The food at the dinner I attended here was good on a whole -- this was one of the better meals I've eaten at a conference of this nature and I was rather pleased to have been able to attend such an event. I really enjoyed the prime rib and the broccoli. The sound system worked great throughout the evening and there were good sight lines throughout the room for our event. Just golfed with my family today for the second time. Last year my family and another family that…read moreincluded a 5 year old golfed here. Last year we were yelled at by the manager for taking too long. Although there was nobody else on the course. First let me say that there was only one other golf party of just two behind us and we let them play through. This year. Just like last year the manager/groundskeeper came to us and was very rude. Immediately arguing that our cart was in the wrong place, we we taking too long, did we mess the sand trap on hole two etc. as he drove away after the confrontation he yelled "you can leave but you don't get your money back." Just an awful man. The sweet woman working the cash register did not apologize for this behavior when we spoke with her about it. I'll never golf here again.

The facilities have always been nice and clean and it's great to be so close to the water. The office sells wood and ice so everything you need is on site. We just wrapped up a 3 night stay. We were kind of concerned about the size of the spot 167, but…read moreended up preferring it over other spots we've used. To say they are pet-friendly would be an understatement. On arrival, it was like walking into a kennel - dogs barking from all directions, some off leashes. This went on the enire first day and night. As a dog lover, I was still annoyed, especially when the 430am rounds kicked in. We had the fan running, a noise machine & still got little sleep. The 2nd day was like being in a different campground... far more as expected. Yes, there were still dogs barking once in a while, but it wasn't nonstop and there weren't any roamers. We slept well the rest of our stay with one other downside. The position of the sewer hose connection - it had no threads and was sunken in too far, actually beliw the ground. This prevented us from having a secure connection - meaning we would get odor. We greatly enjoyed the privacy trees, night skies & convenient location. We still feel the pros outweigh the cons, friendly staff & the price is reasonable. We will stay again & will look at getting an adapter to help with the sewer issue... cuz ewww
