The franchise owner and management have little or no regard for the health and safety of their customers or employees. I visited the store at 3:04 PM (drive through) and observed: Cashier handled money and the cone with no gloves Cashier had no mask No hairnets Employees working in closer proximity than 6' with NO PPE (no gloves, no masks). Did not appear to be a sneeze/particulate shield on drive through window It is bad enough that the employees do not care about themselves, but to handle money and food and not even wearing gloves, show total disregard for guests. Gloves should be worn and changed each time money is handled, then food, and food should be protected from bare skin contact OR, the employee handling money does not handle food. If these are the practices that are visible to front facing employees, you can only imagine the conditions in the back of the house. I hope the health inspector shuts down restaurants with these kinds of unsanitary practices. it is these kinds of unsanitary practices that jeopardize the health and safety of the public. The store should not be allowed to violate common, decent health regulations and given the privilege to serve the public. Show that you care by not purchasing from this store (no matter how good the cones are!). read more

Paper sign on the door says temporarily closed at 10 instead of 11 (DQ website and yelp says 11)- showed up at 9:48 and doors were locked but all open signs were on and clearly people in there. I am sorry in advance for the lengthy review. When I walked into the Dairy Queen, I was looking for fun, delicious, and awesome ice cream, but what I got was less than pleasant. Upon walking in, I smell a fume that smells like mothballs and pee, and was immediately assaulted by three incredibly rude servers. Two teenage girls, and one very old lady. Upon walking in both girls chuckled at us, and said some very rude things under their breath along the lines of "fat". I was appalled. I did look at the menu, I saw that many things were marked off, as if they haven't updated their menu sent to the store open. And when I looked at their cake itinerary, that confirmed my beliefs. I saw things for when the last twilight movie came out, that was 10 years ago!!! I could tell that nothing in this store has been updated since it opened, and it was disgusting. The bathroom look like it had endured several nuclear bombs, and smelled of it too. When I looked into the kitchen, I saw filth,filth, filth. I have been to nurseries that smell less like shit then this Dairy Queen. All in all, save your money, take your time, save your life. I felt as though I was wearing a gas mask. The men's room was an absolute disaster and there were two people behind the counter at 3:00 on a Saturday taking orders from the in-house and drive thru customers while simultaneously deep frying, burger prepping and ice cream packing. I went this Dairy Queen tonight and didn't have the best experience I drove pretty far to get here because they stay open til 11 & the one closer to my house stays open til 10. Anyways I ordered a midnight mocha and a strawberry sundae at the window the guy read my order back and said "midnight mocha & strawberry Sunday $8 and change" I said "okay thank you" gal at the window says $4.28 and hands me two sundaes one strawberry sundae that I ordered & a chocolate sundae.. I told her I didn't order this "the chocolate sundae" & handed it back to her. I said "I ordered a midnight mocha I can give you more money if you need it" she didn't say anything walked to the back with the chocolate sundae that I didn't order came back with the same chocolate sundae.... This is by far the worst Dairy Queen in the area. We moved by this locations a several months ago - probably stop by once or twice a month. EVERY single time we've come in, our order came out messed up... But tonight was the icing on the cake! After going through and ordering via the drive thru, we pull up to the window to get our total and collect our ice cream. The girl at the window states our order incorrectly (understandable - I've worked in food service my entire adult life, I get that it happens!), so I correct her. She repeats it back wrong again, and when I correct our order again she disappears for a minute to complain to her coworker (we could hear her through the open window.) This goes on a few more times - her stating the order incorrectly and me repeating back to her my correct order - before we get passed our ice creams. We realize one of the items is wrong and hand it back to have another one made, and the employee looks at me and says in an annoyed voice, "you told me with whipped cream." I correct her and let her know one of our items was not supposed to have whipped cream, and she rolls her eyes before handing me a different ice cream that was how we ordered it. Honestly the ice cream wasn't even that good, the texture was more like frozen yogurt or something, so I didn't finish it. The hubs and I agree we're laying off DQ for a while, and definitely this location PERMANENTLY. Always a mess here. Soooooooo if anybody knows how I can possibly buy and run this restaurant please; don't hesitate to let me know because frankly I intend to make this a better establishment. Now my experience wasn't horrible; not even in the slightest. However, what I witnessed was just intolerable as a patron. I ordered 2 scoops for my daughter and was advised that they have soft serve. So I got a small cup and a strawberry cake blizzard thing. I don't eat at these places this was strictly for my daughter. I digress. We get our ice cream and sit to eat; no big deal. A few notes. A family ordered right before us and sat in a booth. One of the only two available. Yes, this is important. All the other chairs in the restaurant are on the table in a "we're closed fashion". Time on deck is 9:45. Granted the lobby closes at 10PM. I take my daughter outside to sit as a personal courtesy given the time. On my way out I overhear employee chatter but could only make out "....lock the door.........10" while the family that ordered before me was still seated. I could only assume what was missing. Upon sitting outside facing the counter I could notice all the employees gathered toward the back kitchen area. One of them even flickering the lights as another walks towards the door working around keys in his hands. Now while all these instances alone mean nothing; in conjunction however it screams "get out so we can leave at 10PM." Being a business owner this upsets me deeply. Your lobby hours are til 10PM...not 9:55...not 9:58 and certainly not 9:45!!! Understandably after a long shift people want to go home; but this was just rude. Hence the review. But the kicker is this did not affect my visit AT ALL! I'm simply writing this in hopes that when I do finally own this joint my employees will be rock stars who shell out smiles and A1 customer service vice turd nuggets who rush off the patrons keeping their establishment alive. read more

This place is just a few minutes from my home so my family and I come here all the time. Everything was usually ok so I had no trouble deciding to order a birthday cake for my 5year olds bday party. I put in an order online for a ninja turtle cake with my sons picture on it. Showed up on the day of the party and they didn't even know there was an order for a cake. So my son got a basic Dairy Queen cake. He was so disappointed. He thought he was getting a ninja turtle cake. I will never go back. read more

Just went to this location. I asked for a Reese extreme blizzard with chocolate ice cream. They made it with vanilla ice cream. I had a pecan turtle blizzard. Both had very little nuts or Reese candy or pecans in them and no chocolate fudge in them. They were like eating slightly flavored vanilla ice cream. I have lived in North East Ohio and the DQ there had much better treats with much better flavor. Won't be back to this location any time soon. Train the help or quit being so cheep. read more

This is the worst Dairy Queen I have ever been to. This is the second time I went there thinking the first experience may have been an outlier, but I was very wrong. The ice cream machine is never working and the ice cream is way too soft. When you order a blizzard they are supposed to turn the cup over to prove the consistency is consistent with DQ standards. They wouldn't flip the cup over here because it was so liquid. When we asked for a refund they refused and the cashier started giving us attitude. Eventually the "manager" came and provided a partial refund. This place is a disaster and shouldn't be allowed to continue being a part of the DQ franchise as they don't meet their standard quality. Dairy Queen's in Pennsylvania are so expensive!!!!!!. We got 2 kids meals and got 2 mini blizzards because we thought it cost 50 cents with the coupon they gave, but actually it was 50 cents off! We know that's not there fault but a mini blizzard with 50 cents off cost around $3.50! That's like 50 cents a bite! And a small was only like $4.00 so I ended up paying $20 for 2 kids meals and 2 mini blizzards! That's insane! I could have gone to Mcdonalds and got 5 boxes of 6 piece chicken nuggets. Also service was sooooo slow. They gave us our icecream before our food was ready therefore our mini blizzards melted. I am just furious and downright disgusted with what has become of Dairy Queen. Although the food was good in the end but fast food to feed 2 people shouldn't cost $20. I will make sure not to order mini blizzards from Dairy Queen ever again. But good food! read more
