Wait this place is suchhh a vibe! Coziest little spot for brews (a few other drink options if you're not a huge beer drinker). I'd been into the Shorewood location many of times, but this was somehow a first for the Tosa spot. It's darkish but also very inviting. Plenty of bar seating, plus high tops, comfy little wooden booths, and couches. Also low lighting from various cool light fixtures that play into the overall ambiance. They have a solid 30 drink options on the menu to choose from. If you're into craft beer, this is absolutely a spot for you. My dad and brother tried various brews and chatted with the knowledgeable bartender. My mom and I on the other hand weren't feeling beer, so we opted for the paloma cocktail on tap. Really tasty! Tart and not too sweet. Would love to come back in the warmer months and enjoy the patio space I saw (currently covered in snow, ugh). I hear food trucks are often on-site too which is awesome.

One of my new favorite hangout spots! We were looking for a low-key spot to have a few drinks and play cribbage and this worked perfectly. I love that they have tap cocktails in addition to beer to cater to a variety of tastes. I had the Negroni and Paloma- both were great! Our bartender was great too! Looking forward to coming back in summer when the patio is open!

Very nice craft cocktails and a great selection of beers. Cute ambiance. It's great on a nice day as well since there is ample outdoor seating. We had an unexpected welcomed surprise- Maxine and Motor dropped in to hang out!!

One of the best craft beer and spirits bars I've been to, with a small but mighty can/bottle selection as well. Staff is friendly, engaging, and extremely knowledgeable. So many options on draft, ranging from local favorites like 1840 and Eagle Park, to rare treats like Trillium. Prices are very reasonable. Love the business model, especially hearing the manager talk about his views on the current whiskey trends and how he wants to feature approachable, excellent options that aren't your typical Buffalo Trace, hype-heavy products. Excellent decor and vibe inside, a must for any craft beer and spirit fan when visiting the area.

As a non-beer lover I am pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoy this place! They have a wide variety of beers, seltzers, kombucha and have recently added tap craft cocktails as well. My friends rented out their beer classroom space for a private party, and it was incredible. Being able to have that whole space to ourselves, enclosed in the winter with our own music and food was so much fun. We made a nice charcuterie spread on the back wall, and the pups were able to run around off leash in the interior of the space. Having our dogs with us makes it so we want to stay longer and enjoy everything, so that is a huge plus for me! They also allow you to try a sample of a beer or seltzer if it is on tap before you buy, so you get to make sure you like it before you buy a full glass which I really enjoy. As a local, dog friendly place, I do recommend it!

We came here for some pre-dinner drinks on a Wed night and it was so cozy and festive, and not too busy which was a plus! The bartender was so sweet and gave me lots of tasters before I decided on the Vienna Lager (so good!). The lounge area with chairs and a couch set a great mood to enjoy a couple beers after hitting the Christmas Market. They have the coolest mapping of beers on the wall, honestly so informative to understand what beers come from what family (with specific examples of each one) and what glasses to drink them in. Downtown Tosa was so cute and we look forward to going back!

Draft & Vessel is your craft beer headquarters, and their new location in the Tosa Village looks like it will be extremely popular! Open now for carryout and private rental room, the main room should be open soon! There was a small group enjoying the private room, which has its own electronic menu on the wall, we stopped in to enjoy a beer and to build a carryout package. The carryout options were plenty, with some of the latest and greatest cans lined up for a build your own six pack, or full four and six pack can carryout. The staff expertly curated a six pack of IPAs and Sours for me, based on my likes. We loved the new modern building construction and a small outdoor patio in back should be a nice hang in the summer. What a great new addition in Wauwatosa!

They do a tremendous job of explaining the menu and food options in detail, and ensure you have a great experience from start to finish. The drinks? Nothing short of amazing. They vary the featured cocktails menu every 8 weeks, so most likely you'll get a different experience every time you go. However you can always get your classic cocktails like Margaritas, French 75 and Martinis. They also can do any drink NA which is the first of its kind in the US. They have an option called dealers choice, where you can pick the spirit and flavor profile of the drink you want: spicy, sour, floral, smoky etc. no limits! You write down on a card what you want and they craft you a cocktail based on your selections. They also offer a variety of food pairings to go along with the select, featured drink you order. We got spring rolls, a braised, pork infused doughnut, and an incredible bone broth that still has me in a tizzy. Fair warning: it's small and difficult to get a reservation - don't try your luck walking in, this place is a hot ticket and you won't be able to get in without a resy, which could be weeks or months out. This is a true gem of a cocktail bar, and is as good as anything you would find in New York or Chicago.

We stopped here after dinner, so we stuck mostly with the cocktails. Unfortunately, nothing on the seasonal menu really stuck out to me. I stuck with the "traditional" cocktails (spicy watermelon bubblegum, and then banana daiquiri). Hubs went for the halo halo food (which was so cute! All the typical ingredients but served in cubist fashion), and the paired drink. The paired drink was supposed to have different layers of flavor, but they all mixed together quite a bit. Tasty, just not the "layered" experience we thought. I think they almost do themselves a disservice comparing themselves to the aviary - that is a crazy high bar to meet. Granted, maybe we would have been more impressed if we had more of the seasonal cocktails despite them not seeming interesting? Probably wouldnt go out of my way to go here again, but it is a cool vibe and the cocktails were good.

I love all the air plants they have and the dark interior really does make it more of a "classy dive" as their name suggests. We came here for a Sunday lunch and to catch the Brewers game. They had a three dollar special on domestics when we went, which was cool. Our server was nice and our orders came out promptly. The food was absolutely delicious. I was blown away by it actually. When I go to dive bars, I don't have the highest expectations for the food because usually the food is mediocre. However, at this bar, it really blew me away. I had the ODB smashburger with regular fries. The burger was juicy and flavorful with such a fluffy, soft bun. I love that they put crispy onion straws in it for a little crunch. The fries are steak fries. They had some beer batter type of coating that made them so crispy and yummy. I'm glad I stumbled upon this place. I look forward to coming back to catch another game and eat their delicious food!

We started with the really big pretzel and birria nachos. Both appetizers were HUGE! Everyone loved the pretzel. It was soft with a perfectly crisp outside and did not have a dry inside like a lot of the soft pretzels I order out. The cheese dip was excellent too. The nachos were fantastic--loved the pickled onions. They were a unique and tasty addition. After the large appetizers, we realized we didn't have room for full entrees. Everyone ordered some wings. I really wanted to try the hot sauce but was scared to commit. Our server was super friendly and brought me some out to test with bread. Loved the flavor, but it was indeed too hot for me. I went with the garlic parm sauce (so good). My son got a side of the Mac and cheese which I thought was delicious. Cavatappi noodles, breadcrumbs, oh my! ODB's menu might feature some "typical bar food" but it is realllllllly good bar food. The menu has a great variety of choices but isn't too big and overwhelming like a lot of places. The bar looked fun too, there was a dj and everything. I'll be back (probably for that birria sandwich I had my eyes on!).
