This is such a wonderful place in Yellow Springs, Ohio. Definitely recommend coming here for a tattoo- one of the best artists in Ohio, his work is crazy cool.

DO NOT GO HERE TO GET A TATTOO I went to dragon tree tattoo to get my very first tattoo. Not only was my experience there bad, even weeks after my experience was horrible. I had booked my appointment with Josh Web but when I had arrived, he was still working on a client and was set back about 3 hours so the shop owner referred me to Jesse, Josh's brother. I live about an hour away and didn't want to cancel as I had already made my appointment over a month in advance. I asked the shop owner if Jesse could do detailed tattoos which to that she assured me, ‼"honey, i have the best tattoo artists in ohio". This was quite incorrect let me tell you. Only until after I had got there, she told me they don't take card for these tattoos...made me run to an ATM across the street to get cash and spent an extra like $7 in fees for withdrawing. After an hour of waiting for Jesse to draw this simple tattoo up, I had sat down with these stencils on my arm, they looked great...as stencils. When he started tattooing me, he pulled out a shading needle. The tattoo I wanted was considered a micro tattoo and should have been a fine line needle. Had I known any of this before hand, I would have walked right out of there. What I didn't know was extremely unprofessional at the time, he HANDED ME the tattoo gun, no ink in it, to test how it felt on myself. ‼At one point during the tattoo, he raised his eyebrows and smirked when I had asked if he was high now. Red flag and I should have gotten up and LEFT. During the last "bee" on my arm, the stencil wiped off and he LITERALLY FREEHANDED IT. I have also been informed he shouldn't need to wipe that much ink off unless he was shading. I was so excited to be getting a tattoo that I left feeling happy until 10 minutes down the road I came to realize how much of a mess this tattoo even was. This was literally three smudges on my arm. I had texted the owner the situation and said "Would you be willing to discuss a solution?" She had blatantly ignored me. I texted again after I had driven up there to talk to her in person. This time saying I wanted a refund seeing she was not willing to discuss with me. AGAIN, IGNORED ME. Very unprofessional as the OWNER. A week goes by and I received a text from Josh, the person I was scheduled with in the first place. He had said he's been coming up with something to fix my tattoo and he would do it free of charge. I had thanked him greatly for reaching out to me. I didn't like the design as he turned the original tattoo into simply shadows of the bees. He wanted me to come in ASAP so he could fix it. I worked and didn't want to go back feeling rushed into another crappy design. I wanted to turn them into moths or hummingbirds and to that he said "I really like the honey bees for this design". I had gotten back to him that I would not be comfortable returning to dragon tree tattoos as I had become very wary and lost confidence. I said I would much prefer my $220 back in a cash refund. He asked me if I was sure and said "I am more than capable of finishing that for you." and "last chance." To that, I had said yes I am sure, and I had confidence in HIS work and I'm sure he could make it into a great tattoo, however I was not comfortable returning. I added to that, "I am simply asking for a full $220 refund for the work that has already been done." He replied to me with a massive text saying I had bullied and asked him to pay out of HIS OWN POCKET, which I had not, and how my bullying towards him may have to send him to the hospital. ‼NOWHERE IN ANY OF OUR CONVERSATION WAS I IMPOLITE OR BULLYING‼ He had said a failure to leave his place of employment alone would "result in a civil suit for loss of wages ($1200day) plus hospital expenses from the mental anguish you have caused..." FURTHERMORE, in his text he said I had signed a legal document.... I NEVER SIGNED ANYTHING THEY JUST SCANNED MY ID‼‼‼‼ I feel there is not much more I need to say. I will attach images of responses and what I had asked for V.S. what i got. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

They were incredibly friendly and professional from start to finish. If I'm being honest, my request was full on stanning, but I just really wanted Luka to know that I thought their work was beautiful and hoped we could work together. Days leading up to the appointment, Luka was very clear in their communication with me. The appointment itself was great. It was very nice to explore all kinds of topics with Luka, while quiet time was sweetly woven in. We even shared the lunch break together. The short of it is - I'm honored that I got to know Luka and really happy that I have a couple of beautiful pieces from them. I'm already thinking about the next two I'd like to ask them to work on.

The guys in the shop were super cool, very friendly and personable. Sandroni was the one that did my tragus piercing. He was very knowledgeable, definitely knew what he was doing. Explained all of the dos and don't, as well as the whole process of the piercing. I have to say, out of all of my piercings, this one did not hurt and wasn't even red or swollen right after and even throughout the healing process. He did a great job! The room was super clean and up to date. I would definitely recommend this shop for a piercing, ask for Sandroni Oh and go on your birthday so the price of the piercing is free (Still have to pay for jewelry so don't get crazy)

On top of that the whole tattoo costed well over $200 whilst being about the size of a dime and a preexisting design. I was charged for "designing" the tattoo when all they had to do was look up the symbol I wanted and print it out or use the photo I showed them. The process was relatively professional and everything seemed well sterilized so no complaints there. Other than the ridiculous pricing the overall experience wasn't bad. I just wouldn't recommend to anyone who doesn't want to over pay.

A friend and I chose Aisle 9 to get my cartilage and doubles and his nose pierced about a year ago, and the woman whom worked with us was not only very careful and knowledgeable, but super personable also. She talked us through absolutely every step and made sure we were super comfortable, and both piercings came out great. I would definitely recommend the place to anyone looking for high quality at a reasonable price.
