There is a bar area with a very cool dry-cleaner style conveyor belt where they have different bottles on display. There's comfortable seating at the bar as well as tables off to the side. There are also bathrooms in this area of the event space that were clean and had plenty of stalls. This area can be separated from the next room, which is bigger and seems like it can be customized for different events. For this event there were a bunch of eight foot tables for the breweries. There are also a bunch of garage door style windows that can be opened to create an indoor/outdoor kind of feel to the space. Outside there is a large area where there was a stage with live music and food trucks were able to pull in as vendors. Overall the event space lent perfectly to the Craft Beer Festival and could be easily adapted for other events. It also can accommodate a variety of group sizes. We had a great time at the venue and will definitely attend future events here and if I was from the area it would be a great venue to consider hosting events as well.

You can either walk through the gun center or enter at the rear / side of the building. Either way it is a bit of a walk so could be a concern for anyone with mobility issues. I was surprised that there were not any disabled parking spots close to the side entrance. It's a large lounge, upscale and beautifully decorated though does not have an intimate feel. Majority of seating is tables vs. bar. The cocktail menu is unique and fun, with the different drinks named after famous and infamous gunslingers. I had a Baby Face Nelson which was attractive and delicious. At first I though it was a little weak but towards the end it hit with a bang (see what I did there). I also took advantage of the ladies night menu and got a $5 cucumber mint G&T. The cocktail pricing is what you'd expect, ranging from $12 to $16. The wine list is not extensive and I would not describe this as a wine bar. But, I would come here seeking a fancy cocktail anyway. No food served, but door dash menus are available and there is also a limited menu for direct delivery from the Indian restaurant across the road. The outdoor patio looks nice. We were there on the earlier side, around 5 PM on a weekday. Service was pretty attentive with only one waitress handling the tables. I think if they found a way to serve some simple appetizers and put in a railing along the walkway from the parking lot to the door (thinking of my husband here) I'd give it five stars. They have a weird rule in that they insist on scanning your ID, regardless of age, up until 7 PM any day - this is so that no one who orders a drink can go next door and shoot (where they also scan IDs). The shooting range closes at 7 PM. So shoot first, drink later.

Her communication exceeded my expectations. I would recommend her for everything. She listened to EXACTLY what I wanted, was amazing, communicated, and even threw in multiple surprises! I didn't like to hear from my wedding party how they thought her boss was disrespectful and breathed down her neck ( I thought Katie was helpful, but it made sense once I heard it)... but she was able to take lead, and do an amazing job event planning while juggling other events leading up to my big day. You'd be crazy to pass her up and passing up the Oscar.. I plan to upload WAY better photos of this venue.. this is all I have for now since I just got married Saturday and Daniel Michael (also 10/10) wouldn't be able to send me photos until a few weeks! But if you're contemplating the Oscar, you can reach out to me for any questions or concerns you have!!!

The prime rib was flavorful and cooked perfectly. The pork loin was tender and the apple chutney was a perfect companion. The dinner service was seamless as well as the setup and clean up. If you're looking for an affordable venue without over the top options then this can't be beat. We would host another party here without question. Bravo, Mill Race. They had a bunch a round tables and a small stage for the entertainment. There was a rolling bar area that was by the entrance which was really just a makeshift closet space. The food was buffet style and was good. I went back for seconds so I can't complain. Staff was friendly and made the night enjoyable.
