Most recently I've had two great experiences. 1: About 6 months after doing the brakes on my civic, there was a squealing and I asked him to check. He found that debris had gotten into one of the brakes and fixed it complimentary even though there's no evidence that that couldn't have happened independently of the job he had just done a few months before. 2: my wife recently broke down on the side of the highway and Les was able to fix the alternator and battery within a day, which was really appreciated as my wife relies heavily on the van with our 4 kids. The gentleman working in the inspection bay was friendly, professional, and, as a fellow dog lover, we had a pleasant conversation. Unfortunately, my visit today was quite different. Before the new inspection stickers were placed on my windshield, I politely asked if I could quickly clean the glass first. For some reason, the associate assisting me responded in an impolite manner. Perhaps he was having a bad day, but as a customer, that is not something I should have to experience. When he handed back my credit card and receipt, he asked me, "At your job, do customers tell you how to do your job?" I replied, "Yes." My request was simple and reasonable, and there was no need for the interaction to become confrontational. Customers should be treated with courtesy and respect, especially when making a straightforward request regarding a service they are paying for. I have always had positive experiences with your business in the past, which is why this encounter was particularly disappointing. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and used as an opportunity to improve customer service going forward. As a last note I told him, that I would be posting a review.. Too sad...

I took my car to fill up on gas and it started pouring out everywhere, finding out they broke my fuel pump. I sadly brought the car back here to fix this issue. After a few days they "fix," it again and tell me it is good to go. I arrive with a huge puddle of gas underneath my car again... Twice they said it was good and both times it was pouring out gas, seems like a large issue to me. The owner had no idea what was going on and had the audacity to say none of this was his fault... I am 100% confident they do not test/check if any of their work actually fixes the problem. Just think about that for a second. Save yourself time, money and your sanity by not going here.

It was ready the same day i dropped it off and they made the transaction so simple. I was even able to accept via a link what work they were needing to do to my vehicle which i found amazing! I did notice more squeaking after having it fixed so i dropped it off again. They advised my rear brakes just needed to be cleaned (that i had just had done at my vehicles dealership). I went onto their website, went to their booking page and seamlessly was able to book an appointment for the next day, I was feeling a sense of relief! When I entered the shop the guy at the front desk was quick to greet me but while he wasn't rude or disrespectful he lacked the welcoming and trustworthy energy one needs when entering a mechanic shop. I was instructed to have a seat in the waiting room, which can I say is definitely one of the nicer waiting rooms I've seen in a mechanic shop. They provide their customers with complimentary water, coffee, tea etc, there is a viewing window into the shop which adds points to the trustworthy factor and there's a tv with access to the remote if you wanted to watch something. The guy at the front desk provided me a print out of a quote for my tire and I approved it. With that being said I was not offered a choice in what kind of tire I had put on and I ended up just making sure they put an all season tire on my car. Unfortunately despite making an appointment I had to wait an hour before my car actually got into the shop. Granted I've waited double that time at Town Fair Tire, still frustrating. They got to work taking the lug nuts off and then a little too much force was used to get the last lug nut off and they broke in half one of my lugs. Having watched this all go down it would have been nice for someone to just quickly pop in explain or reassure me in the moment but what's done is done. They quickly got a replacement lug and before I knew it my new tire was on, no extra charge to me for the mistake. They were extra diligent to make sure my lug nuts were tightened properly and now I'm enjoying my vacation :)
