I've been hunting for a trustworthy and "the right" chiropractor for years now and I can honestly say, I found that with The Source. We drive ~45 mins to get to them but they are worth every traffic battle. Here's my long winded experience in case you are on the fence about seeing them: The first time patient visit encompasses everything you wished your previous chiropractors would do - testing your mobility and movement, resistance and strength, any aches or pains or discomfort or concerns - not just with a piece of paper where you write all of these things down but with you moving, walking, squatting, and provider guided testing. It was a process that was not rushed, very informative, and extremely appreciated. Both my husband and I felt seen and heard from our very first visit - really from the very first phone call when I inquired about care I felt that way. I've never had that much of an in-depth on-boarding patient experience before. The treatment plans, for both my husband and I, were thoughtfully laid out and explained and got us excited about the care. I am postpartum with my second born and my career is hard on my body - I have been being treated for almost 3 months now and I can adequately say I feel different in the best way. I've had a rib that's been out of position for 20 years that was repositioned into it's appropriate place (ouch during recovery but WORTH IT) and I no longer have a "drop shoulder" and I can breathe deeper. My posture is better and I am more mindful with my ergonomics while working. My pelvic floor is getting stronger and my low back pain when bending over is gone. I used to get extreme headaches when jumping up and down and now I can jump around with my kids without issue (it was explained to me why I get headaches when I jump and how they can help correct this). 10/10 thankful over here. My husband has also been in care with The Source for almost 3 months and he is leaps and bounds better than when he first walked in the door. He has dealt with chronic pain for 10+ years, mood outbursts from that pain, and restrictions. He's been to physical therapy, chronic pain doctors, pain management and rolfing massage therapists, myofascial unwinding specialists, and now chiropractic care. He still has a long way to recovery but he's in the best hands. I now have a 3rd to add to this elite list: Dr Brett. I give he and his wife, Marielle, the strongest possible recommendation. They set the gold standard for what chiropractic care should be. The environment and practice they have curated are stellar and completely unique. The office is located in what clearly used to be a single family, Florida bungalow years ago and rather than gutting and ripping out all the walls to make a sterile environment, they retained all the charm, which makes for a very welcoming and soothing atmosphere. In addition to the visual appeal of their office, they have also taken into account the sense of smell and sound. I have never encountered another health care facility as thoughtfully put together as theirs. And it sounds obvious to state that a chiropractor takes a hands-on approach, but in the 5 years I have lived in Florida Dr. Brett is the first to give me an adjustment that actually felt like a proper chiropractic adjustment. He is guided by the x-rays when developing a treatment plan, but he very much relies on what his hands are feeling and tailors his adjustments accordingly.
