ANXIETY, all the ANXIETY. I recently went here as I need to have a quick ear check up. The few…read morepositive reviews and the nice receptionist over the phone made me feel like this was the right choice...yes, not so much. Per many dr. offices I called in advance from my car. They told me I could come up and up to me if I wanted to fill the paperwork in my car or in the waiting room. I should have opted for the car, I will take personal responsibility for this. Regardless though, there were questionable covid practices. Please see my list below: -There were quite a number of people in the waiting room. There were no markers on chairs on where to sit. I simply stood and moved around the whole time. At one point there were so many people in there you could not sit 6 feet apart! -There was a patient in the room who kept opting to wear his mask on his chin. I had to ask the staff twice to speak to him. They seemed uncomfortable doing so- like wait, you should keep all of us safe? -While they took temperatures, it was ONLY once you were to enter the back area. So wait, you're telling me I can stay in the waiting room with sick people for 45+ min and then BOOM you figure out they have a temperature before getting to your area? -The wait was 45+ minutes...like COME ON. Give a heads up, tell patients to wait in their car. - I honestly cannot even remember if they had hand sanitizer out! Luckily, i had my own..along with my own pen and mask. At least I can protect myself if a drs. office cannot. I did not find safety was their top priority. I still have much anxiety a few days later and will likely get myself tested to be on the safe side. Thanks, but no, thanks. I will not be back in 1 year for a check-up. I shall be finding a safer and clean practice.

This was one of the most jarring medical experiences I've ever had. From the moment I arrived, the…read moretone was cold, dismissive, and completely devoid of compassion. I paid for a consultation and left feeling disrespected. The surgeon seemed disinterested from the beginning, interrupting constantly and responding to concerns with smug, passive-aggressive and slightly creepy remarks. Rather than listening or engaging with empathy, he treated the entire conversation like a performance--one in which he needed to feel superior, and I was expected to play along. Here's the truth: It's already hard enough to go through surgery. To live in a body that doesn't feel like your own. To come in seeking help. But what makes it worse--what adds lasting damage--is when a doctor chooses to be cruel instead of kind. Especially when that cruelty is completely unprovoked and done to a vulnerable person seeking support. It's perfectly reasonable for a surgeon not to want a case. But what's not fine is treating someone who showed up with hope, vulnerability, and money in hand like they are a nuisance or a problem to be managed. This wasn't medical care--it was an ego trip. And it left me feeling icked out, with a negative perception of a person who could have helped me. If you value a sliver of emotional intelligence, integrity, professionalism, empathy, or even basic respect in a dr, look elsewhere.

I met with Donna Fay and the nurse Heather Rypien, who made me feel very comfortable during my consultation for fillers and a thread lift. They were both very knowledgeable and embracing. I felt very comfortable and confident in what they were explaining to me. I would highly recommend anybody to visit Dr. Steven Pearlman's office for any type of cosmetic treatment.

I had the surgery, after the surgery I realized that I was one of the few people to get what is called a dog's ear, which is a lump of skin at the bottom of the incision. I went to the office multiple times for steroid injections. I was told to wait a few years to see if it would flatten out. It did not. I just left from his office after a consultation with him, he is going to fix the dogs ear himself. He was very polite and explained a lot of things about how the procedure was preformed that the other doctor who had done the surgery did not. I am looking forward to seeing the progress :)

I have now consulted with 20 plastic surgeons. I have tried almost everything - acupuncture. LLLT stands for low-level laser therapy, massage, nerve pills, etc. Two different NYC surgeons performed the two major surgeries. Each surgery helped somewhat; however, it was not enough as I am still in search of relief. The nightmare continues as my bank account dwindles. I would trade my discomfort for a visible scar running across my face. Please learn from my mistake, and let me say it is better to feel good than to look good. From what I understand, Dr. Jacono is under investigation by the Office of Professional Conduct. No surprise here.
