Missie CoCo is in a cute little bungalow off of Chapel street, and from the second you walk through the door you'll feel relaxed. You're kind of wafted with scents of citrus as you walk down the hall to the front desk. Seriously, I'm not kidding - this place smells absolutely amazing. They have a great array of beauty products to check out while you wait for your appointment, and they'll usually offer you some water as well. The ladies here offer all kinds of services, from make-up to waxing, and I've never heard a single bad thing about any of them. They have great bedside manner and you always end up walking out of there feeling confident and ready to face the world! I usually see the same woman each visit, but occasionally she's been away so I've had to see someone else, and every single beautician has been outstanding. 5 STARS! I started…read moreoff with simply wanting a lip liner but after having that done, I was so impressed with Shelley's work that I kept going back for more until I got the full package. I couldn't be happier. I now look good from the moment I wake up in the morning. My lips especially look awesome. I had always had thin, crooked-looking lips. The older I got, the paler they got, until my mouth looked more like a line on my face than a mouth. Now they look full and sexy and I can throw away all my lipsticks and lip liners! Hooray! This is much cheaper and safer and more natural looking than having to continually get lip fillers. My eyes look fantastic too. I decided I was at the point in my life where I wanted to make a change in my looks. Plastic surgery seemed too drastic; however, I had never been happy with my thin lips or sparse eyebrows. I asked people who I could tell had tried permanent makeup but then I realized that if they looked so obviously like they had it done, then maybe it wasn't natural looking enough for me. Also, the people who had their eyebrows done gave me the info on who did theirs and the pix on the website of the lips looked too amateurish. The lip lines were jagged, the smiles looked a little crooked. Also, I didn't see a lot of people who had the whole lip filled in. It defeats the purpose of permanent lip makeup if you are forced to apply lipstick anyway, right? So, I went back and now I have the whole shebang: eyebrows, eyeliner, lash enhancement, lip liner and lip filler. I couldn't be more pleased. She really takes her time for several reasons. First, because she consults with you on what you want, then does a trial run with regular makeup to make sure you're on the same page. Secondly, she takes time to make sure you are comfortable and tries to make it as painless as possible. Thirdly is because she is a perfectionist. Her hands are so steady and talented, she should've been a surgeon! She has a special technique with reshaping the eyebrows that actually made me look younger. I couldn't be happier.
