Since Tim Horton did not seem to have burgers, A & W was the easy choice. We ordered a couple of burgers, fries and a mug of root beer. The burgers made for a nice meal. The patty was made from all Canadian beef according to a sign in the restaurant. Both the child and I enjoyed our burgers. The fries were served in a small fryer basket. The basket was neat. The best thing about the meal was the mug of root beer. After I ordered it, the cashier handed me a frozen mug. Unfortunately, this was our worst experience yet. My fiancé ordered a lobster tail, and I ordered a buffalo chicken Caesar wrap. We waited a long time for our meals, and when they finally arrived, the lobster tail was severely overcooked and extremely difficult to cut. For my wrap, things were even worse. When I started eating the second half, I took a bite and immediately felt something so hard that I thought I had broken a tooth. When I spit it out, I discovered it was a small rock buried in the middle of the wrap. We informed the waitress, who apologized and said she would call the manager and remove the wrap from our bill, but no explanation or concern was offered about how a rock ended up in the food. We've tried to support this local establishment multiple times, but between the consistently poor service and now a foreign object in the food, we can't justify returning. I don't have pancakes very often so it's a treat. They were really good today. The fresh blueberries were a bit tart which matched well with the sweet cream.
