We originally came to the Longwood location but since they didn't have laughing gas at that spot and he couldn't schedule me in same day we ended up going to their Maitland location next day. I then kindly asked why is it policy, with all the horror stories we hear i had to ask. The doctor came in after hearing that and explained the why. I will say it felt like a bit to back and forth at first vs him addressing my concerns and some things said were a bit off putting. I won't go in detail because at the end I see we're all just humans who can err in thought.... In the end everything turned out ok which was what mattered most and he allowed me to stay in the room afterall. Also funny at the end he was so suprised and mentioned it was his first kid who has not complained or moved during the procedure due to the pain. Hopefully none of you have to see an endo but if you do this was our experience.

This room had relaxing soft music playing and a program on the tv to keep myself distracted. I came in terrified and left happy and relieved. Dr Bill is very patient and precise. I felt like he was very gentle which I highly appreciate considering I hate the feeling of metal and vibration. The numbing worked fantastically and I felt like I was in and out. The following is an update to my initial visit with Dr. Slosser back in February. My dentist…read morereferred me to Dr. Slosser again in November as he saw a shadow around a root canal my dentist's office completed earlier this year. My dentist was hoping to see if Dr. Slosser could "save my tooth" after the consultation. I was stunned by the diagnosis as I had no pain with the subject tooth. After examining the x-ray and the tooth, Dr. Slosser compared the x-rays from February and today and stated he did not think I had an issue. He pointed to where he thought the shadow was improving compared to earlier this year. He explained it takes a long time for bone to heal and since I have no pain, he suggested leaving it be and to come back in six months for a follow-up checkup. Of course, if I did experience any pain before then to contact his office immediately and they will work with me ASAP. Then, this amazing endodontist said, "I'm not charging you today for this consultation" given I was a previous patient this year. Now, that is exceptional!! I had to provide this update as soon as I got back from this appointment to properly give credit where credit is due for an outstanding endodontist! Thank you, Dr. Slosser!
