My doctor offered me two choices, strong antibiotics or a highly restrictive diet called the FODMAP. I chose the latter but needed help figuring exactly how I was going to survive on a diet that eliminated about 80 percent of what I eat. Courtney was a critical resource in helping me establish a diet where I didnt feel like I was starving myself. The good news is that I was much better in about 3 weeks and 6 months later I am doing great. Courtney is highly professional, knowledgeable and most importantly practical. Issues such as my autoimmune condition, acid reflux/GIRD, and lifestyle led to a recommendation to test for food sensitivities. I decided the testing would be an investment in my health. I had experienced these issues for more than 15 years and wanted solutions. She recommended the LEAP program after seeing my test results. The elimination/add-back plan was hard to follow at first, but I was determined to be successful. Within three months, I was off my medication for acid reflux/GIRD. I am working toward the weight loss aspect by following a Mediterranean-style plan which includes the food I am able to eat without reaction. I would recommend this program to others as it is an investment in your overall health and well-being. Please be patient to see results. I came to her after doing a short stint in CrossFit, where I was struggling with hip pain and unable to keep up with the high volume of squats.
