This was honestly the worst dental experience I have ever had. I booked what I was told would be a…read moredental exam that included X-rays and a cleaning. The price was very inexpensive, which I was initially excited about, but I really regret not spending more and going somewhere else from the beginning. They started with the hygienist, who did the cleaning and X-rays. The cleaning itself was fine. What shocked me was the "exam." The dentist did not even perform a comprehensive visual examination of my teeth. My gums were never checked at all. The dentist basically asked whether I was having any pain or sensitivity. When I mentioned sensitivity in one particular tooth, she looked at that tooth and told me that a filling was chipping or had an issue, except that tooth has never even had a filling in the area where I was experiencing sensitivity. A treatment plan I was later provided said a different tooth needed a filling in 3 different areas. That was essentially it. My gums weren't thoroughly evaluated. They were not evaluated whatsoever actually. Other dentists probe the gums to check for recession or problems but that was never done here. My teeth weren't individually examined in any meaningful way, and I walked out not even knowing whether I have cavities or the status of the health of my mouth. I have never left a dental exam feeling so confused about the actual condition of my teeth and gums . When I later called because I was unhappy with the exam, they offered to schedule me with a different dentist at another one of their locations, which would have required me to drive approximately 45 minutes. I had actually been here a couple of years ago and remember the experience being somewhat better. I only returned because they sent me a reminder around the same time I happened to need a cleaning. This visit felt extremely rushed and impersonal, almost like an assembly line. Strangely, I felt like the hygienist was evaluating and discussing my teeth more than the dentist was. I now have to make an appointment with an entirely different dental practice and pay again for a comprehensive examination just to find out what's actually going on with my teeth. So the roughly $200 I spent here feels completely wasted, and choosing the cheaper option is ultimately going to cost me considerably more. If you're on a very tight budget and simply need a basic cleaning, this may be an option. But if you're looking for a genuinely thorough dental examination and want to leave understanding the health of your teeth and gums, I absolutely would not recommend this office. I deeply regret not going somewhere else in the first place.

I had no pain before, but since receiving treatment, I developed constant sensitivity, pain when biting, inflammation, and radiating pain in my cheekbone. Not a single tooth she worked on is fully functional, and she removed so much from my bite that even soft foods often slip through when I try to chew. Because I've been eating only on the right side for over five months, my facial muscles don't work evenly, causing jaw pain that required acupuncture. I was advised to get ozone injections ($600), which didn't help, but I was encouraged to continue them. While dealing with these complications, I was offered elective services, told to extract a tooth on the opposite side(which would have made eating solid food nearly impossible), and criticized for my teeth alignment. There was no accountability for the issues I experienced. I spent thousands of dollars without improvement. When I decided to get a second opinion, I was told I'd have to pay for my records. I refuse on principle. Throughout all of this, my concerns were minimized, and I was repeatedly told to "be patient" and "stay positive." The principle of "do no harm" was not followed in my experience. I cannot recommend Dr. Yani.

I had X-rays, no assessment, unless you count touching once with the tip of the instrument the top of the lower molars as a mouth assessment, and no cleaning at all. This so called dentist that is working in place of Dr. Jacobs used the short time we were together to sell a deep cleaning and got me out of the chair so fast, that despite the low opinion I had already formed, he was able to surprise me. He refused to perform the cleaning I was there for, he bragged he was the one with decision power, and laughed literally when I said that I should be the one deciding if I want a service performed. I have no idea why Delta Dental keeps this office in its list. This office is a joke. Dr. Jacobs may be the owner, but he is not running the show.

She was able to quickly repair it and took the time to go over the veneers option with me. I couldn't be happier I decided to go with her. Dr. Cismas and a very precise and thorough, and she won't stop until she achieves perfection. She is also very easygoing and friendly. I got a new set of veneers in a period of about a month.
