Dr. Peter Hung-Kwong Wong is fantastic and he has been my family doctor for over 15 years! Not only…read moreis he knowledgeable and has excellent clinical skills, but he treats his patients with much kindness and patience that sadly is not as common in healthcare anymore. I always felt listened to and really appreciate how he takes the time to fully understand my concerns and answer all of my questions.  I'll always remember how Dr. Wong took my mom's chest pains seriously and got her to see a cardiologist asap (we eventually learned that she did have a serious heart condition that needed a procedure done right away), he helped diagnose my father's cancer, and always treated my grandparents in a warm, kind and respectful way. The list can go on. Looking at the other reviews, I understand and agree that the office seems to cater towards Chinese speaking patients. My parents and grandparents speak Mandarin Chinese, so this was a plus for my family, but I can see where there might be misunderstandings and/or miscommunication and cultural differences for those who do not speak Chinese.  For wait time: Sometimes I'm seen right away, but usually I'd have a 20-30 minute wait. I'm willing to wait to be seen because of all my previous positive experiences.  Overall, I have a fantastic experience with Dr. Wong and his office and would highly recommend him as a primary care provider (!), especially if you or your family member is of Chinese heritage.

Please be ware of this place!! It is a scam to just get money. Dont get fooled by the positive…read morereviews. I also ignored a similar review about money and still went there to get trapped. They book a "meet and greet" session for new patients. I asked them 4-5 times before the appointment, how much it will cost after giving all my insurance info. All of their team assured me that it will be 0$ co-pay for me as it is only a meet and greet where Dr. will just get to know you. Guess what, they billed my insurance 700$ after the appointment, out of which they are asking me to pay 300$. This is a scam. And the Dr. did nothing in this appointment, no advice/tests nothing, other than me sharing about my medical history and past test results and my concerns. I got to know that there are California laws against this, I will be filing a legal complaint Update: I called their billing office as Dr suggested in his response and told them I'd report them to the medical board. They said they will file the claim with insurance with a different code to see if they can bring the cost lower. You know what they did instead? They sent the bill to collections immediately. No warning, no attempt to resolve, no accountability. Just pure, disgusting greed and lies in every interaction. This place runs on lies, shady billing tactics, and a complete lack of ethics. And if you dare to speak up, they'll come after you. Because that is their business to suck up on your hard earned money $325 isn't going to ruin me -- but this kind of disgusting thug behavior is what unfortunately defames entire healthcare. I hope this "doctor" Iwahashi loses every patient who reads this. They don't deserve your money, your trust, or your time.

He knew the treatment options and was able to explain them. He was good with middle aged women and men. Not sure he did a full exam but he did give me some good advice that changed the course of a very painful injury. And he is just and employee of OM and not a boss as one person said. Just because he has the MD doesn't make him in charge but who knows maybe now he does have a new admin position in this form of health care delivery?

Called O.M. after joining and made appointment for today, Monday, Dec. 8. On Friday, Dec. 5 late afternoon, just ONE business day before the appt., I get a call from O.M. telling me Dr. Fell's office cancelled my appt. because they do not accept new patients anymore. 1. Why was appt. available and booked if Dr. Fell does not accept new patients anymore? 2. Why notify me end of day on Friday, one business day before the actual appt? 3. Why not having the decency/courtesy to call me directly to let me know? Perhaps Dr. Fell is indeed a good doctor (I did not get a chance to experience), however, given the way HIS office/people handled this matter, makes him a terrible leader. And as we all know, the buck stops with the boss. Disappointing, to say the least.
