I really enjoy the Joint's no hassle and no nonsense business model, and the fact that they have locations across the country so I can stop in for treatment when needed when I am away from home. They pull up my file and have all of my historical information available so they know exactly where I stand from previous visits and can adjust accordingly. Have been a client of the joint off and on for a few years, about 3 months this time at this location. I have some on going issues in my low back, and regular adjustments help to keep me on track with good mobility and out of pain. Prior to my first visit here, I was seeing another chiropractor in the area. My treatments were okay, it was the cost that was a problem. Went in thinking I would be good with 1-2 visits a month, and of course the doc wanted me to come in 2 times a week at $30 a session. The challenge of course is this gets expensive, and that was just my office co-pay, as they were also billing my insurance. After a few weeks it was time for a change. At The Joint, I pay $70 a month and go once a week. I feel great and for at least half the cost of what I would pay elsewhere. No need for appointments, rarely more than a short wait, most days I am in and out within 15 minutes. My treatments have been great, and while bills are something no one looks forward to paying, this one is not so bad. I actually live about 20 min away, but worth the drive. If you have a serious injury, this is not the place for you. But if you just need some ongoing adjustments to maintain your alignment, this place is great. read more

Unsavory business practices. I had a temporary back ailment and went in for 1 month of treatment. The Joint subsequently charged me for an additional 11 months, the most recent charge coming a few days ago. The charges were difficult to detect as they were being withdrawn from my spouse's HSA account with limited reporting. They refuse to refund, referencing their "subscription" business model. This is a predatory practice of the worst sort, taking advantage of the unwitting when they are most under pain and duress. read more

The girl at the front desk was very polite and kind. The lady who was supposed to be taking care of me was SO rude and dismissive. I've been in pain for years and when I was explaining my symptoms/daily pain areas she would get smirky and dismissive about my problems. She even had the guts to laugh at me (as if I didn't have a real reason to be there). She cracked my neck (WITHOUT ANY WARNING) and TRIED to crack my back but couldn't even do it correctly on both sides. It was 90% talking to me in a condescending way and 10% bad chiropractic service. My family and I have been going to the Joint for over a year now, and we love our maintenance adjustments. Our favorite location is here in Saint Pete in the Northeast Park Shopping Center on 37th. We go to the gym and straight to our adjustments all in the same plaza. Dr Tanner and Dr Blaike are ahhhmazing! I'm a retired Army veteran at the age of 42 and I couldn't see my month without these guys. My back and shoulders are a constant issue and it's nice to get things aligned so I can function like a normal person. My pain has really increased but when it's adjusted all is well until I work again . These Dr's are amazing and very personable which is key while getting CRACKED on the table. The atmosphere in there is so genuinely positive, relaxing and friendly - it gives you a feeling of inner calmness from the second that you enter to when you leave. The staff was amazing! I have always been afraid of chiropractors; the first time I got hurt while I was training, some friends asked me to visit one but I didn't want to do it. A couple of weeks ago I hurt myself and the pain was unbearable so I decided to give it a try. I was nervous and unsure but Dr. Squire took the time to talk to me and explain what was happening and how he could help me. The relief was immediate! Not all the pain was gone after the first visit, but I was able to move much better. I continued going once a week and after just a couple of weeks the pain was completely gone. Called on 1/13 to ask about hours and becoming a new patient, the receptionist explains they do not do appointments and tells me to come in at 10am on 1/14. I arrive on 10/14, fill out paperwork and wait 30 min only to be told the other new patient who walked in after me had an appointment and I'll need to wait. What? When I asked the receptionist how that is possible since they don't do appointments her response was "we try to accommodate everyone". Clearly that didn't include me since I called and tried to make an appointment the day before. They may be good chiropractors but I don't need to waste my time with an office that is run that way. read more

As a nurse (and small business owner), I'm on my feet constantly. A little over a year ago I developed plantar fasciitis. Just love, love the St. Pete location!! As with any chain, not all locations are the same. I signed up at another location but decided to try the one closer to my workplace. Dr. Blake is phenomenal! In fact the whole office environment is spacious, inviting and, my favorite, gets me in and out fast. It actually take me longer to drive there than the visit takes. I never feel rushed and they offer good advice on maintaining my adjustment. My mental clarity has improved right along with my energy and reduction in back pain. Yay!! read more

The receptionist that works there (she's an older lady) is the most rudest receptionist I have ever encountered! I went there with two of my friends because they recommended me to go here to get my spine cracked. My friend had a coupon for a free visit and the receptionist told her rudely that it was not valid at all, my friend politely tried to explain to the receptionist that she was the one that gave her that coupon of course the receptionist answered very rudely to her saying that that was not true at all and it's not valid, so she accused my friend of lying, she accused the patient that's been going there for over a year!! so she continued to treat my friend and I very rudely and also treated us as dumb little kids that didn't know anything!!! Mind you there was other patients coming in that she treated perfectly fine and very respectful which I found very upsetting because those patients were white Americans and my friends and I are not white Americans we are a different nationality's!! Another bad experience that I had with this same receptionist is that I called to cancel my membership because I had gotten very sick with the flu and I did not feel comfortable going in To cancel my membership because I had just recently finished getting sick, she was not understanding whatsoever she didn't care that I felt uncomfortable to go in to cancel my membership, she didn't care that I just finished getting sick which you would think she would understand because we're in the middle of a pandemic but nope she did not care at all she was very rude on the phone didn't help me at all!!! at the end of the call she said I'll try to forward your number to someone else and they might contact you but if not you're gonna have to pay the full membership fee and I continued to explain to her that that's not fair because I only used my membership once since I got it but she continued not to care and said the same thing, my patience was very low at that point so I decided to end the conversation because clearly you can't have a conversation with a very rude person. I would not recommend this place to anyone due to how horrible this receptionist treated my friends and I!!! Here's a piece of advice find a different receptionist that isn't rude, has manners and has respect for patients even if they're a different color!!!! read more
