Solid sports bar with decent food. Service was decent. Food came out quickly. Best thing on the menu that we sampled were the Buffalo Chicken Wantons. It's great that they serve a little later and that they seem to work to accommodate special requests. read more

The restaurant and bar area were fairly full and we were greeted quite quickly by our waitress. She took our drink order and returned a bit later for food order. We were in the area on vacation and decided to try this restaurant. My biggest issue was I ordered baked cod with roasted red potatoes. When it came out, my potatoes were still hard and waxy. I mentioned it to our server and she took my plate. I get it back with just the cod as they are heating up or re-roasting the potatoes. So I had a choice, eat the cod without the side or let the cod go cold. I did a bit of both. The cod still got cold as it took awhile to get the potatoes back. It was an awkward meal for me. I would have preferred that the server just give me a whole new piece of cod that I can eat with my potatoes like I should have been. And to add insult to injury, I would have expected a discount for the inconvenience. Comp the app or offer a free dessert... nothing. We eat out regularly and when things like this happen, the restaurant is always apologetic and will "make it up to you". I had one restaurant comp a $25 salmon dinner because my salmon was just a bit underdone. My husband said his sandwich was not very good but I think that was a poor choice on his part. The restaurant itself was nice inside but there was a big mix up with a reserved table that was not marked and a group of about 6 elderly diners were confused as to why they couldn't sit there. How about putting a sign on the table? And they weren't the first group to think the large table was for them. The server was quite nice and was the bright spot of the whole experience but if we are back in the area, we will not be back. read more

My first time here. A client has a new business near by so we thought we would give this place a try. I ordered a Rüben sandwich with Turkey and fries ( the sandwich is stand-alone and I paid extra for fries) my client ordered the fish tacos with a side of veggies. My Rüben was so so. The thousand island dressing was runny but the sliced Turkey was good. My clients fish tacos looked yummy. My fries were spot on and cooked perfectly like fries should be. I only ate half of the sandwich. However, I will try this again to give them a second thought. Love going here on a weeknight. Great food and drinks at a pretty affordable price. I got the chicken tenders with bbq sauce. It was decent but I was told the best sauce they have is the honey Sriracha sauce (a must try). It is nice because you also can either have them put the sauce on the side or mixed on the tenders. I also really like their margaritas on the rocks. A perfect blend of alcohol and margarita mix / citrus flavor (however they blend it). I get this drink every time I come here. My partner and I went to Draft House for an impromptu date night one Saturday evening because we had a coupon to use for their pizza. The parking lot was full but luckily there was plenty of street parking nearby. You seat yourself here, so I had him drop me off at the door while he parked the car. You can choose to sit in their dining room, the area by the bar, or on the patio. We found a spot on the patio and enjoyed that, as the inside was very busy! We started out with an order of nachos for an appetizer because we wanted to take most of the pizza home for leftovers. The nachos were delicious and I would definitely recommend getting them as an appetizer or your main dish. We then ordered two large specialty pizzas because our coupon was BOGO. Make sure to check out their current specialties in rotation for some unique and yummy choices! We tried the Greek pizza and the supreme. Both were so good and we can't wait to order pizza from here again, or try the other various menu options! I give Draft House 4/5 stars because the service wasn't 5-star worthy in our opinion. We are very understanding of dinner rushes and staff shortages - we really tried to give them the benefit of the doubt because we've worked in the service industry ourselves - maybe it was just an off day. Regardless, we still had a good experience and enjoyed the food a lot. This will not stop us from going back and giving them another shot! read more

I came here with a big group last night (10 people) for a friend dinner. I've been to the Draft House a handful of times, probably would more say 3.5 than 3 but here goes... Immediately, the employees looked put off by our big group size. The waitress rushed a bit through our ordering and took our tap list for another table before we could order most of our drinks. There should be more tap lists available. It was difficult to ask for anything as it seemed she wanted nothing to do with us. I understand big groups are difficult, but we all ordered a lot and tipped well. The food was pretty good, although I could have used more fries. Tasty cold beer and reasonable prices. I think I'd come back but wouldn't recommend for groups. read more

The first day we came, we tried the root beer and we now visit every week. They provide amazing service, food, and drink. The pizza is the best in the area and the homemade appetizers are just right. The waiters are very kind and we strike up conversations with them all the time. Anyone I know could tell you that I'm terrible at ordering and the employees are always understanding and patient. This place might be the best place to come to get full! Verona WI is a small city just outside of Madison and we were recommended here by a friend. We went on a Friday so of course we had the fish fry. Hubby ordered blackened walleye and I had fried cod. Fried cod was super tender and it came with these amazingly delicious cheesy hashbrowns (because cheese=Wisconsin). Hubbys blackened walleye was FANTastic (because his plate always tastes better than mine!) Minus one point for the offensive Packer paraphilia... that's just what happens when you take a Chicago girl into a Wisconsin world. Seriously tho.. reasonable prices, large quantities of food. I ordered takeout the other day. I wasn't super impressed with it. Everything was super soggy and I arrived at the time I said I would be there. I got the Honey Bourbon Chicken Wrap - sounds delicious, right? I wasn't sure if I could taste the bourbon. Also, I ordered it with crispy chicken. It was not very crispy. Nor were the fries that I got with it. There was just so much honey sauce that the sweetness was overwhelming. I'm guessing I should order something else next time. Looking for a place in Verona to watch the game? This is the place. They've got two levels of bars and seating, lots of small TVs downstairs and a huge projector screen visible from both levels. I've watched Badgers and Packers games here. I haven't gotten food but they've got cider on tap along with lots of beer. The restrooms are cramped with multiple users and they could use another soap dispenser but, hey, it's a sports bar so as a woman I rarely have to wait in line. They have a large parking lot but on game days expect to park on the street unless you get there early. They definitely have more seating than parking. The bartenders and servers are super friendly. I seriously feel like a regular every time I come here even though I'm not a frequent visitor. I like that. Keep up the good work Draft House! read more
