So, since my original review I just want to express my love for Westside Plastic Surgery. You are always greeted with a kind smiling face usually Dolores and if not her Julianna or gosh she is going to beat me - the pretty young blonde. They are all about the patient and only the patient, so this is to say something if they can deal with a hyper goofball like me - I think they exhale when I leave because I love happiness and positive energy and I overflow these lovely people each time they have seen me. Completely treat you like family and I once told Dolores please don't let this practice ever loose that feeling - it's a true feeling of care for you as a person and they truly connect with you personally. I did my research on Dr. Goggin - where he came from, where he trained, his old reviews from Cali (really Cali - thank god you came home to Texas). Back to Dr. Goggin - he explains everything in detail so much so that I never have a question while visiting with them, but always have a question after I get back to my own clinic. With that said they never hesitate to answer via text, phone or in person. So I had Dr. Goggin do my Lifted and Gifted Girls - took 2 pain pills after the procedure - currently 3 weeks out - just visited the sweet people of Westside Plastic Surgery. The evening after my surgery Dr. Goggin and Dolores were ready to come to my home and check on me - Yes you heard correctly an actual doctor who cares so much he would drive out to the country to visit a patient to ensure they feel ok and if they need anything - Can you say above and beyond. I went in the day after my surgery - and met with the same happy faces even on a Saturday - I have seen him a few times since then and I can say nothing but happy words regarding him and his practice. Very satisfied with everything - can not understand or believe how anyone could something bad to say - they are all truly gems. PS: My only thought is -I should have went Larger - lol - just kidding Dr. Goggin will always keep you focused on what will fit your frame best. Being my mother's daughter I inherited her jowls & at 66 years old I looked old & tired. Finding a doctor who didn't make me look like something out of a horror movie or like every other person that had a facelift was very important to me. As natural as possible as I looked in my youth. If you are reading this review, chances are, that you are interested in some form of cosmetic surgery. I have been considering a face lift for a few years now, and always had questions on my mind. Like, what surgical procedures would I require? How is the surgery performed? How safe is it? What are the post op expectations? And how much is it going to cost me? I finally mustered the courage to take that big step and schedule a consultation appointment. If I don't start sometime and somewhere, I'll always be wondering. After careful research online, I narrowed my best options to "The Plastic Surgery Center of Sacramento". In the past I had been a long time patient of the Medical Spa within the same facility. I felt like this would be a reputable and reliable place to go. I was scheduled to see Dr. Goggin. I noticed that he has top rated reviews, experience and credentials. Needless to say, I looked forward to seeing him no matter how nervous I was getting! I filled out several pages of new patient paperwork that you access online and bring with you to the appointment. The consultation fee is $100.00 that you pay in advance at the time of scheduling. If you decide to have your procedure performed, the fee is included with your completed surgery costs as long as it is done within the next 3 months. When arriving at the medical building, you will notice that parking is directly across the street. Upon entering the glass doors, I was greeted by friendly staff and made comfortable. The interior is very nice and well maintained. I enjoyed seeing the lovely and relaxing Koi pond that is viewable through the glass of the reception area. There was very little waiting time before I was escorted to an exam room. Dr Goggin was very professional and polite through my whole appointment. I didn't feel rushed as he asked what my concerns were about my aging issues. He explained in detail what each of my face and neck complaints entailed from where sutures & staples would be placed, drain placement, post op down time and the slight chances of other medical problems that could arise afterward. He took notes, made some measurements and even took several "before" photos. When our session was over, I then went to another office where the dreaded estimates were quoted, the signing of paperwork, and financing options to look into. I also needed to get blood work and an EKG done prior to scheduling surgery. I started feeling overwhelmed. It was a lot for me to take in, but they never pressured me into making a decision and I was not made to feel obligated. I had a capsular contracture from my first set of implants (from the previous doctor) and had to find a surgeon right away to remove the old implants. I found Dr. Goggin online and he had amazing reviews. When I finally met with him he was so kind and concerned about my needs. Even after I had requested a certain style he gave me his input on a different type of implant, and I am so glad that I listened to him. This past October of 2021 i had a scheduled visit with Dr. James Goggin at the Plastic Surgery Center in Sacramento. I went in for a consultation for a brow lift as well as a neck lift. My consult with him was great. Dr. Goggin spent a lot of time going over the procedure process, answered all my questions and most importantly shared pictures of his past patient facial procedures. I was very pleased with my consultation and this Jan. 2022 I had both a brow lift and neck lift completed I can't tell you how happy I am with my facelift results!!!! he's office I was so excited and he made me feel so so comfortable I knew he would be the doctor to do my surgery! I used to weight 350 and was down to my 190's but had so much excess skin it ruined my daily life. I need a body lift and when I tell you this doctor did an amazing job I mean he did an amazing job the difference is a complete transformation. I didn't think my midsection could ever look like this with how much excess skin I had even after surgery. I'm only two weeks post op and my scars are healing nicely no doggy ears .The scar is as straight as I think he could of possibly gotten it . Sorry but had to do this. first I want to start by saying the staff was absolutely great but Dr.Goggin that's another story. I came in with my husband for a breast augmentation consult. I was so excited until I got there. He came in and did a quick hello and just started taking pictures. He did not once make my husband feel comfortable at all. I quickly became very uncomfortable. He was pinching my nipples and saying what all needed to be done. after all that he tells me he is not comfortable giving me the size that I want. such a waste of time. We were really upset. Dr. Goggin and his team at Sacramento Plastic Surgery Center are fantastic. I needed replacement surgery for breast implants from 15 years ago (*originally done by a different surgeon). My revision surgery was scheduled just 3 weeks from my consultation with Dr. Goggin, which was greatly appreciated. He provided his expert opinion to go ahead and re-do the original lift on both sides, also. The entire team--from receptionists, to nurses, to assistants, to scheduling--was warm, friendly, professional and encouraging. Dr. Goggin himself has a great sense of humor, coupled with his experience and professionalism, to put patients at-ease. Day-of surgery was likewise very smooth sailing: I felt valued, respected and supported through everything from pre-op through anesthesia through recovery. Very pleased with end result.
