Hey y'all! I'm a 6 yr, all-star, elite reviewer on yelp. I write over 100s of reviews from my experiences at businesses. I go to all YELP elite parties & events gathering free items from generous businesses, no issue. Today, I'm reviewing my PAID service at this business. I was as in-depth as I could be here...having written more, I couldn't fit it all into the character count. My 5 star was changed to 1 star today! Unsatisfied! Here's why.. I purchased a 3-month package at $200, up front. That is $69 a month, already over-priced but hey I supported!! I went here weekly for 3 months, at first, I bought into it thinking it would be good idea due to the turn-out at the free party they had! I liked the energy at the free party! That made me ask about pricing. Never did I once ask about if the membership was free, or if anything was free. I asked about pricing. I spoke to someone over text and I even asked about pricing about their podcast room. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was WRONGFULLY accused on text by JOE, that I was asking for something free, when in reality, over text, I asked about pricing, I asked about the podcast room and was told by their podcast guy, what he'd charge me, to use the podcast room and what he wouldn't charge me to use the podcast room.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE on their part. The first straw! RED FLAG![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Anyways, I started to go to the gym, I kept to myself, using the door system, having read the instructions on how this is a NON-SUPERVISED GYM, so I just did my own thing while there, getting out my own equipment, on my 2nd day there, [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was RUBBED THE WRONG WAY again, by a staff, named GREG, who I didn't know, who didn't know me, he approached me from behind, he did not carefully introduce himself, he just TOLD me-as asking me if I could put away my rack, in which I didn't remember leaving a rack out, but if I did, I wasn't done with it, I said to him, why didn't you introduce urself, first? He responded with disrespect that it didn't matter either way he worked there and they put their stuff back![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Hahahaha really? My intuition never lies to me! I just knew he was targeting me. He had targeted me on MY first day working-out there, he came to me randomly, & asked me if he could use the same equipment I was using, while I was using it... I felt like it was an attention grab w/ the wrong approach and yes I sent the gym owner a text about it letting him know his staff didnt have manners!!!! As I started to go there, I noticed, JOE told me how they put their equipment back, how they keep the gym clean and from my daily perspective, that was a false statement. Countless times: I've seen equipment being left out, no supervision, no one telling someone to put their stuff back, I've seen countless times the gym was dirty, dusty, nasty smelling restrooms, sink was broken, restrooms smelling like crap, trash cans filled to the top, lots of dust on the equipment, floors filthy... so the whole truth wasn't being told. But none the less I held back and held my composure to at the least get my money worth. BROKEN DOOR!!! 2x.. So I went there literally for 3 months straight, till the end of my 3 month membership. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was targeted total 5x by GREG... none of the times was he POLITE, or friendly, but was to other people there.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I noticed this and stop going there due to him rubbing me the wrong way MANY TIMES! I FELT TRAPPED! [[HIGHLIGHT]]I've spent my hard earned money there and I demand effortless customer support which was NOT RECEIVED....[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The owner JOE, could had gave me another 2 weeks... (I asked to freeze my last 2 weeks) but I didn't use my last 2 weeks..... on the house... since I paid for those weeks and didnt USE THEM, just to show remorse & to COOPERATE with me. Once again, he didn't, he's a bad sign, has bad juju. I today asked for a refund since they billed me again for a 4th month at $69 on auto pay without my permission.... I believe they said I it would be auto pay after the 3 months is up, but I wasn't made aware or asked again if I wanted to continue being billed. Which I didnt. I stopped going here little by little over time in the last 3rd month. [[HIGHLIGHT]]BIG lack of understanding...... A business can easily work with you and say hey, I'll refund you, knowing u won't be back and thanks for letting me know right away, having missed your freeze and you haven't been back since... I understand. But NO... he wants ur money!![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I've kept it professional and held back, held my composure focusing on my workouts soley but mannnn, NO, I wouldn't had committed to a contact here! Just wasn't for me. I now have access to 2 FREE modern gyms & 2 new free podcast spaces elsewhere, can come and go as I please. No hassle. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The very unprofessional OWNER JOE, leaving a fake response to me.....he was texting me at the same time being fake!![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'm providing proof that my comment about leaving a review that wasn't great after 3 months of going there wasn't a threat.... Aside from memberships, a day pass is standard $25 & multi-day passes are available. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The reservation system is easy once you download the app and create a profile.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Convenient parking, supportive community, and overall great place to pop in locally or while visiting for a great workout. Everything was recently renovated and updated with RP team guidance, which is awesome. Showers and lockers are available if needed, and some drinks and sauna is available for a fee. The place is super clean, the ambience is spot on, and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the entire experience is seamless from check-in to workout.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Good selection of equipment and at least when I have been it's never too crowded. My group and I came to Vegas for a bachelor's trip and we were looking to work out some of the buffet we had been eating all trip. This was the only spot nearby the strip that seemed like it had really good equipment and it was also member access controlled which is similar to the place I currently go to so I knew it wouldn't be too crowded like the hotel gyms. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was greeted by one of the workers/trainers who explained the day pass to us.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] After getting in, we had a solid workout for about 90 minutes. I can't emphasize enough how clean and well taken care of the overall gym was. The machine pulleys were all smooth with no friction and they had enough racks for everyone to use. Not completely related but almost everyone was really in shape which was definitely some added motivation. I would recommend to anyone coming to Vegas for a trip and I will be back here the next time I come as well! read more

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Had a hiccup with the gym trying to workout out a bit after 10pm. Got there 10:20pm, I tried to book the 10pm and accidentally booked the next day 10pm. Why isn't there an 11pm option?[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I moved it to 12am hoping I am able to go soon and I thought I can reschedule again if I changed my mind. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Joe the owner did a great job reaching out as soon as he could after at 5am to explain the system and listen to all my feedback on how the gym can do better. 5 stars for the follow up.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Overall the gym has all the equipment and 24hours, including rings which is rare and exactly what I was looking for. read more

Strip Barbell was the first gym I checked out, and I originally came because my trainer moved here (shout-out to Gianni if you're looking for a great trainer!) The gym is always super clean, bright, and welcoming. The equipment is top-notch, and the overall vibe makes it really easy to stay motivated. Definitely recommend. read more

This gym is very spacious with great lighting, music, and solid machines. I love that it's open 24 hours and has a sauna and lockers it's very convenient. And very instagram able One area that could be improved is cleanliness. I noticed reusable rags with spray bottles hung on the walls, but only a few throughout the gym. I think Paper towels, additional spray bottles, and small trash cans placed around the space would feel more sanitary and would help keep members safe. A light dusting of vents and fans would also help. Overall, it's a good gym with a lot of potential! read more

Probably the prettiest gym I've been to. The equipment is brand new and they have so many unique machines for everything you would need. I am a CF goer so I love the CrossFit equipment when k can't make it to class. The saunas are the icing on the cake! read more

Such a cool concept "The Strip Barbell" has going...you get a private workout suite all to yourself for an hour for the same price as a drop-in rate at many other local gyms. The room is well-equipped; there's multiple barbells, a squat rack, a platform for olympic lifting and deadlifting, tons of plates, kettlebells, bands, a bike, and a few other accessories. This room is perfect for any powerlifting or olympic lifting practice, and you can do many CrossFit workouts here too. Reservations online are a snap and everything was seamless for getting in. The owner responds quickly to questions if you have any. All in all, a great experience and I'll definitely be back! P.S. It's walkable from the Strip, but you have to go *through* the Cosmo to their hotel drop-off area, make a left, head out to the street, then a right, then follow the sidewalk up a flight of stairs and over the freeway. It's a bit of a maze, but fairly easy, and about 10 minutes from the Cosmo, 15 from NYNY or Paris. read more

The Strip Barbell is great place to workout. They have pretty much any equipment that you're looking for and best of all their open 24hrs a day. Being able to access the gym on your schedule and not someone else's is great. He made sure I had everything I needed: specific kettlebells, chalk, etc. The private space is opened via app which was very easy and convenient. I'm conflicted, but let's keep it real and unbiased. The gym itself is well-equipped. If you have any experience, you're bound to get a good workout whether you're into functional/HIIT or strength training. There are plenty of bench/squat combination racks as well as two deadlift platforms with Olympic plates. The dumbbells only go up to 100 lbs, though, and due to the smaller nature of the space there aren't really any variety of machines past leg and a few cables. I wouldn't say that the atmosphere is very welcoming, but to stay true to individual experiences I may just have had issues with actual access. The app that you download to use for entrance failed to cough up a code or button three different times. I had to rely on the email I received as proof once someone actually let me in the door after 10 different faces ignored me standing there. If you're into the social media and 'influence' angle, this is the gym for you. Hybrid fitness type? Nailed it. Old head, iron and sweat guy? There are other options, and I don't think you'd appreciate this spot for what it is. The resort and casino gyms have pretty much everything this gym also offers to you short of maybe the Assault Bikes (great btw). read more

Absolutely gorgeous gym! State of the art equipment, incredibly private & clean. I believe there's a cap on how many members they're letting join the gym, which is nice so you're not fighting for equipment & you'll beat the crowds. It was kind of confusing to find the gym at first since the sign kind of blends with the color of the building & there's another nearby facility called "The Strip Crossfit" but the owner, Joe, was quick & responsive. There's no front desk staff, so you can come in whenever you want with 24/7 access through the app. So happy I found this gym! read more

What an amazing gym. While on vacation here in Vegas, I was looking for a gym that would have some decent weight and some decent variety of machines just to have at least a light workout. To my surprise I stumbled upon The Strip Barbell. Not only was the owner Joseph super helpful and friendly, the gym itself is by far the best gym I've been to. The entire facility provides state of the art equipment ideal for your heavy lifters, olympic weight lifters and powerlifters. Clean and organized as well as orderly. This gym not only served to give me a good workout but also not stop my progress when it comes to powerlifting while on vacation. If you are in Vegas, this is the gym to go to.
