My right side the teeth didn't touch. Behind the upper denture is a pretty good sized gap. It's a constant struggle to keep clean. Within 3 months 3 out of 4 posts fell out of my lower jaw. I called Dr Trevasani's office when the first one fell out. They were supposed to call me back but never did, I left several voicemails. The 2nd post fell out. I called his office again. On this call I was told, "Dr Trevasani is no longer doing dental implants". Obviously a lie. I asked if his office closed down and was told, "no he's only doing wisdom teeth removals". Obviously another lie. 3rd post fell out and I called Dr Trevasani's office again. This time asking what I'm supposed to do. I asked if the office is referring past patients to someone else. I was told, "Dr Trevasani is no longer doing dental implants, just wisdom teeth removals". I said that's not what I asked. They said I needed to find another dentist. I have been to numerous other dentists who specialize in dental implants. I was told that the space in the back of the upper dentures couldn't be repaired. That I'd have to get an entirely new one made. I was told the bottom denture was actually MY original denture. Yet I was charged for upper and lower. 3 different dentists will not touch me. I'm looking at thousands to fix this. Please save yourself the money and aggravation by seeing someone else. I think you'd be better served getting a dentist who got his license from a Cracker Jack box. I've had nothing but pain in my lower jaw from the bite being so off. From here I will contact the American Board of Prosthodontics and file a report on Dr Trevasani. I was outright lied to. Because he didn't want to fix what he screwed up I'm stuck holding the bag and trying to come up with the money to get this taken care of.

We think we will be treated with care, respect, honesty and compassion when something comes up. Am i wrong? [TL;DR ---- cavity turned into root canal within 1.5 wks. wanted credit to root canal (about 45 bucks). office refused in a shady way] Alafaya Dental Care was recommended by a friend of mine. ACTUALLY, it was more like 4 friends. If 4 for your friends go to see the same dental office, you would think, "Wow, I guess they are doing a great job!". Well, maybe I'm the outlier but hear me out. I confess. I was one of those that didn't have insurance for awhile so I didn't have the opportunity to see the dentist a lot and thus, I got some work to do on my teeth. I understood I would be spending a pretty penny on my teeth after neglecting for awhile . My first visit here -- I got my treatment plan for cavities and some deep cleaning. Cool Cool. Schedule me. My second visit -- Alright one side of the teeth was scaled and planed and a cavity was filled. A deep one, I was told. My third visit -- (about 1.5 wk after my 2nd visit) more cleaning and hey Doc, my tooth hurts on the cavity that was a deep filling. Doc says, okay *taptap*, it look likes it needs a root canal. I'm thinking over here, wow, ok, I'll bite the bullet since it hurts like a mutherferrrr. Then I was thinking wait a minute, I DID PAY for the cavity which she filled a week and a half ago (out of pocket, maybe 40-50 bucks at the most, rest was by insurance). I kindly asked the front desk lady, would it be possible to have my cavity payment applied to my root canal since I had just got it done? Literally. She's wavering and not knowing what to tell me, but says something to the effect like, it seems reasonable but let me ask the doctor. She goes back there and says the Dentist can't be reached WHILE the Dental Assistant that was in the same room, comes out and scribbles "no discount" on the my treatment paper, and slides it back to the front desk lady, WITHOUT acknowledging me. The front desk lady flips over the paper but never tells me if they were able to apply the credit. OKAY.... That was a Tuesday. Thursday comes around and I called the office. Another front desk lady answers the phone, I explained to her the exact situation of how I needed a root canal after 1.5 wks of filling and I just want a credit of what I paid for it. She didn't think like I was crazy or psychotic for asking and said it sounds logical but let me ask. I call again that same day to get the answer and the lady that checked me out last time and schedules me all the time gives me the answer. The answer was No. She says the discount cannot be given and in her exact words, "the work was performed". She assured me she had ask the dentist and that was the dentists choice. After that phone call, I contemplated of getting the work done by them further but I REFUSE to go back there. I no longer want work to be done on my teeth by people that cares more about 45 dollars than a patient that they want to see further and really care about. To quote what I said earlier, I am looking for a doctor that treats patients with, "care, respect, honesty and compassion when something comes up". This dental practice did not follow the personal qualities I'm looking for. They made me feel dumb and was not being honest when they already decided what they were going to do. The 1 star was for the hygenist because she seem genuinely nice and cared. The office was also clean, 2nd star. [TL;DR ---- cavity turned into root canal within 1.5 wks. wanted credit to root canal (about 45 bucks). office refused in a shady way. Office clean. Hygienist nice. 2 stars]

First, they greet you at the door, check you in, and offer beverages. It's personal customer service, not sign in and have a seat. When I was taken back to the treatment areas, again, it was personal service, and as a first-time visitor, I was given a bit of a tour with information about the entire office. The doctor explained everything he was doing and why he was doing it. Checked repeatedly for any discomfort. And when it was time to check out, it was again, a personal experience and they held the door open for me as I left. It was customer service more akin to a spa or hotel. If the need arises to pay a return visit, I will be much more comfortable knowing the level of attention paid to customer service and medical care.

We arrived with a referral and updated X-rays that had been completed shortly before our visit, yet there was confusion regarding the treatment plan and my son was taken for additional X-rays. This immediately raised concerns about communication and coordination. From the moment we walked in, the environment felt unwelcoming. One staff member repeatedly stared at us in a way that felt judgmental, and at multiple points, staff were whispering to each other while looking in our direction. My son, who was already in pain, became uncomfortable enough to ask if we should leave. Also, we witnessed inappropriate interactions between employees, while we were filling out paperwork. A male employee came out and began rubbing the shoulders of his female colleagues and patting their backs, as he walked by expressing going to grab pizza for the office. As for the $412 fee, it was not clearly explained, despite us having insurance and providing all necessary information. For context, we are a military family used to dealing with DOD and VA facilities, where payment processing is different. I explained that this was an emergency and that I needed a moment to figure out the financial portion. Instead of working with us, I was told, "you should always prepare to have to pay for things when you go places," which was both unprofessional and lacking empathy. While I stepped away briefly to figure out next steps, my son was brought back into the lobby and told that I needed to speak with him, which was not accurate. When we attempted to clarify the situation, the staff member closed the door without explanation. When I asked what was going on, I was again asked how I would be paying. We ultimately left without treatment, with my son still in pain and feeling embarrassed and confused. To make matters worse, we were not given any documentation or visit summary, and I had to request our referral back before leaving. No patient--especially one in pain--should leave a healthcare office feeling judged, confused, and untreated during an emergency. I hope this office improves its communication, professionalism, and patient care.
