Incredible dentistry practice. Everyone here is super nice, friendly, courteous, and professional. I had a wisdom tooth with a cavity and a crack on one of my molars. I requested via yelp for a quote on getting a tooth pulled out. A lady from the office asked for my number back. I gave it, she called and told me that a tooth extraction option ranges from $350 to $450. We set up an appointment for 2 days later on a Wednesday January 16. In that appointment they took X-rays, Dr Abbo himself inspected all the teeth, and afterwards one of the tech staff did a deep cleaning of all my teeth. I found that Dr. Abbo is very knowledgeable, competent, and experienced. It wasn't hard to see that, just a few minutes of conversation and you can tell right away that he's not a bullshitter. He explained that the only solution for the cracked molar was a root canal (he doesn't do root canals but gave me price ranges I should expect from dentists that do root canals). The wisdom can be extracted immediately and he does those procedures. We set up an appointment for the next morning for Thursday January 17 at 8am for the wisdom tooth extraction. The visit on Wednesday was $195 (no insurance). The extraction process was pretty pleasant for something that most people think would be a very unpleasant experience. I mean that, Dr Abbo was very calming in explaining every little thing he was about to do. What, where, and how much pain you will feel so everything felt was already digested in the brain as normal and expected and this relaxes the rational fear of something going wrong or off course. The only little pain you will feel is in the tooth numbing process and it's not that bad. The tooth came out no problems. Explained all the dos and don'ts and what's permitted and not permitted over the next few days and was on my way. This tooth extraction was $325 (again no insurance) The healing process was not bad. I was told and also read online in advance that to expect that bleeding can be up to 48 hours, mine stopped prob after 15 hours or so. Swelling he mentioned and also read online, however, I had no swelling whatsoever (make sure to lightly rinse your mouth with salt-water after your ice cream or milkshake meals. Got to keep that wound clean). He called me later that evening on Thursday to check on me which I thought is nice but I already was feeling tired early and was probably sleeping already. A week later on Wednesday January 23, I came back for a final appointment for checking everything and making sure everything is heeling correct. I told him how everything went perfect with no swelling whatsoever. He must have been so precise or maybe I took good care of the wound. Either way this was a fantastic experience for something that I'm sure a lot of people are dreading to get done. This checkup on extraction visit was no cost. Overall I'm glad I found this dentistry office. I just wish they do root canals as well. They already earned my trust. Thanks Dr. Abbo!!! read more

Manager did not want to honor postcard new neighbor adult special advertisement for $85. She blamed the advertising company for the error and that is irrelevant. I asked to speak to Dentist and she said she would have the final say. Although it's only a $10. difference it's all about principals and she has no principals. I offered to email her and/or text her a photo of the postcard but it made no difference to her. If I was the dentist that hired her I would most definitely suspend her or have her take a class on how to interact with new patients and to explain to her the false advertising is illegal and although it may have been a misprint they still need to honor the offer. read more

Bill Abbo is very unprofessional. I was explained him that he overcharged me and he hang up on me. He really doesn't care about his patients. I was there to glue one temporary crown. Charged me $250 just to put a glue (10 minutes in total ). Crown felt out few hours after. He told me that I needed a abutment and charged me a deposit for $150 just to order the piece. But, to my surprise, I had already an abutment in my mouth (place by another dentist few days before). I do not recommend this place! read more

I came in whaling in pain, my wisdom tooth was coming out. I was very unhappy with results and Dr. Abbo telling me that he is sorry but will not correct his work. I went to Dr. abbo for 3 porcelains, and two crowns, he showed me a mold of what my teeth will look like at the end. When he completed his work , I walked out with the worst pain I ever had. It turned out that I needed 4 emergency root canals, he swore to me that it never happened to him before but the fact is that when I started the treatment my teeth were healthy. Also the end result is not like what he showed me, my teeth are shorter on one side of my mouth, and he will not take responsibility to fix it. read more

The BEST dental office in Miami!!!! I've been with Dr. Abbo Sr. for almost 3 years and he works fast, extremely professional, and has a genuine care for his patients. He doesn't make you feel like a cash cow. The staff also goes above and beyond in their service. If you are having a bad day, their friendly faces/ service will sure cheer you up. Never a disappointment when I come. My parents are also patients here and they receive the same treatments. They deserve way more stars than whats available! Definitely a place I would recommend for anyone looking for a new dentist office. Love them!!! read more

Awful!!!! I tried to leave 0 stars, but that wasn't an option in order for me to submit this review Going to Dr. Abbo Advanced Dentistry was the worst experience! I went in as a first time patient (and last time) for a routine check-up. The dental hygienist (Julie I think her name) used bite wings to the X-rays of my teeth. While she roughly shoved the bite wings into my mouth, I continually informed her that it was really hurting my mouth. She did not care and kept rolling her eyes and became frustrated with me since she had to take the re-take some of the pictures of my teeth due to me not biting hard enough on the bite wing. I have attached pictures so you can see how badly irritated the floor of my mouth was due to the incompetence of this hygienist. I did not have any issues with Dr. Bill Abbo, who by the way was not present in the room when this experience with the hygienist took place. Dr. Abbo was the once who performed the cleaning on my teeth and informed me that I had a few cavities. I found it interesting that Dr. Abbo performed the cleaning, rather than the hygienist. It really makes me wonder if she is even a certified dental hygienist. It also makes me question Dr. Eli and Bill Abbo's judgement on why they hired someone who can't take x-Rays properly, let alone perform a routine dental cleaning. It has been about 7 months since I went there, and the floor of my mouth still has a weird bump that was not there before, so clearly there's permanent damage done. My daughter's prior dentist was horrible and literally destroyed her smile. He removed teeth and kept her braces on for much, much longer than he should have. BILL ABBO, stepped in and has done so much in a few months and corrected much of the problems created by her old dentist. He took care of 4 cavities, put in 2 implants and explained everything in detail with a smile on his face. To quote my daughter "Dad, he is amazing, I felt no pain with the implants". I've heard about dentists like this, but I didn't think they actually existed. Dr. Abbo kept trying to push me towards expensive options. He recommended I buy a $150 toothbrush for him, then told me I needed braces (which I had successfully when I was a kid, and certainly don't need anymore), then tried to sell me a $150 mouthpiece even though no dentist before had every told me I grind my teeth, then he suggested I get a dubious filling. Dr. Abbo is like a crooked car mechanic and really cannot be trusted. I can't comment on the quality of his work since I ended up only getting a cleaning, but I'd definitely recommend getting a second opinion before I let Dr. Abbo talk me into anything. read more
