But I simply did not get the haircut I requested…read more I went in with medium/long hair asking for a simple trim of an inch off the back and another inch off of the top. I wanted maintenance and the bangs out of my eyes. But, I left with a totally different drastically shorter hairstyle that I didn't request. I even specifically told the stylist not to cut the sides since the stiffness of my hair causes it to stick out unless it's long enough to comb back. As you can see from the pic - the sides were cut and now stick-out. The pic also shows that the back is also awkwardly squared-off. So, I'm forced to find another stylist to fix what was done (which will sadly cause me to have an even shorter cut). I estimate it will take 3-4 months to grow back the damage done. My guess is that if you have very short hair that needs periodic maintenance, or, if you want that luxurious barbershop shave and men's spa vibe. This might be a great spot for you. They also have an entire section for mani/pedis that look super comfortable for dudes. So there's that too. But, I can't say it's a place where you'll get the cut you ask for.

My wife had booked a surprise for me here, for my birthday. I walked in and was warmly greated by everyone, and they even wished a happy birthday. I got into the barber's chair and he asked how I'd like my haircut. I explained and he quickly got to work. In no time my hair was cut, and it looked great. Then it was time to work on the face. Now I wish I knew all the things they did to my face, but what I can tell you is that it was a relaxing and enjoyable experience. I know it was shaved with a straight razor, scrubbed, moisturized, had hot towels and cold towels placed on it. The shave and all facial things lasted about 30 min.
