Why shop online & have to wait for parts etc. when you can buy from Hamilton HOBBIES & HAVE IT NOW and if you need to return something you do not have to wrap it, drive to the post office and wait for ??? long to receive it back. I believe in supporting my local businesses as long as they are in business. AND their prices are most of the time LOWER than online. Dennis M.

Coming from racing drones for the last four years we have some rc knowledge and know how to work on stuff. Well as soon as we walked into the completely empty store we were given attitude by the lady at the computer with the first question. We asked about tires for our trucks, she point towards the back and said over there. So I asked about a receiver for one of my controllers so I could bind another truck to the same radio, she then told me that's not possible, even though I got the info from traxxas website. After we got done looking at tires we had more questions and wanted to ask about different parts. She told us how her brother and dad have been doing this for XX years and that SHE knows what she is talking about. It was overall a very awful experience and definitely drives customers to spend money online rather than deal with people like her. We think it would have been a better experience had the brother or dad been there instead of the barcode scanner. Who seemed to do bad at her keeping stock job, since it would show in stock but it wasn't anywhere to be found. Would have definitely spent more there.

I felt welcomed in the store and I highly recommend this small business, these stores are dropping like flies and need our support!

Unfortunately, when we arrived we realized that there were no dice here to be found. Nonetheless, we took a minute to look around and just generally check the place out, even though none of us are particularly interested in comics. That being said, they did have a TON of comics for sale (although I couldn't tell you how popular/good any of them were), along with miscellaneous related merchandise such as posters, books, and action figures. As the name implies, they also had a number of different card based games in stock as well such as Magic the Gathering. Although I completely understand that this is a comic book store and not a hobby shop, I was still surprised to see they had no dice, or other D&D related stuff either. Nonetheless, I think that this shop could be of interest for people living in northern Cincinnati who are interested in comic book culture and being the nice guy I am and seeing that they were not on Yelp! (although their sister site on Montgomery Road is), I decided I'd go again and throw them a review. You're welcome!

I decided to make a craft for my boyfriend's sister for Christmas. I thought it would be easy. Then…read moreI went to the craft store. The staff is really friendly. Every time, if I have any questions or need anything, they're squirrelly and running around but once you've pegged someone, they try to help you. The problem is, more often than not, the store doesn't have what I need! My most recent example was purchasing a snow globe... But they had no snow! Who does a thing like that? It's cruel. The organization of the store is confusing, too. Choppy. Like a maze. I don't WANT to go to Hobby Lobby. Ever. Michaels, get it together. I want to buy things from you! So many other locations are great. I want my local location to be great. Go here for basic things. They have some pretty helpful coupons available on their app and classes at the store. If you don't want to go to Hobby Lobby, order online or find another store for fancier things. Good luck. Don't expect snow.

What drew us in this time was our desire to shop for next year's Christmas decorations. Well, the place was pretty much picked clean after only about 12 hours of opening on Christmas day. There were plenty of bargains earlier in the day, though. We were salivating over all the mark-down signs (okay, she was. I was just following her). Why is this place just A-OK? Because there were quite a few things in disarray all over the store. When it comes to crafting, orderliness and cleanliness are paramount. I spotted pegs without price tags on items in almost every aisle. The fabric area has one roll laying on the floor. There was not a single worker in sight when we browsed up and down the aisles. It's not as if every worker is up front ringing up customers--most registers were closed and there wasn't a line. Maybe we came on a bad night. But staffing appears to be an issue at this location.
