After consultations with 3 different plastics (2 in FW & 1 in Dallas) I immediately knew after leaving Dr. K's initial consult, he was the surgeon for me. Where do I even begin with how pleased I am w/ the results of my breast augmentation. Dr. Kurkjian did my breast augmentation on a Thursday AM & the following day (Friday), I had to remind myself to take it easy because I just had surgery. That's how seamless the recovery has been. I also work in wound care and can tell you, Dr. K's technique is something of a rarity in terms of healing. Very mild tightness (on a pain scale of 1-10, barely even a 1) and this was for all of 2-3 days max. Dr. K is one talented plastics w/ what I would refer to as magical hands. My boobs are EXACTLY what I had envisioned and I truly could not be happier. They fit my body type perfectly. I also LOVE his NP equally as much. Ciera, YOU are awesome!!! Update - it's now a year after a revision by another surgeon who worked with another Mayo surgeon for a plan. 6.5 hr surgery. I was realistic as I knew my face wouldn't function or work normally again and my appearance couldn't be restored , but there are improvements. I can go outside without the excessive tearing. The reason Dr DrK said he couldn't do the revision (excessive swelling from flying in for surgery and living at high altitude) wasn't an issue. Found out I had cobra neck deformity, which is where they don't notice you have low salivary glands or that you neck muscles are a bit forward oriented - DrK had written on surgical note that I had "well placed submandibular glands." Not sure why he didn't realize my neck anatomy required a different approach. Also forgot I was a weight loss patient and didn't pull the neck skin appropriately. Told me that he told the resident "this almost looks like a weight loss neck," The bulge under the palsy eye that he attributed to a prior surgeon (that you'd think he would have corrected with his upper/loweer bleph) was actually a DrK poor fat graft lump by DrK.. I will never be able to not be reminded of this. The facial palsy side lid droops, and I'll always have the twitch and the flat cheek. Being on Zoom or Teams is so depressing. DrK did not stand by his work, and when he said he wouldn't do the revision did not help me find support. Old saying, "the true measure of a ps is how they deal with complications." Ignored most of mine, didn't document, and basically abandoned me. And now facing retirement, the financial hit has been devastating - don't have time to recover from it. I just don't understand how he markets himself as so meticulous with a discerning eye, world class training, great pics on social media and I end up like this. Be careful. read more

On October 14th, 2022, Dr. Kurkjian performed a rhinoplasty with the objective of creating a better shape. Instead, he pierced the lining of my inner nose to the outside, causing permanent visible scarring. Additionally, an ENT specialist advised he believes Dr. Kurjian caused internal scarring and now has to be operated on by the ENT specialist so I can breathe properly. Worse, my nose is in no better shape than before the surgery. The most disappointing aspect of the situation is the lack of empathy, long waits, and disorganization of the members of the office. I saw no evidence he tried to improve the poor behavior of his staff. However, he made some attempts to improve the results. I don't think he is a bad person. He tried to fix it through special treatments, but in the end, I am permanently scarred. My last appointment was in June of 2024. They made me wait an hour, but they had failed to properly record the appointment. Despite the mixup in their records, nobody asked why I was there and despite the appointment error, they never contacted me about their error. Nobody apologized for the error in the appointment, and despite my two-hour round-trip drive, nobody reached out as to how they messed up nor attempted to resolve the issue. I would strongly encourage you to avoid this office. I believe it is a mess and poorly run. I would recommend Dr. Spencer Cochran instead. Hopefully, someday, Dr. Kurkjian and his staff appreciate the time, money, and trust of his clients. My current plastic surgeon recommended that I find a clinic that can do dermal fillers, since he didn't perform that procedure. So I made an appointment for consultation with the Kurkjian clinic. I never got that consultation. When I arrived, someone claiming to be a nurse told me that they couldn't give me fillers because I've had plastic surgery and the filler will "mess it up." Apparently, it didn't matter that an actual board-certified plastic surgeon told me that I CAN get dermal fillers. Instead, they wanted to refer me to another doctor that they claimed does both surgery and fillers. But their recommendation turned out to be my current plastic surgeon! The one that DOESN'T do fillers! When I confronted Whitney about this lie, she just kind of brushed it aside and picked a different name out of the phone book - this one in another city, over an hour away. I think she wanted to make sure that I hadn't already been to that one as well. I'll never know the real reason why they didn't want to treat me. But I do know that they give lame excuses and tell flat-out lies. So in a way, I'm glad that they didn't want to treat me. read more

Sorry English is not my first language. But anyone want to get ethnic rhinoplasty, specially asianrhinoplasty, I do not recommend to come here!! I feel I was the first person he did that procedure on me. The result is terrible, I earned money to get mine done. The cost is very high. Mine is over 12k. But the result was stress me out. The donated rib cartilage that he put in my nose was bended, make my nostril and the base looks so uneven. That is the reason why I can not breath on one of my nostril. I asked him and he said because of my cheekbone was high. I was like what? That's not make sense. Why it related to my cheekbone? After 8months, the tip of the nose show up the corner of the cartilage, it pop up on my tip nose skin. My nose looked terrible. It crooked, the tip is bulbous. I was very upset. I trusted the wrong place to put my hope. In 8months post op appointment, he said my nose looks good?? I really did not see anywhere is good on my nose. He said he is gonna reshape it again. But what? How can I trust to let him do my nose again. He said I got 2 options, one is reshape and he gonna put filler in??? Omg, i can not believe that a doctor say that. Put filler in the already ethnic rhinoplasty procedure??? And I would never come back there to let him redo it. What if the result is worse. Now, it has been a year 3 months. I found somewhere else to get the revision. They took out that rib cartilage bended in my nose. I can breath easily again. I couldn't say enough good words if I tried. I feel like Dr. Kurkjian literally changed my life by taking something I've always been insecure with and changing it into something that has increased my every day comfort and confidence ten-fold. I originally went in for a breast reduction/lift consultation, and per his recommendation we ended up doing a lipo-only reduction, which is a more rare procedure and only works well in specific cases. I could not be more glad I trusted him and went with his recommendation--trust the experts! I saw huge results immediately following surgery and I know they'll only continue to get better! Him and his whole staff are amazing; shout out to Tiffany and Angela who were always so helpful and kind, and the women at the front desk as well who always made me feel welcome. Everyone is always patient and never makes you feel rushed or needy for asking too many questions. The wait time in office is practically non existent--the staff does a great job of maintaining the day to day schedule and I was always in and out very quickly (even if I hadn't have been, it would still be worth it). The surgery itself was so easy; the recovery was practically nothing. In fact, my wrist was more sore from the anesthesia IV than the parts of my body that were actually operated on. Shout out to City Surgery Center as well, their staff there were so personable and had me laughing the whole morning before surgery. I'm genuinely just so happy. I feel like a new person. I keep thinking, "you should've done this YEARS ago!" The injector girl was really nice. They didn't have the filler I was looking for so I didn't any services done. While I was having the consult someone knocked on the door a few times to, "check in" It made the appointment feel rushed overly rushed. But the main reason I wouldn't go back is because of the front desk girl with the huge ring and way to many injections and plastic surgery, is very rude and cold. She came off as very judgy, stuck up, and unwelcoming. And she definitely doesn't have a customer service type of personality. read more

This review isn't based off the doctor or injector here, but rather the front desk person who completely put me off from making an appointment. I called Tuesday, 9-22 at around 8:30 am. The woman who answered the phone was rude off the bat. I told her I wanted to make a consult with Cari. She asked me for what procedure and I told her my lips, and also to dissolve some extra filler placed in my smile lines. Immediately, she said "Okay well lips are $675 and it's $300 to dissolve." Um, excuse me? She said it in such a way as though to insinuate I couldn't afford it. I never once asked for the price. Why would you give out that information unless asked? Isn't that what a consult is for? Her overall brash tone and discourteous demeanor was a bad enough experience to keep me from wanting to book an appointment. She came across like she would rather be anywhere than at work. From the moment she answered the phone, her outward manifestation of personality was just plain poor. Sad, I was looking forward to seeing Cari. Business owner, it would be wise to refresh this employee on the topic of proper phone etiquette. They need it. read more

Still suffering from my thigh lift. I noticed that Dr. Kurkgian does not offer this procedure to preform any longer. I can not do yoga any longer as too much skin was cut off. My suffering lasted 4 month in bed and I had the procedure redone for times as the skin would not remain closed. Happy to know that he is still not doing the procedure any longer for now. I feel like I don't have enough words to describe how wonderful Dr. Kurkjian and his staff have been. During my consultation I enlightened him on what I was wanting out of this. This practice is a very inexperienced practice with very inexperienced office management. Co-payments that have been over collected at time of service, remain unresolved as insurance processing was not completed in a timely manner. As a plastic surgeon would not recommend Dr. Kurkjian either. Very simple incision work was done very poorly. No written follow up procedures given for pain management or aftercare.
