My wife and I were in Florida for a short vacation when she experienced terrible pain in her gums and was beside herself in pain. it was on a Friday and we were desperate to find a dentist, Fortunately her sister in law had told her about Dr Amselem and we called him hoping to see him before the weekend. He had told her to come in right away and when we got there he took her in right away and found her to have a problem with her lower tooth and would need route canal and a cap. She was thinking to go back to NY but her pain would not subside so we decided to have him do the work. I can not tell you how happy my wife was with his work, he had her come back on Monday to fit her for a cap and by Friday she had the cap put in. Dr Amselem was very professional and very caring He had called her 3 different times to see how she was doing and this was on a Saturday night and Sunday when his office was closed. I have been using Dr. AMSELEM for over 10 years. He is by far the most honest dentist I have ever been to. I found him by accident when another dentist told me I had 4 cavities. When I saw Dr. AMSELEM he took xrays per my request and told me I was in good shape...no cavities. He sensed my skepticism, so I told him about the other dentist. He said "if you were my child I wouldn't drill your teeth." Since then I have created a Dr Amselem following! My entire office has switched to him. Everyone couldn't be happier. He will NEVER suggest you need work that you don't. He will ALWAYS fit you in if you have an emergency. And you will NEVER BE KEPT WAITING. He also has a fantastic staff. This is the worst dentist ever, stay away from his clinic and save your money. When I went to the dental clinic for treatment, rather than treat one tooth, they built me a work plan for me, when I was disappointed in the service they sought payment for another meeting that never was ... it sounds like fraud and attempted extortion ...,when I called and asked for proof of the debt, they told me that I have to pay and they do not have to prove my nothing ... well kind of cheats ... after shopping around I found out that the clinic named AMSELEM SHALOM DDS is almost 50% more than the market price ... thankfully I received another clinic to my satisfaction and I paid half the price of what the Doctor asked. The experience at Dr. Amselem's office is excellent from the appointment all the way to exiting the visit. The staff is extremely diligent, friendly, and professional with appointments and appointment reminders. Upon entry to the office, the waiting area is very comfortable and well-appointed, and I have never had to wait long before being called in to the exam room. Dr. Amselem performs his work in a professional and thorough manner, and he always explains what he is doing and why. Checkout and follow up appointment is efficient and quick. I wanted to commend Dr. Anselem's team and in particular one of the office's hygienists, Angelica. Recently, I had a perio-maintenance cleaning done that required minor anesthesia for a very deep cleaning. Angelica was very thorough and efficient. In all my years of visiting a dentist, I have not had a hygienist like Angelica. Phenomenal technique in applying the anesthesia, I didn't feel a thing and left smiling.
