Figured we would get her teeth cleaned while were there. We had the most pleasant experience with Dr Moon. Her staff was very welcoming and Dr Moon is very good with kids. If I lived in the area, I would definitely switch over to her. Thank you for making it a pleasant experience for us!

The office is nice and clean, they are all friendly and accommodating. We never wait long in the lobby. Dr. Moon is so easy to talk to, she's smart and experienced, she's socially savvy and she just gets it. She knows how to run a good practice and leads a great team. We've lived in the area for 10 years and had tried multiple other dentists. One pediatric dentist we visited in Riverstone wouldn't let me go with my children for exams, they all disappeared behind a clouded door while I sat in the lobby. That made me very uncomfortable. In Dr. Moon's office, you're with your kids every moment of the appointment, even if they are having dental work done in the rear rooms. This was really important to me. We recently moved about 15 mins further from the office but I will still continue to use Dr. Moon. The only thing difficult is that many people have discovered how awesome she is, so it's pretty busy, especially during school breaks. I actually hesitated to write a review because I don't want her to get busier! But she will whether I write this review or not, many people recommend her in local forums. You might have to wait to get an appointment but your children will receive care from an excellent dentist.

Are you considering taking your child to Dr. John Howe? Please allow me (an adult to tell you about…read moremy experience at Sienna Pediatric Dentistry. Why did I go to a pediatric dentist you ask? I am a big baby. But also because I had a dental emergency and his office was kind enough to see me on short notice - even though I am in my mid-30's. My emergency arose from a 4 year period of neglect. I had a broken crown and quite a few cavities. I was incredibly nervous about the visit. Let's face it - a dental visit can be more intrusive than an entire day spent at you OBGYN's office. With that said, I will share my experience with you since most of his patients can't talk let alone type yet to tell you theirs. I was there for 4.5 hours. Not waiting in the waiting room but actually in the chair getting work done. Yeah, my mouth was not in good shape... That is until Tabitha (the best and MOST THOROUGH dental assistant on the planet) got in there and did her magic. Don't worry, I will be attaching before and after pics (if I can figure out how). They're kind of embarrassing but the difference is night and day! Once Tabitha was finished cleaning my teeth, Dr. Howe stepped in to start the process of repairing my 3 cavities and fitting me for a temporary crown. I have always had sensitive teeth so they numbed me up for my cleaning as well as the dental work itself. I dread those shots... But this time I actually barely knew they were even happening! They numbed my gums prior to the injections which made it go by without a hitch, a scream, cry or even a whimper Plus Dr. Howe has a very soft touch and in general just put me at ease during the whole process. I was also able to get caught up on my Pixar animated films, which played on the ceiling during my appointment - I recommend "The Good Dinosaur". Out of 5 stars, I give this dental office and experience 6 stars.

At our first visit with all 3 of my children I was nervous but after our first office visit I was so relieved. The process between Dr Howe(spell check) and his assistants made my experience as a mother so smooth and relaxed. My children loved it and even after their treatments they absolutely love coming in for their check ups. From having to go thru a very tragic experience to finding a dentist who actually loves what he does and you can see it in how he handles each child and procedure it's the best feeling ever. I've found our dentist I've even updated my insurance it make sure I can have him as our dentist.

They will make sure you got pain and they do not qualify for any moderate sedation. You may take your own risk to be there with those unprofessional people. Sedation Options Offered: According to the Excel Dental website, they offer the following anxiety-relief and sedation methods: * Nitrous Oxide (Laughing Gas): A mild, inhaled sedative that helps patients relax while remaining awake. It wears off quickly after the procedure. * Oral Conscious Sedation: A pill taken before the appointment to manage moderate to severe anxiety. * The Wand: A computer-controlled injection system that delivers local anesthesia in a steady, more comfortable flow than traditional needles. Important Note on IV Sedation: Excel Dental does NOT currently list IV sedation (deep sedation). If you require IV sedation, other local providers that explicitly offer it include Missouri City Dentistry and Plantation Dental. Notable complaints from public reviews and consumer platforms include: * Clinical Incidents: One highly detailed complaint from 2024 involved a parent who alleged that a child was "traumatized" during a molar extraction where anesthesia reportedly wore off mid-procedure. * Billing and Financial Disputes: Patients have reported issues with the finance department, specifically regarding the handling of referral credits and unexpected charges for certain procedures. * Prosthetic and Fit Issues: At least one senior patient reported receiving poorly fitted dentures that caused significant pain, followed by dissatisfaction with the office's refusal to provide a refund. * Service Quality: Some reviews highlight "lousy" service for specialized needs like severe underbites or hurried cleanings that felt inadequate. * Operational Concerns: Common minor complaints include long wait times--sometimes exceeding an hour--and administrative errors, such as prescriptions being issued without necessary signatures.

My daughter has a few cavities and needed to get a couple fillings and some baby crowns (7yr old). first couple of times were fine nothing major but the last visit when she needed a baby crown, they decided to extract the tooth instead. we agreed, and proceeded. they had given her some anesthesia and finished with her fillings first then it was time for the molar extraction. she was squirming when the fillings were getting done, meaning anesthesia was wearing off, which happens. So the doctor pulls out more anesthesia and my daughter sees the big shot and freaks out and says she doesnt want it. doctor puts it away and they (nurse and my husband) are holding her down and the doctor starts to crack and twist ON HER MOLAR, which is 100% intact, as she is now screaming. her eyes are rolling back because shes in pain and hyperventillating. my husband hears her tooth cracking and twisting with my daughter pleading him for help and asks them to stop and maybe give her more anesthesia since IT HAS ALREADY WORN OFF WHEN THEY WERE WORKING ON HER FILLINGS. they get my daughter to calm down and she asks for a few min and says she will take the shot but the front desk manager steps in and says shes shutting it all down. shutting it down? after you have already traumatized my daughter cracking and twisting her molar and couldnt even extract it, SHUT IT DOWN? i came back to meet the owner and the doctor and the front desk manager who were responsible for my daughter that day as, get this. her baby crown fell out. her fillings were cracking and breaking off. i meet the owner as he cracks a joke saying , oh the whole family is here hahahaha! my husband, my sister and i came as they were present the day of the last procedures. i asked my questions and commented my concerns and this is what he said to us. 1. 1st dose of anesthesia was plenty to finish almost 3 hours of work that day (we mentioned our daughter squirming while they were working on her filling so def the doctor and the nurse knew she needed another dose) 2. if the 1st dose was enough why did the doctor get ready for the 2nd shot and only put it away becsuse my daughter refused it? 3. the owner decides to tell me the doctor didnt give the 2nd dose becsuse they didnt want to over dose my daughter. 4. then the owner said they didnt give the 2nd dose becsuse the location where my daughter needed the 2nd dose was more painful than where they put the 1st dose. 5. then the owner told the doctor nurse and manager to leave as i started asking them details becsuse they knew what they did to my daughter that day 6. they gave me a refund for the crap job where the crown fell off and fillings broke off and molar was broken but not extracted leaving my daughter in forever trauma with the dentist. 7. they kept telling me theyre not a pediatric dentist... THEN WHY TAKE MY MONEY, WHY BOOK US AND WHY ADVERTISE IT LIKE YOU DO WHAT YOU DO? you made a big mistake. my daughter is terrified of the dentist thanks to your doctor and nurse trying to pull out her molar with worn off anesthesia. i asked the owner, would you let your daughters go through what mt daughter did and he said no. even as an adult i wont be able to sit through someone with a wrench, twisting and turning my molar and ive given birth twice. so youre telling me my daughter was not cooperative and that was the reason to shut it down? you people are a joke and psychopaths. shes seven. she weighs 49lbs. we had 2 grown ass men holding her down while her eyes were rolling back. i will be reporting a formal complaint. it will br a long fight but dont treat people like were dumb. you know exactly what your staff did and you sitting there keep changing your story and mocking us isnt going to make us go away. you have messed with the wrong family. you have forever traumatized my daughter and i will do everything to make sure this never happens to another child and patient due to yalls incompetence as healthcare workers.

When I moved, I didn't think I could find another dentist like the one I had before but luckily I met Dr. Lance Jue when I moved to TX while working at the bank. Since then he had taken care of both me, Nhung Thuy Pham, and now Ellie. 3 months ago I had the most horrible tooth ache to the point where I couldn't sleep and I would be willing to take any medicine to make the splitting pain stop. Dr. Jue said I needed a root canal which scared me as I heard a lot of bad experience with them. But anything to get rid of the tooth ache! He and his staff were very reassuring and the procedure went so smoothly that I didn't feel any pain at all! In fact it was the easiest most painless dental procedure I have ever had. Thank you Dr. Jue and team for taking the pain away and putting a nice crown to fill it's place. If anyone ever needs to get work done or looking for a dentist who can get 2 people who are scared deathless of going to the dentist, he be your go to guy. Thank you for taking care of our family. #rootcanal #crown #drlancejue #CreativeSmiles

The office is a SCAM, they would perform something you don't need at all (we had it done on 10/2021 and she did it again on 12/2021 for a out of pocket charge) and tell you to pay out of your pocket AT THE TIME of appointment, instead of informing you ahead of time, and then you are obligated to pay. We wouldn't even come over to do the cleaning if we knew they would perform something that weren't covered by the insurance. We had the exact same service done (Cleaning + Fluoride)in October 2021, and she wanted to perform the exact same thing (Cleaning + Fluoride) in early December again and the fluoride was a out of pocket thing without advance notice and permission for the December visit. Why would we need fluoride again in such a short period of time again??? The fact that they knew insurance wouldn't cover the extra service and they still offered us to do it was really bad. And the fact they didn't tell you until you are there, caused us to pay for unnecessary bills that we could have avoided. The customer service is also very unfriendly and rude when you ask them to explain why they performed something unnecessary, she couldn't give out a good answer and directed me to wait for a call back from the doctor. Dr. called back saying they have too many patients to take care of, and they couldn't track down your insurance plan. My problem was still not resolved, and she refused to divided half of my bill because of their failure to prove me a pre-estimate ahead of time, and we had to pay for the entire bill of the unnecessary services they performed. I would suggest this office to provide a pre-estimate before the appointment like most of the other dental offices do to let patient's know the financial responsibilities, a few days notice would be totally fine. There are SO MANY great pediatric dentists in the area, AVOID coming here.
