We struggled finding a…read more Primary Care Physician for check-ups; physicals and occasional winters colds and what appeared to be minor ailments. Many walk in clinics have wonderful nurses but the turnover in their employees is continual-which hinders good service. We were referred to Dr. Hopkins and his staff and it was just what we needed. They are located right off the square downtown Murfreesboro in an older but very neat building. Our family has seen Dr. Hopkins on occasion and also his PA's and nurses-they are all very thorough, professional and kind. They have either always taken care of us or referred us on to a specialist when our case warranted. The front office staff are polite and always ready to answer questions. When our private insurance was cancelled by BCBS and like thousands had to scramble for health insurance- we made sure our new coverage was a policy that Dr. Hopkin's practice accepted. Our family has found our doctor!

My first visit was with his PA, Cassidy Crawford, and she was fantastic. I saw Dr. Zane Cooke for the first time yesterday and was completely impressed. Dr. Cooke spoke with me about my lab results in a sincere, unhurried manner. We discussed my medical history, and he genuinely seemed to care. Dr. Cooke is a credit to his profession. Their system constantly glitches and does not save the "pre registration" and I have to do it again at the office. This is not a simple registration. It is several screens and prompts. At the end of my pre -registration they bombard you with SALES ADS - trying to push medications - telling the patient to ask their doctor about the advertised medications to see if you could take them. That is extremely unprofessional. It is my doctor's job to be educated regarding the best protocol for the patient. I do not believe that we should be swayed by a pretty pharmaceutical ad to ask our doctors for medicine. I am considering changing doctors just because of this process. I feel they have sold out to big pharma.

I receive a written report of our discussion and any plans going forward so I don't leave feeling like I need a medical dictionary. Brittany is amazing also. She is always friendly and can get my blood draw done with one stick. I love having a doctor who can address all my concerns and doesn't have me waiting for hours for a 15 minute check over.
