This place is horrible. They cut my dogs ear during grooming. Also took them between 9am - 4pm for the grooming and she ended up lookin. Absolutely nothing like the photo I submitted. They also put hairspray in her hair. read more

I then questioned you deleting my question with a screen shot, which you once again deleted and then blocked me on Facebook. A good business takes all feedback seriously, positive or negative. Not even going to address the poor grooming done on my dog but rather the after effects of her being at this salon. She has been skittish since coming home, winces at me or my husband trying to pet her, she's been shaking nonstop and won't eat. Best pet grooming salon around. I've taken my girls to Dramatic Paws for several years now and I've never had a single issue. Holly and Amanda are so good with both of my girls. They even take special care of one of my girls, Gracie, who has high anxiety. They work closely with her and gives her several breaks to help calm her anxiety. The quality of their work is outstanding and I couldn't ask for better groomers. THEY ARE AWESOME! I would highly recommend them to anyone. read more

First off let me say that until now we have been happy with the grooming services we have received over the past couple of years with this business. We've used DP previously because we are locals and want to use local small businesses whenever possible. When my wife scheduled a grooming appointment with the owner and only groomer at DP for our standard poodle, two labradoodles, and our lab, we had no idea that this grooming appointment would be any different than our previous visits. On the morning of the appointment I dropped off the dogs with the women who I now know to be the dog washer, not the owner/groomer who I'd met previously. No other dogs or customers were in the shop when I dropped off my 4 dogs. My wife had previously instructed the owner/groomer of how the dogs were to be groomed on this day. The dog washer said she would contact us when the dogs were ready for pick up, so I left assuming all was as it should be. Having been notified that the dogs were finished later that afternoon, I told my wife that I would meet her there to pick the dogs up. Upon arrival we had no idea that our dogs had been groomed/scalped by the dog washer (who apparently fancies herself as a groomer). We were unaware that the owner who we made the appointment with and expected to be the person grooming our dogs had called in sick that day and passed off the grooming to her untrained dog washer. It should have been a red flag when the dog washer lady insisted that we pay for the grooming services before we ever saw our dogs (normally we load them up then pay). We paid the $250 grooming fees for 4 baths and 3 cuts and gave the dog washer a tip, all this without seeing our dogs. As soon as she brought them out I loaded the excited and obviously relieved dogs into the truck for the ride home, my wife was in her vehicle headed home as well. That's when I noticed our standard poodle now had a high and tight, her head was shaved and even scalped just above her right ear. Her ears looked like they hadn't been touched, she didn't have her feet trimmed, no puffy hair anywhere, just a single length allover clipper cut period! We wanted the dogs trimmed short but not scalped, NOBODY cuts a standard poodle like this dog washer/wannabe groomer did. Then I noticed out multigen labradoodle female, she was also trimmed very short, her tail had been shaved and her tail puff completely cut off! Her shaved tail makes her look like a whippit! Really? Our male labradoodle had been trimmed all over, his beard completely cut off. Okay so we can live with that but she shaved his rectal area so short that he had clipper burns which we had to treat. His butt looked like a baboons ass! Luckily our lab only got a bath and his nails trimmed. Needless to say we weren't happy with the services provided. My wife reached out to the owner of DP within minutes of arriving home, the only person we've ever dealt with at DP to express our concerns and disappointment with the services provided (I mean a 5 year old couldn't have done a worse job grooming our beloved dogs). Instead of making any effort to make the situation right (like refunding our money for the cuts of the 3 dogs that my wife could have and has done better), she pushed back against our argument. Now 2 weeks after the fact, the owner of DP had her husband (who wasn't there and has no first hand knowledge of how the dogs looked post grooming), this clown has the nerve to contact my wife on Facebook arguing about the services provided! WTH? And then they made allegations about how we cared for our dogs! You have got to be kidding me. Did we just enter the Twilight Zone here? If you live in Ozark and want to patronize a local dog grooming business, I would strongly advise you to NOT go to Dramatic Paws, these folks were unbelievably unprofessional in how they handled our experience. I'd recommend you go Carol's Grooming or Healing Hands, anywhere other than this awful establishment. Don't waste your time or money going to DP, but more importantly DO NOT subject your canine family member(s) to the careless and neglectful treatment that this unprofessional groomer gave to our dogs. Too bad I can't leave a negative star rating because this would be a negative 5 star review for the overall experience, or should I say trauma. read more
