wow. Just wow. As a girl who loves her frozen yogurt/icecream/frozen dessert. im Proud to announce…read morethat chappys takes the cake. Walking into this i was uncertain because of the odd name. but Never judge a book by its cover, or ice cream by its looks, because this is genuinly the best Frozen yogurt i have ever had. have you ever imagned eating heavan. well neither have i, but if i had to, i would imagine eating happy chappy ice cream instead. it is a one of a kind expiernce that truly swept me and my tastebuds off the ground. Now one thing that will also sweep me off the ground, is that im lactose intolerant. so making these crimnal desisions right now, will make me re think everything tonight. but its all worth it. The customer service is beyond compare. they greeted me with warm smiles and cold icecream, which is all a girl could ask lol. The atmosphere is so calming, including the icecream. If i had to recommed one place, it would 10000% be here. go get your warm smiles and cold icecream here!

Ice cream is what I call a good bad life decision. It's good because it is delicious, but it is bad…read morebecause (as a lactose intolerant person) it ends up hurting me. And yes there's frozen yogurt (which I can handle a bit better) and milk free desserts like sorbet, but sometimes a girl just wants a bit of ice cream dagnabbit! Enter the recently opened (as of April 1 - no foolin), Happy Chappy Ice Cream Shop. This is an ice cream parlour that serves 30 different flavours of Chapman's hard ice cream. If I'm gonna risk a little pain later for a tasty treat now then Chapman's is a good way to go. The ice cream shop is a little difficult to find, but not impossible. From 50th Street you turn into the parking for Hugh's Car Wash, but in the lot take an immediate left and go around the side of the north building. Happy Chappy is near the back facing the Panda Hut Express across the way. Yes, it's a bit of an odd location for an ice cream parlour, but it's ice cream and I'm not complaining. Personally, I'm just glad it's somewhere other than in Leduc Common. The Ice Cream shop is pretty small. It's a basic walk-in and order and go kind of deal. There is a bench on the back wall, but there isn't any room for any tables or chairs. They advertise 30 different flavours, most hard ice cream, but I also saw a few frozen yogurt and sorbet flavours. They've got some standards (chocolate, vanilla), but also there are more fun flavors too. I tried the Raspberry Rocky Road, which is a vanilla and raspberry ice cream with chocolate chunks. Yum. The lady working (likely the owner) was very friendly and happy to answer any questions I had. Despite the hidden location, I hope this ice cream shop does well. Leduc doesn't always have a place to get hard ice cream, and this fits the bill perfectly. As I was going in I saw a family with five kids leave, so I'm sure it will get busier as the weather (hopefully) gets nicer. They're open from 2pm to 9pm every day so you can hit your ice cream craving in the afternoon and in the evening as well. It might be a good bad life decision, but I'll come back here again.

Located downtown Camrose in a cool historic building. As you climb the steps up to this little cafe…read moregem the classic modern and Victorian decor give a classy cafe vibe. We came in the middle of the day and enjoyed lots of choice seating and had time to gaze at all the ice cream toppings choices. We ordered a ham and cheese croissant, which was nicely warmed up for us. Along with a recommended Strawberry London Fog, which was so tasty and huge! I loved it. They had a nice looking fall drink menu, plenty of light food options for lunch, plus a good selection of pastries and coffee options. We were eager to get some ice cream, I was a little disappointed that they only had one frozen yogurt/sorbet option. And on the menu the kids size was limited to 4 years old and younger....why? I'm an adult but I love ordering just a kids size of ice cream to be honest. One bathroom as well but it did have a change table station. Loved the little find of outdoor seating in the back, looked super cute and had I noticed it earlier we probably would have eaten out there instead of inside.

London Fog Tea Latter is to die for. Owners/Staff are friendly and accommodating. They make conversations with their patrons and recommend what to get etc. They seem genuinely happy that you are in the cafe and have big smiles on their faces. They also stock ice cream which is a nice little touch. I am not in Camrose often but will definitely be returning here!

This ice cream shack is just off Ellerslie Rd and offers foothills ice cream. The giant list is up…read moreon the shack itself. Ice cream itself is always good when it comes to foothills. However, with the constant flavor availability changing, there's a lot of tape over flavors and marker written vs the actual signage. This makes it very hard to read even 5 people away. Makes it a bit challenging to know who is in line, who is with the person ordering or who is just checking things out - as we're all trying to get close to read. Thought of improvement might be to have a few smaller sandwich boards (again, as there's always a line up) spaced out with some of the more popular or new flavors. The parking is in the church parking lot. So tons of parking that way. There is no path directly to the window or even up to the shack but the main sidewalk does pass by it off Ellerslie. This does make it a bit of a challenge for those with mobility aids or families with littles. As there's mini berm along the length of parking and a drainage area you need to cross to get near the shack or walk the full length of the parking lot to go in where it is more level (but I don't think more dry). They do have some carpet down to minimize the mud pit vibes closer to the shack itself. Minimal tables for such a LARGE crowd that shows up. Truly, I don't think I have passed by where there isn't a line. So if it's a dry day, I would just bring a blanket to sit on the berm. Lots of good grass but direct sun. So slather on that SPF for ice cream enjoyment. There is one port-a-pottie on the far end of the church side of the parking lot. Didn't use it but I noted it isn't something someone disabled would be able to use well. Overall, a well attended ice cream shack in the area.
