They have had my laptop for over 2 weeks. Their estimate when I brought it in for a new battery was 5 days. I called 3 days ago and they still didn't have the battery but assured me they'd have it by yesterday and it would be installed same day. I called this morning and got answering service. I left a message for a call back on status of the repair. After receiving no callback, I called them again this afternoon only to learn they are closed. Soonest I will know anything will be in 3 days when they reopen. I had to pay the costs of the new battery up front and still have no idea whether they ordered and received it. I wanted to support a local business but that seems like maybe a bad idea in retrospect. read more

Moved to a new place and suddenly my PC would not connect to Spectrum Wi-Fi. I spent a day running network fix-it programs, checking the wireless adapter, you name it. This is my home business computer, so I finally took it to Dr Networking. They fixed it in 15 minutes for $35. This is the second time they've saved my butt. took 4 months to get my computer back. Came in with a minor problem that needed fixing and didn't see my computer for months. Never in the office when promised he'd be there. Very hard communication. When we finically revived the computer it was missing screws. Very bad time for this to happen while only attempting online classes. do not recommend. read more

He obviously loves what he does and he is extremely knowledgable. I was very unimpressed with the service, and outraged by how much I was charged. I originally thought it would be a good idea to keep it local support an Ashland business, but it took them 3 days, and cost me almost 700 dollars to replace a fried hard drive. On top of that when I asked the secretary about the cost, why it was costing me 2/3 the price of my computer to simply put in a new hard drive (which I know how to do), she got extremly defensive and eventually began screaming at me. In the end, I payed for my new hard drive, and left. 2 months later my new hard drive fried again, meaning all that extra cost of the diagnosis was worthless and they didn't do a thing. I went to conncrting point in Medford the next day explained what ha happened and on the spot they told me what it probably was (a motherboard issue) for free, and I went home and ordered and installed a new one myself. read more

When we moved from Portland to Ashland one of the things I was worried about was not having an Apple store nearby. I needn't have worried. How unhelpful can employees be? Just study the people at Dr. Networking in Ashland. -The (unnamed) girl who did the actual work gave me two options as a fix. I selected one of the options but when I got home I found out she had actually installed the other (unselected) option. Now I can't even find a "delete" button on the installed program. -The same employee has a bad habit of - without notice - putting you on hold and sending your call to the front desk person. Not once but 3 times! -The front desk person needs to go to charm school. He does not have a cool head at all. He is happy to yell at you and hang up on you. This did not happen to just me. When I walked into Dr. Networking's office this male was having a yelling contest with a telephone customer. Later, when I was standing by his desk to pick up my computer he was having a heated conversation with a walk in customer. -Nearly 24 hours later neither my husband nor myself has been able to locate a "delete" button. I will not walk in the door by myself so my husband has volunteered to seek help with the "delete" button. I have used Dr. Networking for several occasions, both new owners and the old ones, but guess I'll be looking for another computer repair business. read more

I spent 3 hours trying to trouble shoot my iPhone iPad wifi setup with my printer. Then I called Dr Networking! Cliff was at my door at right on time. We discussed the problem for a couple of minutes and Cliff went to work to cure the problem. Twenty minutes later it was fixed! Cliff pointed out where the printed instructions were unclear and then showed several new functions of the setup. The service was not cheap but it was discussed up front and the visit was professional. Most importantly the set up worked perfectly. Highly recommend! read more
