To the worker at the register, during the DARC Sport pop up shop event on April 24th, 2026, a Caucasian male wearing a cowboy hat with longer brown hair, who looked me up and down when I entered and said, "there's a man who could benefit from our help," I want to be very clear about something. That kind of comment isn't motivating. It's not funny. And it's definitely not professional. I'm aware I'm out of shape & im working on that currently. It's exactly the type of behavior that makes people hesitant to walk into gyms in the first place. Not everyone enters a gym confident. Some people are just trying to take the first step toward bettering themselves, and comments like that remind them why they were nervous to begin with. I'm currently training at FitClub gym, where the environment is respectful, focused, and built on encouraging people, not sizing them up the second they walk in. That difference matters. If your goal as a business is to build a strong community, it starts with how you treat people the moment they walk through the door. You never know where someone is in their journey. A little respect goes a long way. Hopefully this is taken as a reminder that how you speak to people, especially in a space meant for growth, actually matters. read more

Well equiped gym. Equipment you don't see everywhere and it's awesome. The free weight area is cramped as the benches are close together. But you can move the benches around to get more space. Tripods for Cellphones are allowed which is annoying times but not too bad. Tis the culture we live in now. And most were very respectful, but not all. My annoyance is the gym bags on the floor rule is not enforced. There was one piece of equipment that had five bags around it making using the equipment impossible. And, other bags were scattered around other equipment throughout the facility. They had ample unused lockers that are very visible throughout the main area of the gym. Then there is the "entitled" non natty people. I had a couple try to take my station twice so they could film themselves kissing and what ever. read more

I love Dragon's Lair! This was my second time coming to this gym, and both times, it was a great experience. I got a day pass for $30. Both times I came here wasn't too many people so I was able to workout uninterrupted and try out different machines. This a bodybuilding gym has so much equipment that a commercial gym doesn't have. The main reason I love this gym is for the posing room. Out of all the posing rooms I have been in, this one has the most anabolic lighting. The mirrors on all sides makes tweaking both front and back poses super easy! read more

This is for sure a body builder focused gym, with every single machine you could ever need. They did have a powerlifting combo rack, one dead lift platform, kilo plates and a squat bar. The staff was super kind and engaging, and everything was incredibly clean. I will absolutely be back whenever I am in town! read more

Wow. Just, wow. It might not look like much from the outside, but this is a great place. If you're local, you probably know about this gym and you're probably a member. If you're in town, why not stop by? They have passes for 1, 2, 4, or 7 days. This is truly an elite gym. I went for a week and while it was always crowded, it never felt crowded: there were people there, but I never had to wait for equipment. And the people? Great people. The staff were friendly and welcoming. They're helpful and walking around, attentive to the members. The members are great, too! I know some gyms advertise that they're not intimidating, but here it's really true: and there are some actual professionals here, that's clear. Great equipment, great people. Tons of body building equipment and great vibes. I only give it 4 stars because for the hype that it gets I'd expect there to actually be some more high end equipment there (e.g glute builder machines, newtech, etc.). Also because the insulation in the gym is not very good--I was in Vegas in the summer and it was over 100 degrees out, and when you are working out on equipment near the walls of the gym (which the cardio equipment is, lol), you can actually feel the heat coming in from outside. Also they advertise a $150 free gift with a 2/3-day/week pass but it's kind of a scam. It's not Dragon's Lair branded or anything so IDK what it is but they seem to be just giving away leftover stock of something that we ended up just leaving at the hotel because it took up too much space in our luggage. read more

Was doing a quick visit to Vegas and couldn't survive without a gym. Luckily Dragon's Lair provides day passes for $30, admittedly this is expensive, but I know there are bad 24 hour Fitnesses that charge $25. Dragon's Lair is an elite gym, the equipment is well maintained, and unique. I wish my local gym in my hometown had equipment like this, and I would pay an arm and a leg. I am a bodybuilder myself so I felt like I fit right in, but I could see this gym being intimidating for average gym goers. I did not notice any rude behavior, and even talked to a few members and other guests who were really nice. Additionally the front desk people are very kind and accommodating. I asked for a lifting belt (because I did not travel with mine and they gave me one to use). Additionally just because I was a guest I felt like I was being treated as if I was a member, as they explained I could use the posing room and all as well. 10/10 would come back here, and if you can afford it recommend this gym. read more

Visited the gym while bringing in 2023. Location was convenient to the north strip. The gym has a great vibe. As a strength and conditioning coach, I appreciated the accessory and supplemental machines. A very good selection of lower body equipment, dumbells, and Olympic weights. Just heard about the place and stopped by to check it out: Spoke with the millennial at the front desk and told him I just heard of the place and stopped in to take a look. He asked me if I've been in before. So I repeated exactly what I just told him. "Hi, I just heard of this place and stopped by to take a look." Incredulous that he wasn't paying attention to anything I had just said. So he said, "scan that with your phone." I left my phone in the car so I wasn't scanning anything. I just wanted to see the place. I don't want to scan anything or look on my phone about the gym. I'm here and I want to see the place and possibly join. I told the kid exactly what I wanted to do. He wasn't listening to anything I said. I turned around and walked out. On business traveling as a competitor, I "tried" to visit other gyms (which I won't mention), dragons lair was one that was in my list "to visit" and I must say hands down did NOT disappoint. Check in staff was THE most gracious, welcoming and friendly, unlike the "others". Equipment was spot on, as well as members. I post this bc I feel bodybuilders are judged, however hands down the most welcoming, friendly vibe I've felt since I've come to Vegas. A def must visit to ALL levels of fitness! A+ read more

All I can say is, no wonder everyone fucking left to go to Strength Culture and Cult. Fuck this gym. The female front desk associates are so unprofessional and disrespectful it's insane. Everyone here is so unprofessional. When I signed up, the associate signing me up never told me that I'm signing a 12 month contract. If I knew I was signing up for a year I never would've signed up. Every gym I have worked at, you tell the member what the fuck they're signing up for and you discuss the different memberships. Not this gym! And when I emailed to cancel my membership, they said I haven't finished my contract and would owe them $800. Then when I replied to the email stating how I was never told I'm signing a contract I got NO RESPONSE. So fucking unprofessional. I'm not paying an extra $800 to a gym I don't go to. I will be talking to my bank about this! This unprofessional shitty gym will not be taking my money anymore. read more

6/26/24 Manny Garay here. I'm new here in Vegas, from MN. I checked out Dragons Lair Gym tonight. I've seen this gym on YouTube numerous times, watching motivational Nick Walker vids ! Wow, when I got here, it was better than I imagined ! This is an incredible gym ! The equipment is pristine. The gym was clean and you could see it was maintained properly. Although one can see this gym is hardcore AF, the Vibe was very cool and the people working out, that I walked bye were friendly. I felt no clique or attitudes ! I was most impressed with front desk employee, Fabiola ! From the moment I walked in, she extended herself to me, to the moment I left. I am a big believer that people always set the tone at the front entrance/door. Fabiola was professional, informative and friendly from the start. I will be coming back, because she convinced me what a great gym Dragons Lair is, as well as what I experienced it to be !! read more

Had a friend in town visiting from England who wanted to visit Drangons Lair as he was a fan of both the Gym and Flex Lewis. The staff were incredible and very welcoming. Tasha was amazing!! She gave me and my friend a full tour of the gym and help him pick out merch, we were not expecting to be treated this well. Also on the way out we ran in to Dana Linn Bailey who let my friend take a photo with her and was very nice to him. The whole experience was a real high light of his trip.
