I had an appointment for 11:00 for an oil change. Stated I would be waiting, but in the area - decided to take a walk and they said they would call me. I came back an hour later, my car hadn't moved. I waited in the lobby. After about 20 more minutes, I asked for an update, and it hadn't been looked at. They said they would "put it on a red hook" to get me moving faster. It took 2 1/2 hours to get an oil change. With an advance appointment. Ridiculous. read more

Think twice about bringing your vehicle to Sullivan tire for repairs...I brought my car in to have a wheel bearing replaced, they quoted me at $350 and I thought that was a good deal. They then called me to inform me that my wheel speed sensor "did not make it" & I would need to spend an additional $100 to correct THEIR mistake & I agreed to them fixing it. I picked up my vehicle, paid the $500 owed for the work. The SAME DAY, my wife was driving the car to a child's birthday party & several lights came on, stating the car was experiencing severe issues. We then called Sullivans, inquiring about these new & unexpected warning lights coming on. My wife was then told that the new & unexpected lights had NOTHING to do with any of the work they had just performed, that day. She insisted that these lights have never come on & questioned their work that was performed that day. Sullivans insisted that it wasn't their work, in fact the car itself was "known to be a bad car" & that we should "think about trading it in". Fast forward to removing the wheel entirely & realizing that Sullivans had in fact smashed the housing unit to the ABS sensor entirely, broke a bolt in half & then zip tied the pieces together, instead of fixing their mistake. They attempted to coerce us into SELLING OUR VEHICLE because they made a mistake that they didn't want to admit they made. 0/10 stars, do not trust them. read more

I went here for tires and the price is comparable to other places. I chose them because they answered the phone and were able to give me an appointment the same week although this is peak season. They definitely cross-sell. Although I just had an alignment a few weeks ago they said I needed another check but I got tired of waiting as they only have one alignment bay and left. The tires are middle of the line quality and you have to pay for a tire protection plan and balancing. You must rotate them every 6000 miles which is typical but also have the alignment checked every 6000 miles which is not industry standard to keep the warranty active. Since it was only 3000 miles since my previous alignment elsewhere I passed on this. You are also instructed to have the tire pressure checked every 2 weeks. Apparently they are unaware people have other things to do with their time besides hang around their shop every other week. At least they do not mandate retorquing like other places do. They gave me an estimate for brakes - $448 for one axle - that is high - I got a price elsewhere of $378 - but the other shop will not do Saturdays. So I will go back for that and some other work I need done. One place I liked and went to before is not open due to the pandemic. I appreciate that this place is. When I left the tire pressure light was on and they couldn't admit they didn't put enough air in the tires. Instead they said I needed to drive around and the light would go off. I did but of course it didn't work, total waste of my gas and my time and I had to come back. The jury is still out while I evaluate how the tires wear (supposedly they are good for 75,000 rather than 50,000 miles but didn't look it) and if I need a repair see how good the warranty coverage is. After my review the service advisor did contact me to go over concerns I had about stored codes which I appreciate so I added another star. read more

I came in today, hoping to get a tire patched. Alas, no such luck, the tire was too far gone. It was shredding around the steel belt. I was shown the damage, so I could make the decision for myself, and see that it was, in fact, incredibly damaged and dangerous to continue driving on. My other tire was showing the same wear, though it was not losing air yet. I decided to get two new tires, even though I wasn't looking to spend the money at the moment.
