Went and tried this place out yesterday. Here's a few things I can tell you from my experience. The…read moreplace is pretty small, and all there is are weights, bags, and a ring. You take your shoes off when you go in - you can either be barefoot or wear socks. Once you sign up you get a pair of gloves - but if you want the better quality ones they mark them up an extra $12. You also get a wrap for your hand - again if you sign up. If you're trying it out for your first time like me, they stick you with a pair of reallly smelly used gloves, and no wrap. I mean the smell was so bad I could barely slip my hand back into them after I took them off for the first time. Also, no hand sanitizer in the whole place - the entire drive home all I could smell was this nasty BO from my hands I couldn't wait to go home and wash them. The instructor was really nice and helpful. The workout seemed pretty good to me, I'm sore today. Mostly just hitting the bag, doing partner work with these things one person holds up for you to hit, and you hit them then switch. Jumping jacks, squats, burpees, and more were in between hits for cardio, which I enjoyed. Not gonna lie I'm pretty intimidated by the ring and I'm glad we didn't use it. The instructor did say though that every workout they do is different. For a couple to sign up together it's $90 a month which I think is to high for what's there. But on the other hand they do offer yoga which I really miss. You're allowed 24 hour access but I really wouldn't know what to do there without an instructor telling me. If you're into boxing or kick boxing then this is the place for you - if you're just looking to find a good workout routine I think you may find something better for the price.

A few years ago, I was interested in getting my child some self defense classes due to bullying in…read morethe school system. Not really thinking this was a long term commitment I could not be happier. I stumbled upon this studio years ago through Google. I took a chance and called to make an appointment with an instructor to see what was offered and what my options were. As there are several options for you and/or your child I thought best to start personal one on one classes and I could not be happier with my choice. Not only has my child stuck with the lessons (personal) for years she has a great bond with her instructor; Aaron. He has been absolutely amazing with her! Not only does she have a higher self esteem she now stands up for herself and no longer takes "garbage" from class mates! The building it's - self is not your typical karate studio, it's very "rugged". Remember you are not there to enter a fashion show! It's exactly what I had wanted for her! Focus on what your lesson is vs. what belt or uniform you will be wearing. As you do have the option though, comfy clothes are best. As for the price you will not be able to beat the offers here. Not only is my daughter attending classes my husband also started attending ( you probably spend more in fast food a week than you will here ).. On a side note, let me say that my husband works out at a regular gym 5-6 days a week few hours a day and never comes homes as hyped up and sweaty as he does going to Tracy's for a half hour once a week. He will be the first to say WARNING: Aaron will kick your butt!! No mercy for the weak (haha). You learn a lot in a short period of time and the instructor will not continue on until he feels you are secure with what was taught and you are doing the moves correctly with no hesitation. We hope to continue lessons for years to come; Thank you Tracy's Kenpo Studio for all your hard work in changing my child for the better!! I could not have done it without you; Aaron especially.

This is an absolutely wonderful place to learn martial arts. Using several different methods,…read moreyou'll learn not only basics of fighting and self defense, but also the history and science behind what you're learning. Mark & Aaron do a wonderful job leading & teaching & the other instructors are great as well. Our kids (ages 5. 7, & 9) go to the group classes & have learned so much. It has made them more confident and they get a workout every time. My husband and I also take lessons & have learned so much. It never ceases to amaze me how knowledgable the staff is & how willing they are to teach anyone who asks. They train MMA fighters, cops, & regular people off the street like you and me. The icing on the cake is they have really great rates and plans to fit different budgets. I highly recommend this place.

We have been with evolve martial arts for a year now. What started as a beautiful relationship…read moreturned very sour quickly. I have been having health issues lately and can no longer make the weekly meetings and was very honest about my situation to the owner. When I told her I would like to remove my child from the program because I am too ill to take her and my husband cant take her I was threatened with legal action. Do not put your child into this unless you know that your health will not decline. Its 49 a week, plus 89 graduation fee every three months plus 500 for their gear that they grow out of quickly then they refused to allow me to purchase my own weapons to try and curve the cost. They charged us 129 for a 40 dollar bo staff. The owner is a saleswoman and extremely pushy. I have told her that due to my schedule and health i wouldnt be able to meet in person to cancel our commitment and now she has threatened to file a legal claim instead of being empathetic to our situation and understanding. Do not put your child into this program if you are on a tight budget. I also recieve constant text messages trying to sell us packages. Like literally every single day. My child has been in past programs and I have never had this experience before. I am absolutely disgusted with they way Mrs. Laikin has chosen to handle the situation and do not recommend this place to anyone unless they know for certain that they will be healthy and financially sound for the next four years.

I did a 430pm clsss on a Friday and there was maybe 6 people there. The instructor was motivating and music was on point. The only thing not giving it 5 stars is the price! I know gyms are expensive, but they seem excessive. $25 for a drop in .. Way to expensive for this hockey mom!!! I will stay at my small hometown boxing gym, the price is right!!
