[[HIGHLIGHT]]Wait this place is suchhh a vibe! Coziest little spot for brews (a few other drink options if you're not a huge beer drinker).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'd been into the Shorewood location many of times, but this was somehow a first for the Tosa spot. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's darkish but also very inviting. Plenty of bar seating, plus high tops, comfy little wooden booths, and couches. Also low lighting from various cool light fixtures that play into the overall ambiance.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They have a solid 30 drink options on the menu to choose from. If you're into craft beer, this is absolutely a spot for you. My dad and brother tried various brews and chatted with the knowledgeable bartender. My mom and I on the other hand weren't feeling beer, so we opted for the paloma cocktail on tap. Really tasty! Tart and not too sweet. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Would love to come back in the warmer months and enjoy the patio space I saw (currently covered in snow, ugh).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I hear food trucks are often on-site too which is awesome.

One of my new favorite hangout spots! [[HIGHLIGHT]]We were looking for a low-key spot to have a few drinks and play cribbage and this worked perfectly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I love that they have tap cocktails in addition to beer to cater to a variety of tastes. I had the Negroni and Paloma- both were great! Our bartender was great too! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Looking forward to coming back in summer when the patio is open![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Very nice craft cocktails and a great selection of beers. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute ambiance.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's great on a nice day as well since there is ample outdoor seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We had an unexpected welcomed surprise- Maxine and Motor dropped in to hang out!![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

One of the best craft beer and spirits bars I've been to, with a small but mighty can/bottle selection as well. Staff is friendly, engaging, and extremely knowledgeable. So many options on draft, ranging from local favorites like 1840 and Eagle Park, to rare treats like Trillium. Prices are very reasonable. Love the business model, especially hearing the manager talk about his views on the current whiskey trends and how he wants to feature approachable, excellent options that aren't your typical Buffalo Trace, hype-heavy products. Excellent decor and vibe inside, a must for any craft beer and spirit fan when visiting the area.

As a non-beer lover I am pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoy this place! They have a wide variety of beers, seltzers, kombucha and have recently added tap craft cocktails as well. My friends rented out their beer classroom space for a private party, and it was incredible. Being able to have that whole space to ourselves, enclosed in the winter with our own music and food was so much fun. We made a nice charcuterie spread on the back wall, and the pups were able to run around off leash in the interior of the space. Having our dogs with us makes it so we want to stay longer and enjoy everything, so that is a huge plus for me! They also allow you to try a sample of a beer or seltzer if it is on tap before you buy, so you get to make sure you like it before you buy a full glass which I really enjoy. As a local, dog friendly place, I do recommend it!

We came here for some pre-dinner drinks on a Wed night and it was so cozy and festive, and not too busy which was a plus! The bartender was so sweet and gave me lots of tasters before I decided on the Vienna Lager (so good!). The lounge area with chairs and a couch set a great mood to enjoy a couple beers after hitting the Christmas Market. They have the coolest mapping of beers on the wall, honestly so informative to understand what beers come from what family (with specific examples of each one) and what glasses to drink them in. Downtown Tosa was so cute and we look forward to going back!

Draft & Vessel is your craft beer headquarters, and their new location in the Tosa Village looks like it will be extremely popular! Open now for carryout and private rental room, the main room should be open soon! There was a small group enjoying the private room, which has its own electronic menu on the wall, we stopped in to enjoy a beer and to build a carryout package. The carryout options were plenty, with some of the latest and greatest cans lined up for a build your own six pack, or full four and six pack can carryout. The staff expertly curated a six pack of IPAs and Sours for me, based on my likes. We loved the new modern building construction and a small outdoor patio in back should be a nice hang in the summer. What a great new addition in Wauwatosa!

I have been anxiously watching this space in its develop and couldn't wait to get inside. Last night I had my chance with a soft opening. I'm happy to report, the wait was worth it. Wow- such an amazing transformation. Killer space- much larger than it looks at first glance. Make sure to explore and move about. Killer beverages- tons of fun to sample! And the staff was awesome. Not one sleeper in the group. They were not only friendly and fun but knowledgeable. We live in the neighborhood and can't wait to come back!

Wanted to like this place but the bartender was so rude. Way too many places with overpriced drinks to waste your time here.

The waitstaff will walk you through how that works your first time. We started with some of the taste & share plates - showing off WI cheese to the out of towners - and then a few people shared some gnocchi and beef tartare while a couple people got burgers. We had maybe 4 bites leftover, and no room for dessert, it was a personal victory. I'm sad I didn't get photos because I love the feel of each unique area that's here. The restaurant is bigger than you think because it's subdivided into smaller rooms. We had a group of 7 for a work event (which meant I kept my phone put away) and were in a cozy little nook in the back by ourselves, I'd never even noticed this little spot. What a fantastic time we had!

It's a great environment with a lot of good drink options. I always opt for the Parker rolls which are tasty but again expensive for the amount you get, I typically order the trout (which until coming here I didn't realize was essentially the same as salmon). It's very good and the potato pancake is a nice touch. Over my visits I've also enjoyed trying the short rib gnocchi, butter chicken, and brussels. They also have a small party room which I have attended an event in before which is always a nice touch. It's secluded and of course much quieter than their main dining area which can get pretty loud!

The bartenders are amazing, friendly, personable without being too much, knew the menu and made fantastic cocktails. I love this place. After every visit I have to forego pasta anywhere else for weeks. Nowhere in town compares. Their treatment of wild mushrooms is masterful. My partner and I scored a two-spot at the bar on a Saturday to celebrate and we loved it, as always. The service was just as attentive and friendly at the bar as at a table. The atmosphere there is cozy and intimate and feels very European. Bonus - you get a great look at other diners' meals. I've had the tajarin with morels in the past, blessedly, and got one of the final orders available, maybe the last for the night. It's always a revelation in how amazing simple, high quality ingredients can make a meal. The amount of morels is generous as well. He ordered the rigatoni with pork and enjoyed it very much. We started with a cauliflower and broccoli dish that would make anyone a cruciferous vegetable aficionado. I had the always wonderful browned butter bourbon drink and a twist on a Manhattan for dessert. He had the house Affogato and really enjoyed it. This place is always worth the time and the money. It's among my favorites anywhere in the country that I've ever eaten.

SO DISAPPOINTING!!…read more We were a party of three - I arrived before the others. Hostess could not find our reservation, but after some time claimed to have found it and attempted to seat me at a table for two - I had to correct her, and I was then seated at a table by the window - the draftiness was significant and distracting on a cold evening. We were offered a small basket of bread with a small plate of olive oil with a blob of what appeared to be roasted garlic. Our party ordered the lamb shank, the lasagna, and I ordered the Carbonara-our waiter exclaimed how that was an 'excellent choice and his favourite item on the menu. I expected a bowl of hot fettuccine with a thick, flavorful, creamy cheese sauce, but what I got was a bowl of lukewarm pasta at best. The 'sauce' was runny and lacked flavour - it resembled milk. There was no salt or pepper on the table, nor was any Parmesan cheese offered to help improve the flavor of the sauce. No additional bread was offered. We ordered Creme Brulee for dessert. It too was NOT hot, the sugar topping was burnt, and what should have been a firm vanilla custard was also runny - and had almost a curdled appearance. Again, outside of burnt sugar, there was no flavour. Our server was nice enough, but the food was so lackluster I can't recommend Ill Mitto. I will have to think long and hard before attempting to dine there again.
