevrolet Silverado in for it's first oil change. I made the appointment for November 11th, Veterans Day. I received a phone call a few days prior advising that the service department would be closed that day and they were unaware of it when they made the appointment. No big deal. I made a second appointment for the Saturday after Thanksgiving at 9am. The Monday before Thanksgiving I realized there was no way I was making it there in time, so I called and asked if other times were available and he said sure, I've got 12, 1, 2. I said give me 1 and then I thought , gee isn't that kind of late for a service department on a Saturday. So Saturday comes and I roll up at 1:00 and the first thing I see on the door is the time for Saturday 8 -1. Oh, I must be their last appointment, I thought. I walk in and the guy behind the counter looks at me and says can I help you. i said yes, I'm here for my oil change. He replies, well there's nobody here to do it and I'm like, but I have an appointment. After things were getting loud, the service manager comes over and finally admits that I was in the computer with a 1:00 appointment. He says we tried calling you. I said, did u hear back? He said no, but we though since we didn't hear from u you weren't coming. I said how about u didn't hear from me, lets assume she is coming and hold somebody back. I got nothing for my trouble other than an offer to pick my truck up. I said I live an hour and a half away and you're going to burn my gas because a bunch of morons can't get a time straight in the computer. No thanks!!! First off let me start by saying this review is for the service department not the sales part of the dealership.. I bought my truck in for repair. Pretty sure it needed an idler pulley due to squealing noise, thermostat (ran a little warm not hot and no leaks) and transmission pan gasket ( small leak / drip ). After being checked out I was told it needed over $2000 worth of work.. for a new raidiator , front brakes and rotors, and yes a tranny gasket. I thought that was a lot ,, so advised I'll come get it... they seemed pissed off plus changed me $130 for an estimate and never looked at all the reasons I bought it to them,, plus think they over pressurized the raidiator causing the leak it never had .,, never lost a drop of antifreeze now can't drive it at all pours out.. again brought to them for thermostat,, pan gasket and pulley and was told it needs brakes , rotors and raidiator... Over $200,000 worth of vehicles purchased from there to dealerships through my company never again... read more

I had no problem with my service and the man I spoke to behind the counter was very pleasant. However, I observed a customer speaking to the second man behind the counter (I believe he's the manager) and he was asking the cost of repairs. The Manager was extremely nasty and condescending to him. It was very unpleasant and I just wanted to get out of there. The Manager had no regard for me or the customer he was speaking to. Some Customer Service training should be required of the service department employees (especially the Manager). I would be embarrassed to send a friend, family member or colleague to Sawyer's Service Department and have them treated so badly. read more

This is a review for the service department. I bought a 1999 Chevy Malibu for my daughter. Shortly after the purchase we were having issues turning and removing the key from the ignition. I had the car towed to Sawyer Chevrolet to have it fixed. After paying $450 to have the ignition cylinder replaced the key started to have the same issues. We bought the car back to asses the problem. They quoted me $650 to replace the shift cable. When my daughter was in the service department they were extremely rude and condescending to her and refused to give her a copy of the estimate. I suggested that she bring the car else where. She then took the car to Albrights in Coxsackie. After 20 minutes the technician came out and asked her for $10. Apparently the cable needed some lubricant. That's all! Had they lubricated the cable in the first place they would have had a customer for life. They are customer rapists! read more
